It's located across of Kahala Mall in the Kahala Professional Building on Kilauea Ave. There's a small parking area of only 4 stalls for visitors. However, there's a lot of street parking and possibly free parking at Kahala Mall. I first came to her in early 2024. Before making my appointment, I had a look at her Instagram and website. Since this was my first time getting my brows done, I had many questions. Tina was incredibly sweet and answered all my questions. She helped me feel more comfortable and made the whole process very easy and smooth. The initial appointment was slightly longer than the touch-up appointments because we carefully discussed the type of brows that would complement my face structure and my preferences. I trusted Tina to work her magic as I was unfamiliar with the process, and I'm so glad I did! My brows turned out beautifully, and I was absolutely in love with the result. They truly enhanced the natural beauty of my facial features. I came back for 2 touch up appointments within the next 2.5 years and each time I came back, I fall in love with my brows all over again. I've been trying to refer family and friends to Tina as she is a fantastic brow artist! She also specializes in lash enhancements including liner tattoo and lash perm. I contacted them with the request, "Help me get brows!" and Candice immediately responded - it was within the hour! She said "no problem, we can do all types of tattooing" and I proceeded to book a consultation. I've never heard of a studio doing consults to make sure you're choosing the right procedure so I really appreciated this. When I met with Candice, not only was she really sweet and personable but very knowledgeable, as well. She recommended the Suji eyebrows for $495. That was another shock - the price! I've had friends pay upwards of $700 for their brows but the Suji technique was only $495. I immediately booked my appointment. Candice kept in touch with me up til the day of the appointment. I got there and she explained the procedure and we began. She put in a lot of time and effort to drawing the perfect shape and matching color and I trusted her 1,099%! Candice was very meticulous and such a perfectionist, which I completely appreciated. She numbed my brows and then the tattooing began. It was painless (I wish I had been numbed for all 35 of my tattoos lol). And quick! 45 minutes later, I got up and I had a set of beautiful and amazing brows...for the first time in 15 years! I couldn't believe it. All throughout the procedure, Candice would check on me to make sure I was still numb or that I liked what she was doing. I got exactly what I wanted and so much more! The difference Candice's brows have made to my face is phenomenal! And it's cut down getting ready each morning. My nails are my favorite that I've ever had and if this nail tech was here permanently- I would book regularly!! First off, there's free parking and a lot of it! Beauty Mark is located on the second floor, in the same building as Fujiyama Texas. The building has a lot of... character, to say the least. It may not be polished on the outside but the inside of Beauty Mark felt bright, clean, and comfortable. There is a ton of natural light that makes the ambiance really nice. The bathrooms is a single room, but very clean. Since this spot isn't usually a nail salon, I was the only one getting my nails done in their waiting room area. There was ample space for me, my nail artist + all her supplies, and my stuff. They played local/ Hawaiian music at a nice volume, loud enough to hear but at a volume where you can talk freely without an issue of hearing the other person. I'm not a typical customer of this establishment since I don't get permanent makeup etc. done but I did really enjoy my time getting my nails done here! However, as I get older, I know I need to take better care of my skin but I don't have the patience. Last year, I decided to microblade my brows because I didn't want the tattooed look like my sister (sorry, Kalei). Since last September 2016, I started Crossfit and in July of this year, I began powerlifting. Some days, I don't care if I have makeup and some days I'm coming in straight from the office to train with my mascara (WATER-PROOF) smearing under my eyes, which I wanted to something about it (yes, I'm vain). CJ is one of the brow specialist at Beauty Mark. She also does makeup as well too. I texted CJ shortly after and she was able to squeeze me in the beginning of December. Beauty Mark Honolulu located in the McCully area on South King Street is easy to find. If you're familiar where Pineapple Patio, Beauty Mark is across the street in a building on the 2nd floor. Don't let the appearance of the building alarm you (its circa 1970ish, I think) because once you enter the salon, it's like you're in another world like the beauty salon of Narnia. It's relaxing, clean and the vibe is friendly where you are immediately at ease. For each of their services, they'll have you fill out a form to provide information on yourself as well as consenting to doing the procedures. With CJ, I chose to do the powder brow tattoo because in my opinion from the picture I've seen as well as searched online, it's a softer look of a regular tattooed eyebrows. CJ will work with you on your eyebrows until you're satisfied with the recommendations as well. She'll go over with you what she will do before and during the procedure. She will also take a before and after photo of your brows. NOTE: The procedure itself wasn't painful. Overall, a great experience because of CJ. If you're interested in powder brow, I highly recommend CJ at Beauty Mark Honolulu.
