I come here from San Jose for one thing and one thing only and it's the red velvet pancakes! So delicious and fluffy! Also their French Toast has been delicious every time we ordered. I would definitely recommend more of their sweeter breakfast items. The classic Eggs Benedict was ok. Great little place to go! This is one of those hidden gem restaurants. Although it's not really hidden, it is a gem! We have been going here for years and have been enjoying the food and service ever since our first visit. The people are super friendly and the food is delicious! My daughter usually orders the pulled pork sandwich with home made potato chips. She says the pork is juicy and very flavorful! The bbq sauce on the sandwich is tangy, sweet and tasty! She lives this sandwich! My lovely wife had the chicken salad and she loved it. Fresh tender juicy chicken with cranberries, celery, little onions and some mayo for binding. Very delicious! My mom loved the pulled pork sandwich and thought the place was wonderful! I had the turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich with home made potato chips. Won't be coming back. Food tasted bland. And the service was horrible. At one point the server raised his voice to my son. No water served throughout the meal. No return to ask how we are doing. Reliable brunch spot in downtown Saratoga! We came here around 11 on a Saturday and were able to be seated immediately. I would recommend sitting in the patio since the ambiance is nicer than inside. We got the red velvet waffles and the turkey breakfast sandwich. The waffles went very well with the fresh berries and whipped cream. With dog friendly (covered) patio seating, my husband, our little girl and I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 1:25 pm. After browsing the menu, we ended up ordering: (Please note the current Yelp check in offer: 10% off total purchase) Salad & Sandwich Combo Lunch, $12.50 prior to tax- I ended up ordering Nutty Turkey Salad Sandwich & Baby Spinach Salad. I was surprised with the portion of both the half sandwich and salad. The spinach salad was fresh and the apple slices added a nice texture and sweetness. I liked the walnuts in this salad. I had asked for my salad dressing to be placed on the side and omit the cheese, which is how it arrived. For the sandwich, I really liked the filling, which comprised of shredded turkey, cranberries, walnuts, almonds, diced onions, celery that is mixed with in house made mayonnaise. Definitely creamy, flavorful, nutty and has a nice hint of sweetness from the dried cranberries. French Toast, $10.50 prior to tax- My husband decided to order this, which came with 4 half slices and sliced strawberries in a sauce. I had a bite of his entree and liked the fluffiness of the French toast. We had our dirty dishes taken away at the end of the meal and had our water glasses refilled once (towards the end of the meal). I liked my food and really liked that our little girl dog could sit outside with us. But the seating is small, meaning that you are right next to the party of people eating (good thing we were between 2 parties that seem to really love dogs). There are restrooms outside, just a short walk down the way. The ladies restroom was clean upon this visit. We had done a Sunday Funday at Hakone Gardens and were looking for a nearby brunch spot with friends. Found Bell Tower on Yelp, and as it was nearby, we called to see what the wait was like. Quoted 10-15 minutes, so we headed over. Ended up being a 25-ish minute wait, but worth it for the adorable shaded patio seating (perfect for an 88° day). Started with the Guava Peach Mimosa- why would you get regular when this is a flavor?! Note: $2 more for this drink in a larger wine glass rather than the small champagne flute- go big or go home (trust me, I made the mistake of the smaller serving, and am now regretting it)! Had a hard time choosing between the Churro Waffle and the Red Velvet Waffle. Ultimately, let my toddler choose for the 2 of us, and we went with the latter. This only comes with one single waffle- which was plenty- and we got a side egg order because protein, ya know? Delicious, came with bluebs and strawbs under some fresh whipped cream. The waiter made quite an impression on our little one, and he gave him a hug at the end of our meal, which resulted in a free cookie to take home, compliments of the staff. Very thoughtful! I was worried that it would be too sweet, but it ended up actually being a perfect amount, not being overly sweet and being just as sweet as regular pancakes with syrup. There is some cream frosting and berries as well topped with some powdered sugar. PRO TIP: There is street parking in front of it which will prob be full so park in FREE PUBLIC PARKING LOT ACROSS FROM IT! + practically no wait time, we brought our pup so we requested outdoor seating and waited maybe 10 minutes or less which was great! + dog friendly, they even had a bowl of water out :) + loved their outdoor patio seating area (there were a couple flies but overall really nice so sit outside if you can) + lovely entrance with an archway covered in leaves + they have specials including the churro waffle which I got, very filling! Finally made it to Bell Tower. I had the break burrito not the biggest one. It was so good and filling I could only eat half. My husband had the breakfast sandwich which he enjoyed. Where to begin? They're overstaffed at the front of the house to the point of utter confusion. A different person seats you, takes your order, brings the coffee, and brings the food. There are 2 at my table. The person serving has two hands but only brings out one plate while we can see that the other plate sits at the service window for another 15+ minutes while multiple people stare at it and move on to serve other plates. The late plate is a crab cake benedict. Most of what I see is filler. See picture. The pink bits are surimi (aka fake crab). I did not expect fake crab cakes. From what farm does fake crab meat come from if they're marketing Farm-to-Table? We're never going back. I don't understand how they have so many customers. Then again, I'm still pissed at Burger King for switching out the chicken fillet in the Tendercrisp sandwich for the current chicken patty and have never been back to any Burger Kings. If you don't remember when the BK Tendercrisp contained a real chicken patty, that was a long time ago. The table next to ours was screaming at the wait staff to put their food back on the grill to cook it some more. They're generous with the coffee and creamer pods. read more

We split the four egg Italian omelet with Italian sausage, mozzarella, mushrooms and homemade marinara. The combination was pleasurable but not out of the world. Adding to that we had two mini pancakes topped with berries. Service was great even though we were near closing. The staff made certain we were being taken care of and liked what we had. The *deep fried* breakfast burrito and (shared) churro waffle is one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. The burrito isn't huge, but it's filling and the red sauce tastes a little marinarish (that's a good thing). The churro waffle is the best waffle I ever had: tastes like a churro, crispy on the outside and soft inside, though even with the whipped cream and caramel it was very salty. I ate it too fast to take a photo of it. I recommend people sharing one in addition to their breakfast, and this has nothing to do with the fact that I own stock in an insulin provider. I wish they didn't sell Diet Coke by the can, but bonus for having a bunch of condiments at the table, friendly servers, a check-in bonus, and having the nice downtown Saratoga location. The avocado toast is a "fixer-upper" dish: first, the bread needs to be toasted. I almost asked for Bill Tower himself to remind him that "Toast" is in the name. So, ask for yours well-done, and ask for a lemon or lime wedge for the juice. Second, instead of the olive oil drizzle (unnecessary on a naturally fatty, creamy food), ask for it buttered. I stopped in to the Bell Tower Café this morning around 9:00. There were a few steps up to the front door. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that there are two more steps INSIDE the front door. After almost taking a tumble, I was hospitably greeted and given an option of tables from which to choose. I was handed a menu and asked if I would like something to drink. Hot tea was delivered to my table within a minute. I ordered an omelette, which came with hash browns and toast. I wasn't paying much attention to the time, but the food was delivered to my table much sooner than I had anticipated. It was hot and delicious! The environment in the restaurant was pleasant. The food was superb. What stood out for me most, however, was the exceptional service. My server was definitely more attentive than what I have come to expect in a restaurant.
