I just leased my 2nd car from Bell Honda after turning my last lease in that I had for 3 years. Both times were a smooth process and they offered me a GREAT deal both times without a ton of pressure. I went in knowing what I wanted and they got it for me. JJ and Steven took care of me and worked hard to make sure I wasn't there all day and that everything went smooth. I would recommend Bell Honda to friends/family! UPDATE: A few days later I received multiple phone calls and voicemails from multiple people telling me I had to go back in. They were very assertive in the voicemails about getting me back in there (and it was Christmas, by the way). It all seemed strange to me. I had the car, they had the paperwork and my down-payment so why did they need me to come back in? Well I went back in and he tried to tell me that the paperwork I signed wasn't reflecting the correct residual cost (different than what the first few voicemails I received about me needing to sign an "odometer disclosure") and that my monthly payment would be going up. I said "no" right away and they had me resign the paperwork that just reflected a lower residual cost at the end but still the same payment. In the end everything was fine. The whole thing just seemed very strange and the multiple people I talked to definitely didn't have stories that added up. It worked out fine in the end because I said "no", but some people may not be as assertive and would then agree to their payments going up. We still had a decent experience to begin with, but this definitely seemed fishy to me. read more

Worst customer service! Wow! Unbelievable with what their stuff handle their work! They had no responsible at all, they would tell you this and an hour later they will said they can't do it. So, I called from California for a car. The front desk person and the person first person I spoke to were nice, but their director or whatever was extremely rude! I believe his name is Brandon. I was trying to buy a car from them under a dealship license. First of all, I understand that they wont get commission from selling as a dealer to dealer, so properly they wouldnt want to do what we told (like check on the paint, etc). When I asked him to check the paint and to make sure the car has never been in accident; he responded by "I won't do anything like that, you buy as a dealership and you make profit, why do you expect me to do any work for you? I won't do it". Okay this part I understand because it might be a lot of work for him. An hour later my brother him and left a message, but he didnt call back. So I called again and he said "if I picked up your phone why do you think I dont pick up your brother?" Then I just went straight to ask about deposit money for the car. But something unexpected words from him "No i wont do any deposit, there are no such thing as no refundable deposit. You guy make money and expected us to hold the car for you..." (a lot more than that but i dont want to go on) So we decided to just call again and talked with other sale person which is of course nicer than that Brandon guy. We talked and made a deal and my brother bought the ticket for next day flight from CA to AZ! We talked to the salesperson around 4pm, but I received a phone call at 10pm saying that "the car has been sold". My brother called to back to the person who he spoke to in the evening, he told him that the car was still there before he left from work! But a few minutes latet that guy called back and told him that they cant sell us for the price we offer them (but they already agreed with the price in the evening). We were mad and we just wasted $250 for the flight ticket! More importantly, we definitely lost trust from them. They are irresponsible and unworthy of trust. They accommodated me allowing me many favors I couldn't imagine any other business giving me honoring contracts despite my ineligibility due to time past and gave me complementary coverage on parts and maintenance beyond what I asked for. If I could give negative stars I would. First off, we have a 2017 Honda CRV EXL 1.5 turbo. Our car broke down June 2nd. Had the car towed to Bell Honda which was the closest dealership. Horrible customer service. My husband wanted to know what his next steps were on how we could get the car fixed. One of the sales person looked at him and said well if that one broke down do you want to buy a new one? Really who does that. Then he spoke with the sales manager who couldn't do anything and told my husband to Uber it home. Thanks Cable that was nice of you to say. We went in the next day spoke with the service department because no one told us that there was a drop box out front where the service department was, go figure. Q was really an awesome guy very helpful and he was able to resolve our issue with our car. Luckily it was just the battery. Spoke with the GM and address our concerns. He gave us a free oil change. Great, wonderful. On 6/19/19 my husband took the car in for the oil change, plus transmission fluid flush and brake fluid flush. Which was needed. My husband brought the car back to me, since I was a work and this is our only vehicle. I proceeded to drive the car and noticed a funny smell, like fumes, gas, something unpleasant. Today 6/24/19 we noticed that the check oil level light kept going on and off on the car. My husband took it to the dealership and it smelled bad. Wouldn't you know they forgot to put the oils cap back on. Like who the heck does that??????? Who forgets to put the oils cap back on????? My engine could have seized. After talking to my father who used to work on cars he said that there might be other issues with it now because for the fact that my oil level was low and spitting everywhere. I'm beside myself. I will be calling Honda Manufacturer to file a complaint along with the regional manager. This is unacceptable. What happens if my engine stops working because of their negligence? Literally every experience I've had at this location is terrible. Most recently I brought my car in because the check engine light came on. I took it to Autozone first and they were able to tell me in 2 minutes what the engine light code was showing. Followed up with an appointment at this dealership waited an hour and forty minutes before I got up and asked for an update. After an hour and forty minutes they told me the same exact thing that Autozone told me. I asked them why it took that long to do exactly what was done in 2 minutes and they couldn't give me an answer. This is an example of every experience I've had here and I will not be coming back. The staff is rude, the wait is ridiculous for absolutely no reason, they over charge and its just overall a terrible experience and environment. read more

