No complaints about the food. It's was really good. Food and service alone 3.5 stars. Cons: the establishment is really dirty and quite dated, not an elegant dated, but more dilapidated. This becomes apparent as a patron walks through the dining room to locate the facilities. The bathroom is filthy. We came here Thanksgiving morning for brunch before heading to the airport. It wasn't too busy but there where a few larger groups that had to wait outside for a table. Our group of four was seating right away. I had the veggie quiche and home fries. The quiche was very good! It was light and fluffy and almost 2 inches high. The home fries were also good but VERY salty. It was a very hefty portion too - the picture shows about half. My sister ordered the pancakes and I wish I got a picture of those. Had breakfast here not long ago. The ambiance was nice and it's located in an old section of St. George. The food was good, the service was great and the place was packed. I gave this place 4 stars due to my eggs Benedict coming out somewhat dried out, as if the eggs had been under the heat lamp too long. Per their menu, the eggs are cooked medium in their Eggs Benedict, which was not the case, as the yokes were cooked through. I saw some huge orders of food go by me as I sat at the counter waiting, so I figured it was the most likely explanation. It was still very tasty. I ordered the spinach & bacon quiche with a side of avocado. First the side of hash browns were mostly over cooked crumbs (not eatable). Some people would have probably liked the quiche - loaded with bacon (over powered) and very little spinach, the eggs though were cooked to perfection. I never received my side of avocado. My husband and grandson ordered the stuffed french toast. Both liked the french toast, but my husband had ordered "lightly" cooked hash browns, his was definitely overcooked brown - but not crumbs like mine, he ate his but didn't like them. My 17 yr old grandson also didn't like his over cooked hash browns. When the waiter came to our table and asked how our meal was, we told him about the hash browns and he responded "sorry I put it down" and just walked away. Wow- new management? Or what? Lousy! We stopped by after seeing reviews online in 2023 and loved it just a year ago! This year, NOT SO MUCH! We were sitting within view of this young lady and didn't get a freakin' text. How 'bout you look up and tell us 10 feet from where you're standing? We got seated and ordered but were told twice they were out of what we asked for after another long wait. Maybe the kitchen could put up a note for the staff? I got coffee but no half n half that I asked for. I finally asked the hostess for half n half since she wasn't doing anything but standing there. ugh. I'm conflicted with this one. We came here a few years back and really liked it. I remember leaving absolutely stuffed and not being able to finish my meal. I kept that in mind in today's visit. I ordered hot chocolate and half of the apple stuffed French toast. My husband ordered a full order of the vanilla creme brûlé toast. My daughter ordered a cinnamon apple crepe and my two boys ordered mini corn dogs and a watermelon Italian soda. Ok, where to start, I think paying $9 for half an order of French toast is a bit exorbitant. It definitely filled me, but I think the $6-$7 dollar range is better. Especially since the meal comes with just that, no sides just half a piece of stuffed toast. My husband liked his $11 full piece id toast. My daughter said her crepe was delicious. After drinking hit cocoa and Italian soda, my boys weren't super hungry for their meal, but whatever. I had some fries and they were good. We did have to wait for about 15 minutes to get in. They have misters out front, but they completely soaked the shaded benches, so we had to stand under a nearby tree to wait for our name to be called. The hot cocoa was good, but way too big and we ended up sharing between the 5 of us. We may come back in a few years. I recommend ordering a number 8 or 9 that way you get to try a little of everything! I recommend getting scrambled eggs with cheese, home-style fries (instead of hash browns), bacon (I like it better than the sausage) and it's totally worth the upgrade to get their specialty waffle or french toast! We were in town for a few days and wanted a late lunch after swimming. We got there around 2, knowing they were closing at 3. There was definitely a small town vibe and a decent amount of people inside. However, it did take a while to get our order taken and food, but it was worth it. My husband ordered a combo breakfast meal that had two pieces of French toast, three eggs, home fries, and two pieces of bacon and a sausage patty. My son ordered the children's "Cub" chocolate chip pancakes. I decided on the Trapper's quiche (bacon and spinach) with hashbrowns. When the food came we were extremely pleased with the portions and the quality. The kid's pancakes were three giant chocolate chip pancakes, larger than my son's head! My husband was wowed by the fact that he ate all of that food PLUS it was under $10. The home fries were pretty tasty; almost made me wish I had ordered them instead of the hashbrowns. My quiche was nearly 2" thick, fluffy, decadent, and seriously some of the best quiche I have ever had. In the end, we also got 20% off an entree thanks to Yelp check-in and we walked away, stomachs filled, and leftovers for the next morning. Greeted as we walked in and we were apologized to for the wait being so long mid wait. It was no problem. Service was fast and friendly. Food was hot and fresh. Cooked to perfection! This is an adorable little cafe in a historic red brick building in the historic downtown of St. George. Charming and quaint from the word go. Breakfast for me this morning consisted of Grannys hot oatmeal with cinnamon, pecans, granola in a huge sundae cup, and of course half and half. I guess most people like it sweet. Already sweetened, it was topped with more brown sugar and came with a pitcher of pancake syrup. I ate it without either and still wished I could tone it down. The oatmeal itself was excellent and very creamy. Drink offerings included 3 kinds of coffee, light, med, and dark roasts, espresso drinks, and smoothies. I saw a lot of gorgeous breakfasts coming out of the kitchen and colorful fresh fruit cups. Their patrons all left smiling. This is a great breakfast place. read more

If I could leave a zero star, I would. We moved to town a few months ago and this local spot was featured on one of the news stories. The food looked amazing, so we decided to give it a try. They weren't too busy and we were seated immediately. I ordered the huevos rancheros and my daughter ordered a breakfast with blueberry pancakes. I didn't know people could screw up pancakes so terribly, but somehow they managed. My huevos rancheros were just average. Well... that was about the only good we can say. Our server never once returned to fill our drinks or ask us if we needed anything. We sat there for almost 20 minutes watching all four server girls sit at the bar talking and laughing. We even watched this little boy from another table take his glass up to the bar and ask for more water. When I saw that, I had enough. I walked up and asked for my bill, paid, and left. I have never walked out of a restaurant and not left some sort of tip before, but I did this time. As we've been trying to figure out which local restaurants we will frequent, this one has definitely been removed from our list. read more
