Got my nails done a few times from here and they're not consistent with their quality. My manicurist took 30 minutes for a gel manicure but the quality was horrible. Gel was all up under my fingernails (and cured so I couldn't go home and just take it off), and a lot of the sides of my nails have paint on them. Just a lazy job. For anyone concerned about covid- going in was fine, they had me wear hand sanitizer and then had me wear a glove to choose the color. They had shields between the manicurists and clients. CAUTION: my manicurist didn't care about covid and was doing her own nails while doing mine using THE SAME TOOLS. Same file, buffer, and clipper with no sterilization in between. read more

I came just to get a pedicure a short man came to the front and said can I help you I said yes I'd like a pedicure he goes to the back and then comes back up front and tells me they can take me tells me to go to the back towards the right as I start to walk back he says something under his breath I said excuse me and he goes we are really pushing it squeezing you in I immediately turned around and walked out that is so unprofessional if you did not have availability for today you say that when I 1st walk in I just moved to Raleigh and this place just lost a customer who would have spent a lot of money stay far far away from this place read more

The nail tech did a good job on my pedicure, but the customer service here is lacking. The spa seems clean and updated though, which is nice. Definitely one of the better places I've gone to in Raleigh, however I was barely greeted when I walked inside and the nail tech was acting as if I was such a nuisance to her meanwhile there was only 2 other customers in the entire building. It's a shame the customer service was that bad because this place has potential to be one of the best in the area! I will be giving them another shot but if I get poor service again, the search for my go-to nail spa will continue. read more

My mother and I have been going to see Kent, Kristine, and Jesney for years. Once we found out they bought Bellagio, we knew we had to follow them. Kent has done such an amazing job revamping the whole store and making it a relaxing and appealing environment! Yesterday was my time coming into the shop. I will not return. Went in for a gel powder (opi) fill-in. They seated me at a table, waited a little over 10 minutes for the guy to come to do my. I never like man doing my nails, I should have turned around then. He was rough on my nails. He just assumed what I wanted never asked. He just started cutting and trimming,I had to tell him how wanted my nails. The gel powder that was used was not opi it was a off brand called Discover gel power... Secondly, he never cleaned the towel as we transitioned to different steps. He even filled in my nails with the towel wet and covered with all fillings, smh. After this I knew this set was going to be horrible. He filled and shaped my nails unevenly. It was so bad that I just left the shop with no polish. Talk about a waste of money. read more

I have waited 3 days to write this review because I didn't want to write a review out of anger. I have never written a bad review on any service but what happened at this nail salon even days later I feel I was mistreated. I went to this nail salon because it looks beautiful, clean inside and out. They seem to stay busy, I went in for a refill on my gel nails. I was taken back right away now looking back I so wish I would have waited for someone else. She was very nice and sweet when she started my nails I wasn't asked any questions she just started I didn't think a thing after a few minutes I noticed the color gel she was using did not match my current gel color for the refill. I asked her what to do because I wanted to have a French Manicure with French most of your nail is clear with the gel color she used it looked like I still needed a refill. IT WAS AWFUL I'm not exaggerating I asked her to stop her try and fix it. That's when I realized she seemed to be unexperienced. She asked her coworker who told her she used the wrong color and that salon only uses that color gel I should have been told that when I sat down that's all they work with I would have left the salon no hard feelings after my nails where done I had to polish with a dark nail color to cover the mistake. I thought when I checked out I would be offered some kind of discount or something because I had to go somewhere else and pay to fix their mistake. The manager said to me "no you must pay full price or I will take off everything that was just done" When I asked him "if you take off the gel she just did I will be leaving with my bare nail and take the chance of my nails breaking until I can get them done currently". He didn't care he seemed to not believe me so he then said I need to look at what was done plus if you don't pay I will take off our polish. I let him remove the pinky nail once he seen what she had done he took $15 off the total. I ended up paying I still am very upset I should not have had to pay anything. It was after 8pm by this time I just wanted to go home. This salon made the mistake the manager was extremely rude and told me I had to pay for the nail tech labor. read more

I've been coming here on and off for years. I went for my first time since having a baby to get a pedicure, it was $70. I had acrylic on my big toes & I wanted French. I was relaxing when I noticed she proceeded with polish without filling in the acrylic & it was too late- now my gel polish is lumpy & it's starting to crack where the acrylic is. I also asked for my toes to be very square, which is easy because my toenails were long... they are not square. I'm extremely disappointed because I don't get time to pamper myself often and my mom comes here all the time with no issues. Definitely not worth the $70 or 2 hours I spent there. read more

