Only booked for myself but daughter decided to come with me, they accommodated her very easily. I Had a lot to do for my hair, root touch up for gray hair, wanted partial highlights & haircut & flat iron my naturally curly hair. Only if I could give negative starts! 1. Even after taking appointment, they typically do not respect the time and make us wait. 2. Horrible job done on my child's hair, Cindy cut it so short even after telling her exactly what we wanted. Not only it's short, it's uneven Okay both sides!!! I am not going to trust with scissors in her hand! 3. I saw them reusing the comb from previous client so I had to ask her to use a clean comb. Very poor hygiene 4. I love it!!! I booked an appointment the same day, and they sat me right away. Cindy was my main stylist and she made sure to get my hair exactly the same color I wanted. The whole process took around 2 and a half to 3 hours and they were incredibly patient. They didn't skip around in order to make the process go faster. My family has been coming to BB hair salon for years. Lucy always takes great care of us. I highly recommend Lucy and BB for coloring. On my last visit, I showed her some pictures of what I wanted, and she came up with suggestions and walked me through what she was going to do. This was my first time getting highlights ever and Lucy did an amazing job! I had dyed my hair with demi-permanent black hair dye but it turned out too black and bland for my liking. I wanted to lighten my hair up a bit for the warmer seasons. I explained what I was looking for to Lucy and showed her a few pictures of what I was aiming for and she did just that. She gave me subtle chocolate brown highlights, which is what I exactly wanted! I'm so happy with how it turned out. Hooray Asian hair salons. Your Asian friends may attest that they need to go to Asian salons because Asian hair is different. I have blindly followed their advice (and frankly, these types of salons are generally very reasonably priced) and normally go to one of these types of salons once a year or so to get my hair trimmed. I stumbled upon this salon by chance because I ate at the Japanese restaurant next door. The haircut prices were reasonable, $15+ for women's (I think mine was $20 since my hair was so long). I didn't get a shower or head message though. Lady was nice. She was actually Chinese so we briefly chatted. read more

My daughter and I were in dire need of a haircut, and after having issues with our previous hair salon, we decided to try a new place. I found BB hair Salon on Yelp and am so glad I came here - I had my hair cut by Lucy and my daughter got her hair cut by Cindy and both ladies did a FANTASTIC job! Lucy was patient, listened to my requests, and gave some suggestions when I wasn't quite sure what I wanted done with my hair. I've never had a short A-Line lob before and she cut my hair perfectly. She was fast, efficient, and was very easy to talk to. Cindy was also very patient with my young daughter who was giving a very detailed of what she wanted, and didn't want, for her haircut. My daughter usually hates getting her hair cut, but sat through without complaints at all. The salon was very clean and both ladies wore masks the entire time we were there. I've been coming to Bebe hair salon for more than 5 years. It is the BEST hair salon that I have ever been to. Of course, I ONLY have the owner, Lucy, do my hair. I get highlights and cuts. And occasional body wave perms. Lucy is THE best highlighter I have ever had. She has great attention to detail and doesn't rush through the process. And once I needed my hair done and it was right before they closed, but she still did it and it was fantastic. Just came back from visiting and meeting Lucy for the first time! Was recommended by my friend who has been going to see her for years! I have long hair separation anxiety - hate going to hair salons and coming out feeling like I am back to square one for trying to grow out my hair again! Lucy was super nice and did exactly what I asked - keep the length as much as you can and trim the split ends only! She really did listen!! My hair looks healthier with slight trim but barely noticeable = what I wanted! Hard to find a hairstylist who will listen to what the customers want.. So glad I went to her! I came in wanting to add layers to my limpy hair. Cindy worked her magic and brought my hair back to life. She didn't wash or style it but thats ok with me! I was in a rush and just wanted a hair cut. I never have time to pamper myself so visiting a local salon to freshen up my hair was all I really wanted. Cindy was so sweet, she made sure I like the layers before she was done. I only had to ask her to cut the top layer a little shorter once and she did it perfectly. She understood what I wanted and made it happen. What was great she kept so much of the volume in the hair. She cut my hair with care and with quickness, I was in and out of that salon within 20 mins lol. On top of all of that, I only spent $26 ($20 + $6 tip). I styled my hair at home to get an idea of how I should style it in the morning for work and it looks so amazing. So much bounce and life to it now. Disclaimer: I am not picky at all when it comes to cutting my hair. To be honest, I feel like its really hard for a stylist to mess up on a simple layering cut. I had a horrible experience. The place was so.hot. It was in the 90's here in the Bay Area. I almost passed out in the chair. I told the stylist and she said that the owner won't allow her to.turn the air conditioning on because.she always forgets to turn it off. I told her.that I was going to pass out. She put a tiny portable fan in front of me which only circulated the hot air. I couldn't leave the place fast enough. I left with a migraine from overheating. Don't go here on hot days. Really sad that I got a bad haircut at this place with so many good reviews. I tried to schedule with Peter because of the reviews but was told I could come in and anyone can do my hair. My long hair that was two thirds down my back is now a messy choppy uneven layered cut past my shoulders. The gentleman who cut my hair was very nice bit his scissors kept jamming and I just don't think he knows how to work with thick Asian hair. I have a light beard and asked her to just clean the chin area. All the other salons I go to never charge a dime. I don't mind paying but have a right to know how much will I be charged for it. iF I COULD RATE IT NEGATIVE/MINUS 10 STARS I WOULD I came in last Sunday desperate to get my hair colored. I asked first if they could do one color for me and the owner and the assistant both said yes. I asked how much and they wouldn't tell me until I chose a color. I chose a color and they said $70 and I'm like ok how about $65? They said ok but continued to be unhappy with the amount. I finally said okay $70. I wanted them to do a good job ohn my hair. I was nervous as this is a new place for me. So the assistant proceeds to color my hair. I chose a "dirty blonde color" I chose a number that matches the color. My color turned RED it was horrible. I was soo unhappy. This is not what I asked for. She said she's sorry that I don't like my hair. DO NOT GO THERE!! These people do NOT know anything about COLOR. I'll never never go there again. They still charged me $70and did not ask me if they could change or fix my hair. I FEEL SOOO RIPPED OFF. I'm filing a claim with the better business bureau. Very sad. :( read more

