First restaurant we dared eat in while visiting Florida. The staff is following health guidelines with masks covering their faces correctly. The inside diners are socially distanced. Plastic partitions between the booths offer extra protection from aerial spray from people having fun! Very intelligent design. I ordered the stuffed French toast with strawberries, blueberries and cream cheese. LeeB ordered traditional breakfast with blueberry pancakes. The Stuffed French Toast is amazing and is now #3 on my Favorite French Toast list. read more

It is advertised and known as a small local diner, that has great food, very reasonable, honestly cheap prices, and a staff who cares about you. They are friendly, and will do what they can to truly serve you and go above the call. Locally owned for 10 years, and the daughter of the owners was our waitress. Chloe you were awesome!!! We started with coffee, which for a diner, had actually a fairly good flavor. I am a coffee snob, and knew it wouldn't be amazing, but it was better than average. There are free refills there, and they do a good job of keeping you loaded. My fiance ordered the benedict, and HOLY SMOKES, the hollandaise was creamy. The yolk was super runny, as it should be, but the kicker was the bread. They home make their own rye bread, and I HIGHLY suggest changing from an english muffin to that bread. It has a distinct flavor at the end that makes it amazing. The veggies in my "skillet" were SUPER fresh. Spinach was not too cooked, tomatoes were juicy, eggs were perfect, hash browns with a little crunch, and the Mahi, WOAH!! Super moist, not over seasoned, and a great addition to the meal. A full bite, with a little hot sauce was immaculate! Overall, you really can't get much better than this. If you want a great spot, that is literally 200 yds from the beach, open early so you can see the sunrise, this is the best spot you'll find. Well done Beachside, I am so sorry I can't give 5 stars! Only thing to be aware of is that the prices are a tad higher than expected. But definitely worth it! I promise :) Also gluten free friendly!!! A quaint little breakfast place. Parking is in the back and tight but worth the effort. The food is fresh and out fast. The girls are very attentive and made sure our drinks were topped off. Food came out hot and the omelets​ were very good. I enjoyed​ the grilled biscuit and the spinach​ in my omelet was fresh which is rare beachside. If you're looking for something that you can't (or is tough to) make at home, you've got to come here for brunch. Parking can be a little tough, you've got to go south on A1A and park in the rear by the Longboard House. This local gem is smaller on the inside but hands down worth any wait. After debating for what seemed like hours (really only like 5 minutes) based on other Yelp reviews, I opted for the stuffed French toast which is dipped in pancake batter and then deep fried. Heart, be still. Of course, I ordered bacon and eggs in the side to make sure I couldn't walkout I would be so full. The bacon was soooo good. It was crunchy and juicy all at the same time. My boyfriend has the avocado skillet and LOVED it. No crumb stood a chance. He said everything was fresh, cooked perfectly, and really flavorful. Pro tip on the stuffed French toast: you can have NUTELLA put inside. I know, it's a game changer. The service was outstanding. Those folks work so hard. This place deserves every 5 star review that it gets. Absolutely over the top in quality. I'm an iced tea lover. They had me when the server brought it in a Tervis Tumbler with plenty of ice. Other reviews mentioned their Eggs Benedicts and Stuffed French Toast. We ordered both. The Eggs Benedicts were cooked to perfection. Slightly runny yolks, the Hollandaise was so creamy. Yum. We both loved it. The Stuffed French Toast you have to taste to believe. Our came stuffed with strawberries and bananas, with Nutella on the side, which I'd recommend because the whole thing is so rich. Basically it's two slices of wonderful bread, stuffed, dipped in pancake batter and deep fried. What's not to like? I'm not a coffee drinker, but hubs said the coffee was top notch. This is the first time we took leftovers home from breakfast. You've got to try this place. Go early. Parking is limited and the place fill up any day of the week. read more

The diner breakfast I've been craving! I went twice last week with my family. Each time, everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the corned beef omelette and the breakfast burrito. The burrito was pretty good, but the omelette was excellent! They also have Frank's hot sauce which is my fav. My niece thought the hash browns were amazing, they were crispy just how she likes it. Before commenting, let me correct Rebecca's (from Texas) distance of Beachside Cafe (comment below). It would not be called "beachside" if it was 15 minutes away from the beach! Actually, it's about 200 feet from the beach. Everything about the place for breakfast is great. Coffee is regularly followed up. The entrees are generous, they are prepared and delivered timely, the prices are modest, the service is made with a smile. There is a totally welcome feeling from the instant you step into the place. My two friends and I eat breakfast almost weekly together in the south-central area of the county. We have a rotation of about six or seven restaurants that we frequent. Beachside Cafe is too far from our usual haunts, but it's definitely worth an occasional ride (13 miles). We think it's among the top three breakfast places in the county. read more

Everything we've had here has been Top Notch!! They have THE BEST Oatmeal we've ever eaten! It's served with brown sugar & milk and you can add on several other toppings. We get raisins, walnuts, & blueberries, each at at small charge. The eggs are always piping hot and the bacon crisp & yummy!! Whenever I travel I am on look out for places just like this. It's a local spot with tired but well loved decor. The staff is scurrying about making tourists feel welcome and regulars like family. The food is hot and home cooked. Prices are decent and the proximity to the beach is unparalleled. Parking is tricky, but I think that's part of the charm. In fact, from the parking lot, you're not even sure you're in the right location. My husband has asked three times already "why can't there be more places like this?" We had egg skillets (full of toppings) and daughter had pancakes and bacon, and everything was delicious. Great place to eat. Service was awesome from the server to the waiter and all other staff members. I got the Ameicano it was the best of the 3 sandwiches we got. Daughter got the Italano was very good and wife got the Turkey club very good too. My potatoe salad was awesome daughter had the side salad she loved it and wife got the fries. All the sides were excellent. People bragged on their tea and they were not lying my wife raved about how good their tea was. This café was the perfect Saturday morning breakfast spot. We were in town for a wedding and stopped here before heading back home and I'm so glad we did. I had the "Three key" - 2 eggs cooked perfectly, (over-medium) a huge mound of hash browns, (perfectly crispy) 3 bacon strips( perfectly cooked ) with 4 halves of wheat toast. (It's toast...whaddya want) Price - $6.60?? I completely enjoyed it, everything was absolute perfection! My wife and sis-in-law both had the Veggie Omelette, neither of whom could finish. So much food for the price. We also ordered the Stuffed French Toast, which is......Life-changing! listen, just drive there, order the Stuffed French toast, and... your life will be better! Obviously it's my first If you're ever in the neighborhood and want to try some delicious breakfast just stop by here at the Beachside cafe! One bite and your eyes completely shut, slowly chewing the scrumptious food! Besides the phenomenal meals here, I wasn't a big fan of the restaurant itself. Chairs are old and torn which they used duct tape to cover the tear. The coffee cups have some kind of logo on it but it's so old that you can't tell what it said. The entire store has advertising for the longboard store next door (who knows, maybe both stores are owned by the same person lol) Other than that, if you don't care about the looks of the restaurant, this spot is perfect for you.
