We did the two meat and two sides and then ordered an additional side. The brisket and cornbread were phenomenal. Brisket was tender, flavorful, and had a good smoke flavor in it. The chicken was moist and a great texture.

Incredible. We stopped here for an early dinner and it was delicious. We got the 3-meat plate with brisket (upcharge but worth it), ribs, and pulled pork. 2 sides come with it, and we opted for beans and mac & cheese, plus a cornbread. The meats were all excellent and flavorful. The beans were black beans which was a surprise, but not a bad one. A wee bit of kimchi provided a refreshing counterpoint to the meats and rich sides, and a nice alternative to a southern style slaw. The cornbread wedge had a honey syrup already on it, plus a sprinkle of salt that was chef's kiss. Two of us shared the plate and we were plenty full. Sadly, no pickles available on a Sunday evening - they were making more the next day, though. Located in Da Tambayan Corner - there is street parking and a small dedicated lot, and a few food trucks and large seating area.

They have some of the best smash burgers I've had on-island, and I love their mac and bbq! A filling meal and super friendly staff, recommend trying if you happen to stop by in town! - Miguel Morales Photography

CORNBREAD all day long! This is the best cornbread I've ever had and I LOVE cornbread. My husband doesn't but went and bought two more orders. The chicken, pickles, and Mac n cheese were also really great. We will be back. Love this food truck park. Great seating and shade.

Missing good ole midwest bbq flavors while in Maui? Eat here and sleep sleazy after. Loved the pulled pork, cole slaw and creamy bbq sauce.

The aroma from this truck is amazing and was calling for me to try a plate. I opted for the the BBQ brisket/chicken combo with mac and cheese and Cole slaw sides. They also threw in a sampling of the kimchi and pickles. The meat was tender and juicy. The BBQ sauce was on the tangy side. I enjoyed the BBQ without the sauce. The sides were very tasty and fresh. They were a great complement and really balanced out the meal. Good portion size. Would definitely come back again.

Amazing BBQ with friendly and quick service! Visited this food truck area in Maui while on vacation. This place lives up to its reputation. The whole family really enjoyed the food. We tried the pulled pork loaded fries, pulled pork loaded Mac n cheese, beef loaded fries and link. Favorite was the pulled pork but beef was great too. Very Barky and flavorful. I will say with the Mac n cheese it seems a little salty for my taste, but it didn't stop me from eating it. I would still order it again. Portions are large and easily shareable. Prices for island food were affordable, three adults ate for less than $75 with tip. The owner was really friendly and helpful with suggestions. They also aren't open everyday of the week, check yelp info on the business before going. A few things to note, we came later in the day so some items were out. The food truck area has plenty of picnic tables, (no covering if raining), 1 bathroom, limited lighting and some table top fans. Clean and nicely set up, access to garbage cans and well maintained. If you like BBQ it's a must do for Maui.

Half BBQ Chicken, Single rib. Comes with amazing side of pickles & incredible house BBQ sauce (buried under the meats)

Best BBQ on the island. The chef is dedicated to his craft & does a 48hr brine on the meats. Incredibly moist & very flavorful chicken n ribs. The dry rub and brine offer perfect flavor, and the pickled side + sauce bring it to the next level. 10/10 will come back every time we're on the island. This is your sign to go if you're hunting for BBQ!!

Needed a gluten free option, had the ribs and sauce no bun, was delicious. Awesome flavor, just wish I would have ordered more.

I was immediately intrigued by the calamansi pork -- an item I had never seen it on a menu before. One bite and I was hooked. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the bright, citrusy calamansi added a unique tang that made the dish completely unforgettable. It was so good that I'm still thinking about it after coming home. We also tried the pancit noodles, pork sisig, and mochiko chicken, and every dish was excellent. The pancit was packed with flavor, the sisig was gelatinous (fir those who are into it), and the mochiko chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. For my first visit to Maui and my first time trying Da Soriano Grindz, this food truck set the bar incredibly high. If you're visiting Maui and want amazing Filipino food that's a little different from what you'll find elsewhere, don't skip this spot. The calamansi pork alone is worth the trip.

We had a party of 9 so I wanted to make a reservation ahead of time, but no one answered the phone. I ended up going in to make a reservation. Parking is located in back of the restaurant. We parked in a space marked Hemi's because that used to be the name of the business. They use portable, electric grills instead of the built-in gas grills usually used in KBBQ restaurants. The electric grills don't smoke as much as the gas grills. Many of the items on their menu are pre-cooked. The only thing we ordered that we cooked on the beef brisket. The meat was tender and tasted yummy with the dipping sauce. The Banchan was limited to kim chee, green salad and eggplant, The food was really good! We especially enjoyed the mandoo. The only downside is that prices are a bit steep. I'm glad Maui has a KBBQ!

It was one or two workers running back and forth to fulfill all the orders. One of the auntie's at the restaurant advised us to just take a seat anywhere and that's what we did. The chairs are a bit high, so we weren't seen right away, but once they saw us they got us a menu, water and asked us what we wanted. We chose from the menu: soondubu, kimchi jeon, and kalbi (which we didn't get but I'm sure they were overwhelmed and didn't notice since there was a big party). Just by observing the place and the orders placed by the bigger party, if you look around the restaurant there are other food items that you can order. We didn't know and just stuck to the menu, lol but a note for next time! Again, the seats are very high so we were waiting for our food for quite a while. But once they noticed that we didn't have our food, they apologized and got our food right away! First came the banchans, I really enjoyed them! My favorite was the fishcake and radish kimchi. Kimchi pancake had other vegetables mixed in, not just kimchi. I wasn't expecting the other veggies, but it was good nonetheless. Then the grill and meats came. It is a portable grill and each table has an extension cord to plug the grills in. Once the uncle came to our table, he got us started with the grill and meats and cooked for us a bit! The attentiveness and effort was there and we really appreciated that. We then got our soondubu. It was very warm, refreshing and not too spicy. Our once empty table was now filled with banchans, sauces, meats, and lettuce! Once all our food came, the nice auntie came over and apologized again for the long wait for our food. She had said she would give us the kimchi jeon as a "service" which kinda means "it's on the house" as an apology. We understood the busyness with the restaurant and short staffed workers, but we're grateful for the effort and attention they had once they realized. Overall we enjoyed our experience here at O BBQ! We left full and satisfied, but not over bloated! I know Oahu has all you can eat KBBQ, but all you need is some good food, good meats and good company to enjoy KBBQ on Maui! We are glad we chose to dine in and try this new spot on Maui. We'll be coming back again!
