Not sure what's going on here. The food & service has always been pretty good. Not tonight, We ordered a take out x 3 people. Total bill $38.10, not a lot I get it, but hey for me $40.00 dollars is $40.00 .See the attached photo, hamburger I would call burnt. I called to see what we could do & the attitude was like hey what do you expect, it's Friday night. Wings were fantastic, the salad was good, drinks were strong, but the service was outstanding! We were from out of town and walked in at 10:20pm, and when we asked what time they close, they told us 11:00pm, but to come on in as we have plenty of time. Having been in the business myself for 6 years, that sort of hospitable attitude is rare to come by! Our server was very kind and kept checking on us. She made a recommendation on a salad for me. As my buddy was ordering his wings, I checked into Yelp and got a notice that I earned a free appetizer under $7. She saw my screen and helped us pick the best app there was for under $7! Shockingly, she even told us as checkout that she checked to make sure the app was removed for us, and it was. I will definitely be coming back here with future visits to Apopka! read more

Gross. Disgusting urine smell. Overpriced. Dirty floors.

We don't get to go there very often, but the last two times we went to the one on 524 in Cocoa, we have gotten excellent service. Both times we got a new employee waiting on us, and other than them telling us they were new, you couldn't tell them from the seasoned employees. The manager does a great job hiring people. And he even shows the amazing service along side of his staff. Kudos to every one of the employees there, from the kitchen staff for making delicious food, to the ones on the floor dealing with all of the customers. Beef O'Brady's new 2 for $20 menu FEATURING steak... really? We went there SPECIFICALLY for the new promotion. Very disappointed to say the least. The steak- sirloin- 6 oz. was a "steak medallion". It was tough and flavorless. I get Outback's 6oz sirloin all the time- 100% better. Beef's does have some good items and good service but this item isn't one of them. Don't be fooled by the pictures in the menu. It's not even close to that size. And upon questioning the size, I was told- all are weighed in advance and the owner wouldn't even come to address the issue. A shame, really. I have been a customer there for quite a while but it will be a while before I return unfortunately. read more

The wait staff here is so nice and always get my order right. The nostalgia and calm environment alone is enough to come and eat here.

Every time my family visits here, it"s all so delicious. We go here at least 4-5 times a month. The wings are the best, the Rueben, Burgers and Fajitas are the best you'll find in Apopka all priced just right. We gave the fried pickles a try and they were so good. Good neighborhood bar/restaurant: We made a habit of going to this Beef's several times in the first few months we lived in the area. The food is good and it's an easy place to run up and grab a bite. Food is decent, inexpensive and service is what you would expect at this type of establishment. Nothing fancy, but good food. They have plenty of TVs around to watch the game and happy hour specials. I usually end up getting the Garlic Melt Sandwich but recently tried the steak sandwich and it was really tasty with melted provolone cheese and mushrooms. read more

Just recently moved to Florida. Searching for a decent place to take family and friends too when they visit. Beef O'Bradys is NOT the place. Corporate even handled incident poorly. Sure they called and blew smoke up my end. Even after I left a message on CEO machine. They don't need the business. I would have found another location to try. But after the poor handling of manager at location, then by corporate. I don't need them. There are too many restaurants in the area. I don't need to frequent their establishment. And neither do you. Go elsewhere. read more

Let's start with the great service we always get here. This time with Bobbi was no different. She greeted us when we arrived and checks on us frequently. She takes the time to tell us about things on the menu, too. We ordered Sweet jalapeños flavored wings since it's Wednesday wing day @ $.99 a wing, they were so delicious. We then shared the Philly cheesesteak on a hoagie. The steak was seasoned perfectly and the sandwich was one of the best in this area. I used to go to this place back when my kids were in youth hockey and I really didn't care for it. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was low key. The last couple of years has been a complete turnaround from how I previously felt. I went last year to a watch a Wild game and really had a good time. The food had really gotten better and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. I went again to a football game and had a blast. I was amazed at how much fun everyone was having. The owner was out mingling and was really appreciative of the patronage. The giveaways were the icing on the cake. Also, the food was noticeably better than when I was there years ago. Went again this afternoon (and dragged my wife along... she was reluctant as she remembered the hockey days too....) to watch the Vikings game and the crowd was loud and fun! The owner and the wait staff really made us feel welcome and seemed genuinely happy that we were there. My wife was impressed with the experience too. She thought the $10 menu they had was awesome and a great value. The drawings after a Vikings score made it really fun! Too bad we lost! LOL still a great time and I would recommend checking them out if you haven't in awhile. read more

