I have ordered from here many times and have ALWAYS been able to call to request light cheese in the pizza since there is not an option to add notes however today when I called to make the request I was told that they could not modify my order. I could understand if I was asking for an additional topping or adding an item. They claimed that the pizza was already cooking which is hard to believe since I literally called the second after I submitted the order. Crazy but I rarely order pizza here (although it's pretty good). My family's go-to is their garlic spaghetti with added meatballs or their subs. So good, great portions and delicious. You can tell the sauce isn't from a can and the meatballs aren't frozen, extra garlicky and pasta always perfectly al dente. We preordered from here because it was one of the few places that allow to actually put in a future order and we didn't want to have to deal with a wait during the game/with guests. I was a little nervous ordering from this place based on the mixed reviews, but I was happy with my order. My husband ordered a sub and a calzone along with garlic knots to share. We were happy with those. I ordered the Greek chicken salad and I found it to be flavorful, including the chicken and full of fresh vegetables and plenty of feta cheese. This little carry-out brings back so many feelings nostalgia. The fiancé and I would order from here when we first started dating, make a palate on the floor, and pig out to our hearts content. I haven't had it in years and this time we decided to eat in, for the first time because we wanted ice cream afterwards. We ordered at the counter and it took about 10 minutes for our platters to be ready. They're never stingy with the feta on the gyros and the ingredients are perfectly balanced. The fries are a little thicker than shoe string fries but still manage to be crispy. Phenomenal. I'm a fry junky, so I know what constitutes a good fry. Crispy but still able to tell it's a French fry from the soft potatoes on the inside. They have a plethora of drinks to choose from and plenty of delivery drivers on stand-by. Bella has became our go-to neighborhood pizza place. I've always done the online ordering specifying time of pick up. Our usual order of the large Meat and large Cheese have rendered good reviews. The kids love the cheese and the grown ups love the meat. The crust is thicker, but has a nice chew to it. The toppings are quality! The folks are always nice and cheerful upon picking up the pizzas. We have been ordering from Bella usually at least once a month for the past couple years. My FIL and SIL specifically ask to order stromboli from here when they come over as it is always pretty bomb. Last night I got an XL margherita pizza and although it doesn't look like the traditional margherita with the globs of cheese with sauce peeking through (there is a continuous layer of cheese which honestly my chonky American self likes better) it was so good. The sauce had great flavor to it - not too sweet with some savory notes. There was plenty of good-quality cheese on top and a sprinkle of chopped basil all over. The food was delivered in approx 35 minutes the food was nice and hot and the portions are very generous. We are excited to order again and try new items from the many offerings they have. This was a great meal, but I have some concerns. I ordered a crispy chicken sub, Buffalo wings, BBQ wings and a 2-liter Coca-Cola. I asked for extra ranch and extra ketchup, I got one ranch and no ketchup. I also asked for extra cheese on my sub, I did not get extra cheese. The wings were really good. This was our 'go-to' place for pizza and salad. Seems like prices have increased and not sure if there's always been a delivery charge of $3.99 or not. If this goes to the delivery person, then ok, but I doubt it. The person taking my order snickered when I was asking about it too! Was disappointed that 1 large 1 topping pizza and a salad was $35 delivered. Also, so sad that the Italian dressing that has always prompted a salad order, is no longer available. Amazing food! Ordered both the fresh mozzarella salad and the tuna wrap and they were delivered promptly and fresh. The mozerella salad was to die for with more than enough fresh cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and basil sprinkled on top with a balsamic dressing on the side for dipping or drizzling to your leisure. Great healthy lunch and the salads are large. The tuna wrap was delicious I was about to sub mayo for the homemade Italian dressing to try lighten calories and it was scrumptious. I inquired about adding artichoke to my salad ($1 surcharge) and they informed me they are canned artichokes. Bummer!! Other than that, my friends lunch special chicken philly cheese smelled amazing and came with fresh fries and a drink. He subbed a larger fuse iced tea bottle for a dollar extra. So we're delighted to find Bella Pizza that offers not only pizza as the name suggests, but a variety of other Italian and American comfort favorites. Online ordering is simple and easy, and there is an option to check out as guest without registering on the site. Unfortunately the website is a little out of date as we found out today that the regular burger and fries aren't listed on the online order menu. Not sure what else may be missing. Ordering via phone is great! The person who took our order was so nice -- a nice change from your typical pizza stores. It really felt like we were ordering from a family restaurant. For delivered food, it's good. Very good, in fact. Definitely a step up from my previous experiences from similar restaurants. The pizza is SO CHEESY they might as well call it cheese pie. What happened to this place? I've been living in the area and ordering from Bella's for about 5 years, but no more. Something must have happened to this location in 2017, either a management change or maybe all the good staff left, but it is not the same. I used to get delivery orders within 20-25 mins (I live very close), but the last few times it's taken an hour for my food to arrive. As a result my food is no longer hot, which is disappointing. Then most recently the driver (who I wish I could take back the tip I gave him) must have driven like a maniac because all the food was sloshed over to one side and sauce had dripped all over the bag. It's really a shame because this used to be my go-to place, but I'll be removing them from my favorites. read more