This was my first time at Bellagio Nail Spa. And honestly, from the beginning of the process, I was very impressed. They seemed to take the COVID precautions very seriously. The line was not very long. Our temperatures were taken before entering. We were given a waiver to fill out and gloves to don before choosing colors. I got a beautiful (spicy) pink SNS. My technician was attentive and pleasant. She did a wonderful job. I'm very happy with the results! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I had the SNS powder on my nails and I stopped here to ask to have it removed. The lady picked it off with a file! I asked her to soak it off as I thought that would be less painful and healthier for my nails. She said no, that would take too long. So this is what I was left with. Boy I hate leaving bad reviews, but lord this was a horrible experience. I came in to get dip polish which Ive been getting the past 4 months. I was referred by a client of mine here and thought I would give this place a try. I just needed a fill and a color change and told the technician that I have dip polish. She said okay and I picked a color out. As she started to file the nail she noticed it was a dip color and this is when things started going downhill. She just started shaking her head and sighing like she didn't want to do all that work. Girl I'm paying $45 + a tip (hopefully if the attitude changes) she then said if I choose a similar color she'll do it for $30. I said alright. As she was doing her thing she started sighing again and said that this was a lot of work so $35. Again I said sure since I initially was already going to pay $45 but I wasn't getting the color I wanted so $35 would do. Well fast forward a couple hours and my lord, my nail beds were itchy, tender and swollen. Over the next few days I had blisters that would itch so bad and pus would come out. I come back in today to first, get them taken off and second get my money back. The WORST customer service I've EVER received. I walked in and kindly asked for them to be removed as I showed them the swollen, red, pus filled blisters and that I would also like the $35 I paid for them 2 days ago. Lady said alright and that I could have a seat. Another lady came to the table and began examining my nails and I told her the same thing I would just like them removed and a refund. She said "oh refund. Umm let me ask my manager." She comes back and said her boss said no because my nails look good. I said they look good?! I have swollen, red pus filled blisters you think that looks good?! I asked to speak to her manager and a guy walks out and said he will not give me my money back because it's an allergic reaction. I've been getting dip polish for the past 4 months and go to a new place and get the same service and this happens. I don't think so. I could easily have made this uglier and call state board on them for the lack of sanitation but wanted to let them fix the problem themselves. He finally told me fine I can have a refund and get them taken off and another service. I said no at this point I just want a refund and get them taken off elsewhere. He wouldn't let me just get a refund without getting them taken off which I understood. But god no, not another service. Well I'm sitting down and the lady who was going to take them off starts removing them and had my nails wrapped in foil and while I was waiting started asking what I'm unhappy about. I have been telling them what I'm unhappy about for the past 45 minutes PLUS get this... this woman starts freaking recording me? First, I did not give them permission to record me and second I never cursed or even caused a scene for them to even have a reason to record me? I honestly can't believe their customer service. I'm a hair stylist, I have an up to date cosmetologist license, I went to school and had to learn the basic about nail sanitation and what state board looks for. And made it a priority to look around during this visit while I was getting this polish removed. Although they have the barbicide out, their drills aren't fully submerged in the barbicide so it's not even sterilizing them and on top of the the barbicide looked as if it weren't changed for a week and that needs to be changed DAILY! Y'all there are so many other nail salons that want to give you a good service and appreciate your business. Don't waste your money or risk getting an infection like I did on this place. I just went to celebration nails to get a simple polish to let my nails heal and they were so sweet and accommodating. I'll be giving them a positive review shortly! read more

I wanted to update my review. I was with a friend that loves this place and decided to give them a try. I will say this...most says they are pretty busy. I usually go downtown to get nails done but was taking a break and decided it was a good time to try the SNS Dip craze. I was paired up with Kathy. She is fantastic and really works to give you a beautiful set of dip nails. I took two star off because they do not pour the dip into a separate container to use...meaning my finger and everyone else's finger uses the same container. Not hygienic at all and a good way to catch an infection. I never did but I love my downtown business and will be going back. Be warned not everyone can do a great dip set...sometimes they are too thick so definitely inquire more if you opt to have them done here. They do have a frequent visitor card and after 5 visits you get 20% off. Also if you want art, you may have to ask as it is not advertised and I don't think they can accommodate. I stopped in here to look at prices and possibly get a full set of acrylics. As soon as I walked in I was assaulted by the smell of chemicals. I would assume a little smell, as it is a nail salon but this was I. Your face as soon as you walk in. Someone greeted me from one of the tables and asked if she could help me. I said I was interested in look g at prices. She nodded and continued whatever she was doing (not nails). I glanced at a folder they had at front counter but didn't see anything about acrylics. Finally I found a flyer that listed everything they do here. The lady that had greeted me never came to see if I had any questions or offer any assistance. I took the flyer and left. Between the smell and lack of assistance this is the last place I'd spend my money. I have to wonder about all these 5 star reviews, as this place hasn't been open that long. read more