I just ate at this restaurant and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I was there specifically to have a beer or two, eat dinner and watch the Stanley cup finals game. The food was good however the customer service was maybe the worst I've ever had. To begin with, there was 1 tv out of about 50 I'm guessing with the game on so I choose a booth where I would have a good view of the game. The second period was coming to an end and the family 2 booths up asked to watch the cfl football game. When I noticed that their server was changing the one tv that had the Stanley cup game on I spoke up and said "hey, I'm watching that. Please don't change it as it's the only tv in here with the game on." The server responded with a laugh and said verbatim "oh please, you weren't watching that" and proceeded to laugh. She didn't think at all to change one of the other TVs to make me satisfied and just walked off. I was considering staying for the 3rd period and thought I would just go home as I was pretty rattled by this point. I called the store on my way home and asked to speak with a manager. I explained my view, she said she would find out who it was but didn't provide a solution. I then proceeded to say that she's going to lose a customer over this and said she's ok with losing a customer over a tv channel. I then proceeded to say, that's not how you handle this situation. What you should've said is you'll make it right by offering to have me back and offering me something as I'm clearly upset over this. I then asked to speak with a manager who will actually help me and she told me she was the manager and even the owner will agree with her answer as they have many more customers who enjoy their food and service. Appalled by the comment, I told her I would then call corporate and she responded smirking over the phone "good luck. We're not corporate." How in the world is this ok?! Ok- I usually don't do this for chains. I just don't...only because I can not constantly write negative reviews without forcing myself on an antidepressant. I stopped by at the bar for a quick lunch. The place is your typical Beef's and I kinda expected the typical below average bar cuisine. These folks served me up the best fish tacos I have ever had and believe me, I eat fish tacos everywhere I go - from Miami to San Diego...as it is my "go to" lunch when I am traveling. I bet I have ordered this item 12,738 times in my lifetime. Hands down- the best! Grilled, fresh, white fish that was hanging out of both ends of the fresh, soft taco. Delicious fresh slaw and a light coating of sauce that didn't drown the fish, made these the best tacos I have ever had. Hats off!! I would have never thought! If you like fish tacos, you have to try them here. I'm hooked....(sorry). read more

VERY DISSAPOINTED during my last visit at Saint Cloud location, we ordered chicken wings and received re-heated over cooked horrible taste order. I'm a "regular" at this Beef 'O' Brady's. The layout is nice and decor very appealing lending to the sports bar theme. The service is very good. Here are my criteria that determine service quality: -- whether the drinks get refilled promptly (shows the server is keeping an eye on the table for needs) -- menu knowledge (a server who knows the menu, and can answer every question about it is an indicator that this person likes their job and will DO a better job) -- Comes back to table often to check on things -- Friendly -- Clears the table (or has it cleared) promptly -- Brings the check promptly The food came quite quickly with the overall taste being consistently good to very good. Serving size is pretty much the same as similar restaurants, and is enough to either fill you up or make you content. Many patrons, will come just for the wings and wide selection of beers. Overall, the prices are very competitive allowing for a relatively inexpensive dining experience. Being a sports bar, there are a lot of TV's scattered around. The picture quality of the big screen TV's is better than other sports bars, and the volume levels are just right, enabling easy conversations without shouting. I also like that this is a family oriented sports bar...it's never "over the top" with adult references, making it inviting (and non-offensive) to children and their parents. The bar area is pretty small, and you can tell the focus is on the restaurant side, which I liked. If I were to go go to hang out with the gang, having a few drinks and watching some games on the screen, I would most likely go to another sports bar, but if I wanted to have a pleasing meal in a comfortable atmosphere Beef O'Brady's is hard to beat. read more

Ok, so I get this is a family chain and it close to residential areas, however, why is that ever time I go there the booth or table next to me includes a gaggle of kids jumping and playing to a level that disturbs other patrons? For the food, I have never been impressed. Been coming here 2-3 timer per year since they opened but think last night was probably my last trip. Its basically one step above frozen chicken nuggets and wings. Basically, there is nothing here that begs me to return. Got to this restaurant on a Monday night for their special "build your own burger". Arrived and were seated at a table with our beer but had to wait almost an hour for our food to be delivered. The waitress was apologetic as we know the kitchen was backed up but this wait was unacceptable. When the food arrived, my burger was incorrect but as I was already starving, I attempted to eat it. When I alerted the waitress, she offered to help on our next visit but she should have offered to make it correct right there. I don't anticipate revisiting again after this visit, it was such a disappointing and frustrating evening. read more

