I have been a usual customer for almost 2 years even when they were at the old location. This is an update because their services have been going downhill. I usually get facials done and eyelashes done with my mother and sister. I stopped getting eyelashes done because it is a hassle to take care of it and to get refills. I went last week for a facial with my sister and mom and my mom also got refills. When my mom was trying to pay, they made her pay full price: $48 instead of a refill price $25 because the person working there said she barely had any eyelashes left, which was a lie because my mom had almost a full set of eyelash extension. Once I had to wait for my mom for almost 2 hours after I was done with my facial treatment because they forgot about her. Mind that we all went in the same time to get our facials. They used saran wrap as a facial mask for my mom that time because she had to also get eyelash extension and my mom said her face was burning and sweating from the saran wrap. Although they did apologize, but that is unacceptable. When I was waiting I saw workers hanging out at the counter then walked back and forth but no one cared to go check up on the clients and see if they were done. Their customer service is questionable and one of the new ladies that works there is not that good at giving facials. She does not apply enough strength and it is incomplete. From what I know, a facial includes: +face cleanse +exfoliate +massage +steam +back and neck massage +clear blackheads on face +pluck eyebrows +LED light therapy +apply facial mask Often times, the new lady does not pluck my eyebrows or clear blackheads on my nose. I am really disappointed at the service lately. I miss Julie who used to work there. read more

This is the exception to "you get what you pay for" rule. If you are getting eyelash extentions, you get much more for much less than you would pay elsewhere. I went to a place a few months ago and was happy with the result. But it was more money for synthetic lashes. Today, I received a full set of siberian mink for $98. Everywhere else I've priced it, the real mink was more than $200. If you haven't tried real mink, it feels way better than the synthetic lashes (softer, more "real"). Ping was my technician and she was on time, took her time, and did a beautiful job. She made sure I have her cell number if I have any problems with the lashes. The salon takes credit cards. (although they didn't ask about a tip before they ran the charge, so I had to tip in cash) Ping mentioned that Wednesday and Thursday are her day off, if you want to see her (which I recommend). read more

I've been coming here for a while now and I'm shocked to see everyone's complaints. I'm not sure what you're expecting when you pay waaaaaay less for eyelash extensions than any other place... on earth. Sure, sometimes they answer the phone when they're working on you. I'd rather they take down the appointment in 2 minutes then let the phone ring for 10 minutes. Sure, your eyelashes will fall out with the fake ones, that's because they are GLUED to them and will fall out naturally. Sure, maybe there was a language barrier and they didn't ask you for what size you wanted, so then make sure YOU ask when you go. Every time I come here, I leave feeling gorgeous. It's extremely addicting and difficult to take care of if you're not careful. Avoid rubbing your eyes and always use oil-free make up remover if you end up using eye make up. Get an old mascara wand, clean it with soap and water, and use it to brush your lashes up when they're starting to turn. If it's your first time, you will immediately feel like a drag queen and feel self conscious thinking that they're too long. Give yourself a day and you'll get used to them and most likely go bigger next time. I know I did. I've had my eyelashes done here for my birthday, engagement photos, my wedding day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Taco Tuesday, Thursday, heck, every day! read more

I wanted to come back and try the eyelash extensions since there were decent reviews about them at this place. I tried to book an appointment with Ping but the owner told me that she doesn't work there anymore so I thought I'll try her.... Experience overall was not what I expected... it was HORRIBLE! I paid a total of 48 dollars for my lashes and I HATE THEM!! before getting started....she asked what I wanted my lashes to look like, so I told her.... I just assumed that she would do the siberian mink (the softer one) on me but she didn't.... she used synthetic and they SUCK so badly!! you do get what you paid for.... But as a worker and owner, she should of showed me that there were more than 1 type (length, curls, etc) and let me pick from looking at the lashes before she started... Also, she was overbooking.... there was someone else in the room already and she was working on her too.. so i did not getting started on my appointment at 630.. it was a bit late.. and it took freaking 2 hours because I was sharing my time with the other person.... I gave this place another try HOPING to not be DISAPPOINTED... but NEVER AGAIN!!! THIS PLACE SUCKS! DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE... WHERE THEY CARE!!!! MY REAL EYELASHES FELL OFF!! I went in with high expectations of this salon. My friend referred me to this location, so I booked the appointment with another friend of mine. This was my first time ever having eyelash extensions, so I was a little nervous going in. I was immediately rushed back into the room without a consultation or explanation as to what their process or techniques were. The process was not painful, and it was relatively quick. Which i soon realized was a big red flag! They sped through the process, and attached a single lash to multiple real eyelashes which caused immense pain a few days after. My eyelashes were clumped together with the glue. I didn't have anything to compare it to, so I wasn't that disappointed at first. As the days progressed, my eyelash line started to really hurt, and it was very sensitive to the touch. And that is when my real eyelashes started to fall out. I was terrified that all of my real lashes would fallout so I made an appointment to a credible location in Pasadena. The woman was appalled by the terrible eyelash job, and had to take of the majority of the eyelashes as they were improperly applied, and tried to salvage my real eyelashes. I am still terrified to see how my eyelashes will look since they were so damaged from my first experience. I do not recommend this location!! read more

After a wk of being so upset with my lashes, I called to have them fix it. They were going to charge me $25 for a refill, but I said it's not a refill, you need to fix it. After going back and forth, I made the appt to go in that same day. Someone else redid them. It looks much better and fuller. It wasn't as perfect as I'd like it to be, but I was content about it. If anyone is unhappy with their lashes, I'd recommend you letting them know, rather going out unsatisfied. Wished I had done that sooner. read more

