I've been going to this location the last 3 years since I've moved to Sacramento and my go to is Jaswinder -- she is the best! She takes her time and I never feel "rushed" through my appt even though the place is always busy and appts are only 10 minutes. She is always gentle, checks in with me throughout the appt to make sure I am ok with how my brows look and then always ends the appt with cooling gel and a mini brow massage. I always love how my brows turn out and she's a pro at what she does! It is so easy to book her thru their app too. They're located at Arden so I try to go early mornings before it gets busy, there is also tons of parking. read more

LOOK AT THE PHOTOS!!! This is what my face looks like 3-4 days after getting a full face of threading. I have never in my life suffer from acne or bumps of ANY sort. I color my eyes out because just look at how nasty and embarrassing my face looks. Apart from my hyperpigmentation As you can see Iv ALWAYS had smooth skin from since I was a BABY everyone that knows me was SHOCKED to see my skin looking like this. I'm not sure if I'm reacting to the type of thread that was used or if they used a dirty thread on my face... I'll be leaving this review here. I have been a customer here for years and came in for an eyebrow clean up and TIPPED. She cut both my eyebrows in multiple locations and I was denied a refund and ignored when emailing back and forth with Beauty by Thread. I've been coming here for YEARS and this last year I never leave completely satisfied with how my eyebrows come out. I kept returning thinking I needed to find the right stylist or because I'm cursed with bad eyebrows. I went in yesterday for just a clean up, but my stylist officially ruined my eyebrows. She took off so much hair on my right brow it looks nothing like my left. I'm so disheartened and dissatisfied that I've decided to never come back here. Their service overall has gone down probably because they're overworked, toxic work culture, underpaid, etc. They lack basic customer service skills and never even greet you when you enter, but are so quick to ask you to write them a yelp review and to drop their name when you leave. These last 6 months I was going in to see the manager Ruby at their Arden location thinking I'd get better quality service and leave feeling satisfied, but it was the complete opposite. I've decided to cut ties with this Business and not return. Save your money and go somewhere else I am no longer recommending this place to anyone. I got a Stye after getting my brows done here! I'm so upset because I gave a great tip just to get an this ugly bump in my lid. I know it's from here because I don't mess with my eyes. I decided to get my eyebrows done for Vegas, that evening my left eye was itching and the next morning it's swollen! Over a week later I have the ugliest bump! I have never experienced this and now because it's over ten days I may have to see a doctor. Over 40 years of living I have never experience something so ugly. I believe it's from the hand held mirror they have you hold to look at your brows. Then you use the same hand after touching unsanitary item holding your eye lid down. I don't think they clean that after every customer. It's really sad and please be careful if you visit here. Have then sanitize everything! Here is the card that was given to me. I have been going to Beauty by Thread for just over 6 months. However, I will never come back. My brow stylist, Sabitra seemingly did a good job. However, a few days after my appointment a pimple appeared under my brow arch. I ignored it, thinking it was just acne. However, I woke up today with my eye swollen and tender, meaning the tools or hands used were dirty and not suitable for use on the face. My eye is infected and I am now taking antibiotics for a week and have to call out of work because of what my eye looks like. This type of infection is fatal if it reaches the brain. Please don't come here if you like clean and safe service. read more