Second if you have a lot of time throughout the year to keep taking your car in for recalls and random maintenance you definitely don't need, then your in luck. Because bell Honda and the Honda brand will waste large amounts of your time and money recalling your car at least 8-10 times a year. Don't believe me ask anyone else whose had the unfortunate experience of buying from this brand. The vehicle selection is disappointing the salesman are not only pushy but extremely aggressive with you telling you YOU don't know anything and that your making a mistake not buying their overpriced recall vehicle. It's been 2 years since Bell Honda unethically and probably illegally took out a loan in my name for a car we ended up not purchasing from them. They continue to call me on a near daily basis, asking to talk to me about "my Toyota 4Runner," in what I assume is an attempt to lure me in to trade it in on a different car. Again, this vehicle was not purchased by me and they took out a loan for it, even though I voided our conditional contract (in writing) before leaving the premises. I was just there 4-12-19 to help my Mom pick up her vehicle from the service center, her service advisor is your typical salesman in disguise. Brenden Dearie was not at all transparent and due to the fact he roped my Mom into stuff she had no idea about, I had to get involved and explain to him that the price quoted was not anywhere near the price he presented to us. After repeated suggestions to get the service manager involved he kept deflecting saying he was already giving her a great deal. Of course I had to pay due to the work already being completed. If there is a next time going back for service at this place, hopefully my Mom will get an actual transparent service advisor who isn't just trying to squeeze money out of an old lady. read more

My husband and I purchased a car from Bell Honda a few months back. We had come in with an approval letter for $20k from a credit union, bought a car for $24k and put down alittle under $5k as a down payment. Our credit union then called us and said we can't get the loan unless we used the full $20k which is fine, we just needed the dealer to refund enough down payment to make it to where we used the whole credit union loan. Before we could even call Bell Honda to settle the situation and be partially refunded, they, Bell Honda, ran our credit through Chase and then offered us a loan through Chase instead. We ultimately still went with our credit union loan but now I have ANOTHER hard inquiry on my credit from a loan application I didn't consent to. We had a loan walking in to Bell Honda and did not consent to have the dealership apply to another loan on our behalf. The fact that action was taken without speaking to us first, and with non-consent, is so incredibly unprofessional. Left work early to come back the next day to take a look at them and one was in poor condition and the other truck had sold the day I went in to look at it. We definitely didn't need to have the newest car but when you put the numbers together the way that she laid it out for us it was by far the better offer. She seriously knew her numbers and also was very educated about the vehicles and different models. We had our 1 and 4 year old with us and she was also very patient and considerate of tired little ones in the buying process. She didn't rush us or try and force us to close on a deal. It was literally like having a friend take you car shopping who only wanted you to get the best for your money. And again the rest of the team was absolutely awesome I had a gentlemen walk me vehicle to vehicle to see if I liked anything. The manager came and dropped tons of knowledge on me and my husband about buying a car that fits our needs. And it was definitely a learning experience not a "sales trap". I worked as a GM for a gym so I know what that sounds and looks like. Again everyone was really generous and helpful. And our finance guy was absolutely awesome, he helped us sign everything off. We were there late but he still treated us like it was the start of the day. You're probably not going to like this place if you hate being upsold or talked down to. I've given this place two visits now and each time have left feeling robbed. I called this most recent time for a standard oil change (usually $50 with an inspection, of which I have received three times before), instead am told it's $80 (luckily I told them I don't want my tires balanced which saved me $15). When I called to make an appointment, I specifically requested an oil change, no more, no less. But upon arriving, I was put in the awkward situation of having to say no and was basically guilt-ed into more than I asked for. Their technicians are sexist and assume the worst. Just because I'm a woman does not mean that I don't know what a timing belt is, and yet when asked if I know what it is (I replied yes since I've replaced my own but no longer have the time or space to do so), the technician still talked down on me in his explanation ("it's like a giant rubber band"). This is not the first time something like this has happened as my previous technician talked down on me in a similar way. The only upside to this place is the 3 mile drive to work, however they take so long that the convenience is wiped out since I never can drop my car off before my entire lunch is used up. OHHH and they forgot to pick me up for over half an hour, I just stood on the dang corner waiting for them and then finally received a call half an hour later asking if I was still in need of a ride! If I need to take an Uber that's fine but don't make me waste even more time waiting for you. The young man who picked me up (Que ?) was the only thing pleasant in this place, he needs to become the boss. Sexist, money hungry, skeezy. Spend your money and time elsewhere. read more

Most people don't like car dealerships and their service centers but there's always an exception. Today I have to give a S/O to Bell Honda. Not too often I praise a dealership but really deserve this one. I actually bought a car for my son last Memorial Day. I talked with Robert Garcia over email and phone trying to get the car I wanted. Also, got a deal using True Car. Guaranteed price. Woo hoo. Since, I couldn't come in til Monday Robert hide my car (black on black) until I could get in. Very easy when I came in on Monday to purchase. Just had to wait a long time for the Finance guys to write me up. While we were waiting, Robert even went outside to help get my car ready so I didn't have to wait too long. S/O to Robert. Fast forward to today. We were getting our first oil change. Robert recommended the service advisor Bryan Stevens. We made an appointment for mid-early Saturday. Met Bryan and we needed an oil change and tire rotate. Had a coupon for oil change for $33 but Bryan informed us since we bought the car here that the first oil change is $5. Woo hoo. Have to give S/O to Bryan cause he could have just taken the coupon and not told us about the first oil change. Can you say integrity. Thank you. In the meantime, Bryan noticed we had a chip on our windshield and that Bell Honda could take care of. It would be free cause of my insurance. So Bryan told us it would take an hour and 10 minutes for oil change, tire rotate, and wash. So while we were waiting we got together with the window replacement guy. Within a half hour Bryan comes to us and says the car is done and washed. What? Less than an hour. 30 minutes. Unheard of. Anyways got out of there in under thirty minutes with a oil change, tire rotate, wash, and an mobile windshield replacement for $17. Woo hoo. Unbelievable. So S/O to my salesman Robert Garcia and my service advisor Bryan Stevens. Again I have no problem using either one of these guys for a new car or service. I will be back and recommend you use Robert for a new car and Bryan for service. They are the best. Bell Honda you should give them a raise or something cause this is what you call great service and integrity. read more