Ordered $50 worth of food to go, and fortunately my order was the only one that suffered. I got 18 boneless wings HOT and they are so overcooked and dry that I had to add my own sauce to give them flavor. I've had their boneless wings before, and even ordered them in multiple sets of different flavors for superbowl parties. I was blown away by the flavor and sauce coverage on them. These were not the same wings. Now I don't know if it's because I ordered food within the last hour of closing time, or maybe there's a different cook since the last time, but regardless, who ever was in charge of expediting and food quality either didn't look at these, or doesn't care about the final product. Because I'm a huge fan of Beef's, I'll continue to dine there. I will certainly look at my to go orders before I walk out the door. Shame on me. read more

Update 4/20/2012: So there have been quite a few changes to Beef's and all for the better. Apparently, the owner of beef's saw my review and sent me a message through yelp asking me to come back out an try there new menu. Have to say... I was impressed. Both by the food and the fact that the owner took the time to contact me. The menu is much larger than before and included some interesting items. We ordered the "pub chips" aka "tailgate chips" which are homemade potato chips with cheese and bacon. These were very good! I ordered the pretzel roll sliders and my wife got wings. The pretzel roll on the sliders was very good. Beef's put up a nice cover over the patio out front. It makes the restaurant look nicer and appear larger. They now have a full liquor bar (which I don't believe they did before). I have to say beef's definitely impressed me and we will visiting them more often. Original review: I have been to this Beef's several times. They are a decent sport's bar. Food is mainly burgers, wings, sandwiches, etc. To me the food is always just okay. I usually get the wings, which are decent. Service has never been bad when I have gone. Waitstaff is attentive and are friendly. For me, there is nothing that really jumps out on there menu. The wings are good, but I like Froggers/Gator's Dockside's wings better. I feel like a lot of the food is just mediocre. Given the number of similar type of places in the close area (i.e. frogger's, gator's dockside) I don't find myself going here often. Although, I wish I liked there food better as I think there service is better than other sports bars in the area. read more

Beef 'O' Brady's - Burger monday - American Near Me - Apopka, Florida

I have lived in Apopka for 8 years, this was my first experience with this restaurant. I was intrigued to try it out after seeing its 4 star rating, more recently several 5 star reviews. We arrived Saturday night at 5:30. We heard a shout from somewhere to pick a table. We had to walk around the entire place, passing up over 5 dirty tables, to finally find a clean one. I also noticed that it did not smell the freshest, sulfury. The place wax pretty empty at the time. My inner self told me to RUN! Never a good sign. The wait staff was reasonably nice. Drinks came fast and the food was good, not great. My friend really enjoyed her cheeseburger, even though it wasn't exactly what she had ordered. I tried the fish and chips, as it was labeled one its specialties. The batter was light, yet oily. The coleslaw was nothing special, tasted like the stuff you buy at a grocery store. Overall, I am not sure how this place gets high marks. Perhaps they please the happy hour guests. The place was packed by 6:30. Unfortunately, I do not have any desire to return. read more

Beef's is probably the best choice for sports bar in Apopka. Obviously, all we have here is chains and I think Beef's is the best, for a few reasons. First, the food is marginally better than the Chili's and Applebee's of the world - typical fried pub grub, but definitely tastes less frozen than the competition. An expansive menu with food for every taste, and they even dare to offer a few pizzas. While a lot of sports bar have pizza, it is usually there to appease people who for some reason think a place that specializes in chicken wings and mozzarella sticks will somehow have good pizza. I haven't eaten it at Beef's but have heard from multiple people that it makes the cut, so kudos to them for that. The service is pretty good in my experience - it isn't a 'breastaurant' but they definitely work the pretty girl angle with the waitstaff. I haven't been in around a year or so but I'd assume this is still the case. Any way, this would be three stars because it is hard to rate an average sports bar more than that. That being said, the owner/manager/whatever deserves a thumbs up for the craft beer program - I'd assume it is up to a franchisee what beer to offer, and he/she wisely chose to capitalize on the growing craft beer trend and offer a pretty damn good beer list (and it is INCREDIBLE for Apopka). According to their website, they have a Ballast Point on tap. That sure is rare in Apopka, considering when you go to Chili's they look at you like you have four heads if you dare ask for a Sierra Nevada. Rant about craft beer over, but if I ever find myself going out to a sports bar in Apopka again it will be to Beef's based on that alone. read more

Tried to stop by for a quick cocktail and a bite before the crowds arrived for St. Patrick's day. Ordered one beer from one server, received the wrong beer from another server, pointed this out to the original server, received correct beer from third server. Passed on ordering anything else given the poor start. I would love to say this was due to being very busy, however there were no more customers present than an average Friday @ 5. Food is always good here, service is always sub-par. read more