I came here a couple of times to get my lashes filled. I usually get them done in San Diego, but when I'm in LA for the weekend I come here. Their prices are very cheap compared to other lash studios, but unfortunately I've had a mix of experiences when it comes to quality. For example, once my lash artist used way too much glue and my eyes were burning for the entire day and red/pink for 3 days after. Another time my lashes were flawless, took an hour, were very full, and had great retention. I guess it just really depends on who you get. They don't really allow you to request a stylist (they haven't offered that to me at least... and I wouldn't know their names even if I wanted to request). Overall good and I'll keep coming back for the price. I just wish they were more consistent. read more

If you take anything away from this review, simply do not go here for eyelash extensions. You have been warned. I went here twice (once for a full eyelash set and then for a refill) and absolutely regret my decisions. The first session was very rushed but I didn't complain as the lashes looked amazing afterwards. The next day my eyes were in so much pain each time I blinked. First red flag.... I was moving out of town and wanted a refill at a great price. (Note the eyelashes did stay on for those first two weeks). So I went back two weeks later for a refill thinking I would get a more experience technician. WRONG. After weeks 3 through 5, my eyelashes are falling out. I repeat, with every lash they attached, my real lashes fall out with them. Though the $35 refill may tempt you, spend more money and go to a legit salon. read more

I was so excited to get eyelashes extensions done for the first time. Coming in we where greeted and taken to the room where you get your eyelashes done. I was introduced to the lady that was going to do my eyelashes her name starts with a N.. she started to do my right side and finished once she was going to start with the left side another customer comes in requesting for the lady that was doing my eyelashes I can here the conversation. The lash lady then excused herself for a second. When they where done I opened my eyes and it was not the same lady who I met in the beginning and who had done my right eye. They switched my lady to accommodate someone else. That's pretty messed up and unprofessional, now I have one eye that looks different then the other I'm beyond disappointed that they would play with people like that even in pictures you can tell. Never again now I'm stuck with these lashes for my trip very disappointing. Small advice don't switch peoples lash lady in the middle of the session not all do the lashes the same. read more

I made an appointment (no problems) on the suggestion of a friend. Could tell English wasn't their first language but no issues. You arrive and the receptionist area is empty. I sit down thinking maybe they stepped away for a second. A lady walks in scans the receptionist area and she walks through the curtains and starts talking to someone in Chinese. Seems she went and found someone herself. When the person comes out and notices me she asks me what time my appointment was for. I tell her and she looks it up in a book and motions me to follow her. I'm lead into a room with three tables with two of them filled. I lie down and she goes to work putting on the extensions. After about 40 minutes she has me hold a little fan to my eyes to help them set. She takes away the fan and hands me a mirror. I notice some are not straight so she straightens them for me. When it came to payment, I had purchased the Yelp Deal. She had to get the manager. The manager says the Deal is only good for the mink extensions which are on special for $98. But the certificate says nothing about specific products. We went back and forth for a good 15 minutes, she finally relented b/c I refused to budge on the issue when there was nothing backing her claim. She gave me a business card with the remaining balance written on it. Sketchy!! They didn't offer and care instructions. The extensions looked good and lasted. They got itchy when they grew out a bit. There were several that were glued to multiple lashes so it would still be attached but not completely so they were going all over the place. The whole Yelp Deal haggling turned me off, but $48 for extensions (regular not mink) can't be beat. read more

They really need to look into another receptionist that can speak better English. It's literally a headache every time I call to make an appointment or change a reservation. They also always mix up my reservations or not write it down. Then they proceed to claim that they called me to tell me that my reservation has been canceled. Lashes are never consistent either. Some days they do a good job and other days it's horrible. Although- I must say they do always try to assist their customers and make them happy. Which is the only good thing! read more

I have been going here for several months (since the fall). I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. It was a bit of trial and error at first. I knew that I didn't want eyelashes that looked like feather dusters, so I started off pretty short although they were full. My next trip or so I asked for longer lashes. I am now thrilled! when my sister, my mom & myself first came here, they did our lashes wonderful. but after our 3rd & 4th time they started to not do a good job, our lashes would fall out so easily. they wouldn't last a week! they don't respect apts but yet they always ask for you to make one. they over book themselves and have you waiting for 50 mins. we try to give them a chance over and over again first because when they take their time doing your lashes they would do an amazing job but when they over book themselves that's when they try to do them so quick and do a bad job. this last time we went my mom got a 2nd refill which she paid 45 dollars they looked and came out beautiful, 3 days later all her lashes came off she was left with just one! I messaged the manager right away let her know what happened and showed her pictures and everything. she replies back and says that my mom pulled her own lashes out. why would my mom do that and waste 45 dollars for her to pull her own lashes out, if anyone knows about lash extensions knows that you removing them y ourself know it's very painful. she later replies and says she can refund my mom back but she isn't allowed to get her lashes there anymore very rude and unprofessional. don't recommend them anymore! read more

I have never wrote a review till now. This has been my second time getting my eyelashes done here. The first time, my eyelashes fell off within a week. I called and let them know about it, and they told me to come in and they will fix it. Which they did. But this time around they put too much glue and attached clumps of eye lash extensions to my individual eyelash. My eyelashes feel so heavy and they hurt my eyes, like the clumps of glue scrape the inside of my eyelid. Usually when eyelash extensions fall out they fall individually and don't make too much of a difference. Well when mine started to fall I have huge gaps that make a huge difference. I decided to to give them a 2 start bc they have great customer service. But I feel they need better train technicians. My technician was done in about 40 mins... which will usually take about 60mins to 90 mins. I really tried giving this place a chance but I rather pay a little extra and get better quality eyelash extensions, that won't hurt my eyes. read more