thi5s place is awful! i took my mom there yesterday so that we could both get our hair colored. my mom wanted her whole head colored. i was coloring only the front. so from the beginning the owner was kinda moody and had a attitude as if she didnt want to be bothered...so i felt sort of intimidated by her so i told her the color we wanted and she told me it would be $50.00 for me and $70.00 for my mother. we agreed . the owner lucy told her worker to start on my hair. from the beginning they did not know what they were doing. there was alot of guessing and figuring out. the lady working on my hair did not have a clue what to do. the owner kept trying to show her and was yelling at her right in front of me. thats not it! they are not clean at all! they would be working on these other customer heads and without changing gloves or washing there hands they would just start working on the next person head. i had to ask her to wash her hands after she stopped and ate some food then tried to put her dirty hand back in my hair. after coloring my moms hair for 2 hours the were finished. which wasnt the right color and they missed spots in her hair. to top that off they chargered her more then 70.00 dolloars which was the agreef price. i was still there getting experimented on. they took 3 and a half hours to color only the front of my hair because the kept messing up. when they finally finished and i looked at my hair. it was aweful it was 3 different colors and not one was the color i ask for. so i told them that hair was not the right color. so she got very upset because she said she was using too much of her supplies. she had to put more color on my hair to fix it i was there 4 hours and the coloring wss still wrong. then i got ready to pay the $50.00 like we agreed in the beginning. and the owner told me she has to charge me for the extra color and supplies they used because they couldn't get the color right. i told them that it wasnt my fault they didnt know how to get the color red and kept messing up.. so she got mad and told me not to come back. i was so shocked and confused! i could not believe that a business owner could be so unprofessional! i was so upset i actually cried. i just paid and got out of there. the worst salon everrrr! plus while we were there we saw the owner give this guy the worst hair cut ever.. read more

I am probably one of the pickiest person you will ever meet when it comes to hair. I want it dyed a particular way, cut a certain length, yadayadayada. But this place, even though the image on the outside isnt all too great to the eyes, and inside is the most asian hair salon you can imagine, they do a great job for the price. I normally just come here for root touch ups and an occasional trim on my ends and eyebrow waxings. ASK FOR LUCY!! She has been my stylist for the past...at least 5-6 years along with my family and my friends who i referred. Actually, alot of people ask where i go to get my hair done and i refer them to her. Full highlights which includes bleach, dye, and toning afterwards for $65?! you're not going to find that anywhere else! Lucy is the sweetest hair stylist too!