When I called to confirm they insisted they I didn't specifically say the word "special" therefore they had to charge me regular price. Decided to try this place... trying to find a good pizza/wings spot in the area. Asked them to cut my pizza into squares instead of the usual triangle slices. Who ever it was that cut the pizza at Bella... doesn't know what a square is. They cut a circle in the middle of the pizza. So it looked like a small pizza in the middle and then a 'ring' shaped pizza around the outside. Then they cut it as you would a normal pizza in triangle slices. So there are trapezoids around the outside and then tiny mini triangle slices with no crust in the middle. Didn't realise 'square' was so difficult. read more

I'm updating my review from a few years ago. During the COVID lockdown, we decided to try Bella another try. We love the online ordering feature where you can schedule your delivery time. All the food arrived hot, fresh and delicious. We have since ordered multiple times and have been very satisfied with the food and mostly satisfied with delivery (one time they came a half hour early. I understand the delivery time will not be exact. But 30 minutes was way off, thankfully traffic wasn't bad and I was home to receive it so early). They've definitely improved! read more

The staple go to restaurant for carry out in Centreville. Everything on the menu is pretty good for a non-chain pizza place in the small corner of a shopping center. The pizza is classic Italian style pizza, so if that's not your thing, order something different. I love the baked ziti- so much food! The chicken Caesar salad is so full of flavor and the dressing is on point. We order here at least once a month to break up the rut of cooking and have never been disappointed. They always say that delivery will take 45 minutes but we live so close it's here within 30. Highly recommend checking it out! read more

My family has ordered bella pizza for several years. Given that we eat pizza once a week (not always from bella), I'd assume we've eaten here 50+ times. We find that Bella pizza isn't the best pizza in town. They are very consistent though. We haven't quite found our ideal pizza location yet, but it definitely won't be bella in the long run. For me personally, that's because their sausage tastes a little funky, and I love sausage pizza, just not from Bella. We keep coming back because my wife likes their margarita pizza, but Whole Foods definitely has better pizza, and their pizza isn't amazing either. So Bella Pizza is the original pizza place that started paisano's pizza, the chain that's all over northern virginia. Because of that, I'd expect Bella to be very similar in quality to Paisano's. There is a very clear difference though, and I prefer Paisano's. Bella's online ordering works just fine, but it looks and acts like someone in college made it in 2006. It's vastly out of date. It makes me a little uncomfortable giving it my credit card information. The website also doesn't make this clear, but if you don't leave a tip on the website (as it encourages you to do), you can leave a tip in person, like a normal pizza delivery (who wants to tip before the pizza is delivered?). read more

Well I ordered two pizzas today and my heart and stomach are disheartened. Track my order said it should arrive 7-7:10. At 7:25pm the pizzas show up and they were cold.