Very disappointed with this salon which is unfortunate because they have great reviews. I went in for a pink and white set only to find out it would cost $65. So I decided to go for my usual acrylic full set instead because that's a lot in my opinion. I've been getting acrylic nails every 2-3 weeks since 2015, so I know a decent amount about what they should look and feel like, though not as much as a nail technician of course. So the lady finishes the acrylic and after she had finished both hands the nails were still bending, which I have never experienced at a salon before. I'm pretty hard on my nails so I was very worried they were too thin. So I asked the lady why they were bending because I was thinking maybe they needed to be thicker. I suppose it is offensive when a customer questions your skill, but she responded pretty rudely and wasn't very understanding. She made me feel stupid for even asking and I was very uncomfortable. Then she continued to say something the second after it happened in another language to a fellow technician and they both laughed. Then I heard her say the word "ombre", so it was extremely clear they were talking about me and likely how stupid it is that I was worried about them bending. I do understand customers can be dumb and wrong, but I think it is highly disrespectful and disgusting to make a customer feel like this. It's not the first time something like this has happened to me at a nail salon, and I really would love to see it never happen again. read more

Do not go here. I specifically said do not cut my big toes with the clippers. She did, and did it un evenly. I pointed this out so she brought over the file-which somehow had a rough edge on the bottom part, which left me bleeding. She then dumped oil on my toe which got all over my shoe. Poor experience compared to other salons. I came in for a gel french nail manicure. The tech was pleasant but distracted. She filed my nails too short and proceeded to rush through the process and applied the white tips barely to the line between where the nail grows out and where the pink nail bed begins so the manicure lasted only a few days plus chipped a few days later totally negating the reason why I chose a gel manicure. The last time I had the same kind of manicure at a different salon, the tech took a long time to prepare and then bake each hand and the manicure lasted well over 3 weeks with no chipping. The second experience was when I went in 2 weeks later to have the polish removed because it looked terrible at that point. That was another rush job and there is still a residue of the old polish stuck on my nails. Before I left the salon, I pointed that out and the girl said, no, it's all off. Live and learn. I won't be going back. I only went there to begin with because it was close to my house, certainly not because of the price! read more

So far no cons about this business. All of the nail techs smile and speak as they walk by. My tech, Kevin, was really calm and attentive during my pedicure. There are about six different types of pedicures to choose from. I selected the deluxe for $35 -not a bad decision. Another person offered me a drink before I got started, and told me about complimentary WiFi. The best part for me is that I wasn't rushed out of the chair. Kevin allowed me to relax in the massage chair while my nails dried. This place could definitely become a repeat spot for me. read more

Worst pedicure ever! I went with my daughter. They started her pedicure about 15-20 mins before mine so she had to wait a good while for me. But worst part is I left there bleeding! I believe they use coarse sandpaper on your heels! My daughter had the same experience. It's been 2 weeks and my foot is still healing! My heel where they took the skin off is so sore because my shoes also rub on it! And the nail technician was rude & unpleasant! Can't believe I spent my hard earned money for this experience! This salon is great. I've been there three times and love it. The first was on a Friday afternoon at around 4 so it was packed and took a while but other than that I've had no problems with this salon. They also have more staff than any other salon I've been to so waiting is highly unusual! I've gotten UV gel and love it. The technician explained to me the difference between this and acrylic which was very helpful! All three technicians have been great and done a lovely job. This salon has THE MOST polish color choices of anywhere I've ever been and I love it! I always get excited because I never feel limited in choice. You can see the colors in the bottle and on plastic nail chips. I've never been a huge fan of getting my nails done but I look forward to getting them done here every two weeks! read more

So dissatisfied with this salon! I have been here two times and the first time my nails looked awful and the shape of my acrylics was not at all what I asked for. The next time I came back I was happy with my acrylic nails until one broke less than 12 hours later when I was picking up my cell phone off of a table. I went back and the nail was fixed but the nail was done in a different shape and was dramatically thicker than the other nail. Then, 3 days later a different nail broke. I returned to get the nail fixed and they made me wait for 20 minutes before they would fix it. I am not coming back, numerous better salons in the Raleigh area. read more

I received the worst pedicure of my life yesterday and that's saying a lot because I've received MANY. I should have known because when I sat down he told me it was his first day. I jokingly said "uh oh I'm going to be a Guinea pig" and he said "it's my first day here, but I've been doing this a long time. " Lies. I swear they could have found a better person off the street. I feel bad leaving a negative review, but it was terrible. I shouldn't have splurged on a premium pedicure because he did nothing to make it an upgrade. He left the exfoliate on my legs to "soak in" (you don't do that) and I had to ask him to rinse it off because my legs were burning, he couldn't figure out how to wrap the hot towel, he didn't massage the lotion in and when he did try to massage it was poor. He continued to say they had more steps in their pedicure process than his last place. It is clear that there is no training and they hire anyone. To make it worse when I get to check out they just said "$45" and didn't ask me how my experience was. I gave 2 stars only because I have been here in the past and it wasn't as bad of experience.
