Think of it as a TJ Maxx, or a Marshalls/Homegoods. Not bad at all. They do have slightly better prices than most, as you would expect from an outlet, and Barbi is a fan of the store, and that's why I bring her here whenever we have time and she sees one, and she told me that it's at least three star location, but that since they were pretty friendly with her she wants me to go with four. Yes I was in here too and yes I paid, but she's a more attentive shopper than me and she's 99% of the reason we come here, so she's a better person to judge.

This is a massive sprawling and magical shopping center that it's hard not to love. I know strip malls are ugly and generic, but not all are created equal, and this massive oval-shaped monstrosity is honestly beautiful, and some of the fancy restaurants along the highway are gorgeous, with lake views. We've been loving it for a long time, since a couple of days after I met Barbi, when I came here. There's a lot going on here, so many stores and a lot of love honestly. A lot of fond memories and wonderful times I've had here over the years at FOTL, much better than LOTR for example. So I have a very close and romantic association with it. I purchased two chicken wraps, four cans of diet Arizona ice tea, and a bottle of Starbucks cold coffee. Finding what I needed was straightforward, and the shekves were stocked. The overall layout felt very familiar, with bulk groceries, frozen foods, clothing, household items, a pharmacy, and a food court. The food court even offers similar staples like pizza and the $1.50 hot dog combo. One thing I enjoyed was seeing ICEE drinks available, which was a nice change from what Costco offers. Prices and product selection were generally comparable, and we found some good deals on sparkling water and chips. We also checked the gas station and noticed fuel prices were essentially the same as the Costco in Sugar Land. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. One difference I noticed was that Sam's Club seemed to offer fewer free samples, although that wasn't a major issue for me. My biggest disappointment was the electronics section. Compared to Costco, the selection of laptops, computers, and electronics felt much more limited. There were a few TVs and desktop computers, but not nearly the variety I typically see at Costco. Overall, I had a positive experience and can see why people shop here. However, the differences weren't significant enough for me to jump ship from Costco. If you're already a Sam's Club member, you'll likely find good value, but for now I'll be sticking with Costco.
