I hadn't been here in years and couldn't remember what I used to get so I just ordered the A burger which is an all natural angus beef burger I chose cheddar cheese but they give you a few options for cheese. It was cooked perfectly which they also give you the option to choose what temperature you want your patty cooked too. The toppings are fresh and giving you that crunchy bite. The first thing that we tried was tomato basil soup, which was okay. Nothing to complain but nothing to be disappointed as well. Just an avg tomato soup The pizzas - Veggie and Margarita pizzas were nice and crunchy. I liked the fact that veggies were not over baked. I absolutely love this restaurant! The amount of gluten-free and vegetarian dishes is phenomenal! Everything I've had from here is absolutely delicious. I absolutely love the honey, fried goat cheese, and arugula salad. Talk about an amazing salad. The fact that the honey crusted goat cheese is gluten-free is amazing. The fried cauliflower is delicious. However, the pieces are ginormous. I much prefer smaller pieces, but can easily cut it into smaller pieces. I absolutely love empanadas and it's really hard to find delicious gluten-free empanadas. I would love to try the empanadas here however they contain meat and I'm a vegetarian. I would love to see a vegetarian option for their empanadas on the menu. You may think parking is an issue, but it is not. Restaurant guests can park on the bottom level of the parking garage in visitor parking at no cost. The service is quick and efficient and everyone is very friendly. Also, everyone is very knowledgeable about the menu. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try! You won't be disappointed. read more

I usually love Bellagreen but this was my first time placing an order from the River Oaks location. I ordered a blackened shrimp salad that usually comes with 5 shrimp. I also ordered an additional order of grilled shrimp. The salad had 4 grilled shrimp and 4 blackened shrimp. I called and spoke with a manager who told me they double checked my order and basically called me a liar. The additional shrimp cost 6.99... of course I would want my order to be correct. For as expensive as the salad is...why would I order my salad and call and lie about shrimp? I am extremely dissatisfied with the river oaks location and will not be returning. The tomato basil soup had a nice pastry puff on top and the cheese made a super long photo op. Their "W" wagyu burger was good. Not as good as the one on Royal Caribbean room service. But hey this ain't a cruise. We got sweet potato fries with it and it was pretty standard tasting. The honey fried goat cheese salad was good. I like the one fried goat cheese piece especially. Wish there were more than one piece though. The only dish I really really really didn't care for was the white chicken parm. The spaghetti noodles are all cut up. And it just has a weird consistency when you do that. Like mashed potatoes. The chicken on top was ok, I guess. Very healthy tasting if you get my drift. Definitely would give it a hard pass next time. Nobody in the family wanted more than one bite. They got some interesting flavors at the soda machine too. I'm obsessed with the veggie burger. It's so delicious with the fresh mozzarella cheese and fries side :) Becks charges $10 for their veggie burger w/o cheese and sides are al a cart. Bellagreen is the same price with cheese and side of choice included. I guess they are famous for the salads which is not surprising. They are generous in size with a huge variety of toppings. I love their take on Caesar. Also love the mango ranch. Not sure Iff the spinach dip was a special or regular menu item, but it was so tasty. Stopped at Bella green with a friend before checking into our Airbnb. The aesthetics is decent but nothing particular too fancy. The food is really his or miss. I got a wrap that was definitely my least favorite option. It was a combo of warm sautéed unseasoned vegetables and warm hummus. The warm hummus really through off the entire wrap. One of the staff members came around and offered an alternative of their honey garlic wings with a mango ranch! My oh my did that make up for the wrap. Probably some of the best cauliflower wings I've ever had! They were light battered and the cauliflower was still fresh tasting and firm unlike most cauliflower wing where the cauliflower is almost a mush by the time you get to eat them. I've ordered a few times from here using grub hub but I hadn't actually visited the location. The parking is a little tricky in that I went into the lot next to them that's open. You'll get your car towed there. You have to park inside where it looks like it's the apartment complex parking. They have plenty of gluten free options and other healthy options if you're on a specialized diet. I got some empanadas (3) and they were pretty filling as an appetizer. The dips they come in are also good. There's also a good selection of unsweetened teas. There's herbal and caffeinated options. My friend had the butternut squash spaghetti and it looked very tasty. We ordered the spaghetti squash bolognese - flavors were well developed and loved the fresh basil on top; however, I would pass on this next time as it was the priciest of what we ordered and pretty easy to replicate something similar at home for a fraction of the price. I tried the salmon pesto pasta, which had angel hair pasta, grilled salmon, and a pesto cream sauce with a lobster base that was tossed with roasted tomatoes, red & yellow bell peppers, shallots, diced jalapeños, kalamata olives, capers and garlic and topped with queso fresco. It sounds like a lot, but all the flavors complimented each other so nicely and prevented the dish from being monotonous by making each bite a little different. What is this sudden American obsession with sprinkling alfalfa over everything? They've got excellent health benefits (thanks, Wikipedia) but they taste terrible. Grind it up into some pills instead of covering your tomato soups in them, guys. Oh yeah, they put alfalfa on their tomato basil soup here. And a lot of it. I've come back several times and I feel like each time they put more. The soup itself is pretty delicious, but interestingly is covered in a serious amount of melted cheese. So much cheese that it's difficult to finish any bite as you still have a bit of cheese hanging from your mouth no matter what you do. It's really a race to eat all the cheese in one go rather than having soup. The parking is pretty wonderful - first floor of an apartment complex that has spots designated for retail. Free covered parking that's usually pretty open. The place is a stand in line, order at the counter, then take a number and be brought food kind of place. Drinks and silverware are self serve. There are cute little fresh flowers at every table and strange living wall art. There's a patio which overlooks the road from a decent height since the restaurant is a little elevated. Sweet potato mash has several herbs mixed in making it a very strange taste. Whatever was thrown in there does /not/ mesh well. Chicken salad sandwich is sweet and bitter at the same time, would not recommend. Salad with honey mustard dressing: the dressing is too sweet, the salad is droopy and bitter. Clean, healthy. Intermittently delicious. A pretty comfortable place to have a late night decent meal or read a book for half an hour. read more

I was on a trip in Houston and I decided to stop by to get my favorite fire roasted tomato soup that I usually get in Dallas. Once I placed my order I realised I lost my wallet in the cab. The staff let me pay for food with picture of my credit card, landed me a phone charger and kept checking on me and my situation as I was waiting to receive a phone call from the driver.
