Since the restaurant is in the heart of City Centre, you can either park on the street (if you're able to find a spot) or in the parking structure which is close by. The interior is modern and clean with the type of look you would expect from a healthy eats spot. They also have a nice patio which overlooks a water fountain and artificial grassy area. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. I stopped by for lunch and had the grilled chicken restaurant which comes on a wheat bun with bacon, Swiss cheese, avocado, mixed greens, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and a mango sauce. You get your choice of side: fries, sweet potato fries, or a third option which is escaping me. Condiments, including organic ketchup, are located near the soda machine. Service was friendly and the chicken sandwich was delicious. As were the fries. Since this is healthy eating, prices aren't the cheapest compared to other casual spots but you're paying for the quality ingredients. read more

We've been coming here on Sunday's to let the kids (we meet up with another family) burn off some energy outside. We time it so that we're able to get a table outside to keep a close eye on them while we drink (perhaps it's more like guzzle) some wine. The prices per bottle are very reasonable, and they have a bar outside which makes it that much more convenient. We usually just snack on pizza or desserts, but I've tried my son's chicken fingers and wow... they are tasty! The pizzas are good too, and I love their red (it should be called pink) velvet cake. It's their healthier version of red velvet, so I feel better eating it. :) They also have a live band in the evenings on weekends, so be careful or you'll be having so much fun dancing and running after your kids that you don't realize you've killed almost 2 bottles of wine yourself. And I have got to say, there's almost no reason to not like this place! Service: The staff can be a little more polite, but the system is self serve. So only expect to interact with them when you order, and also when receiving food. I wish the staff would have explained to me rather than reading about this on Yelp. Food: Loved everything I got today!! I ordered a tomato basil soup and that was amazing already! It's creamy soup, with a layer of cheese, and topped with puff pastry. For my entree, I ordered the grilled fish tacos... Which was way larger than I expected! It was basically 4 tacos with a spicy coleslaw mixture. My boyfriend ordered a organic egg sandwich (which I made fun of him since it's so "basic"). Boy could I be anymore wrong.... It was a sourdough toast with ham, a variety type of cheese, bacon, and over easy eggs on top. Definitely did not expect this to be amazing as it was. And the sweet potato fries that came with it....! YUM! Lastly, we got the infamous bread pudding... No need to even describe what was all the other reviewers talking about. Bellagreen has an amazing menu, filled with healthy choices and gluten free/dairy free options. My whole family loves this place - including our kids. Update: We ate at this location last night, and it was an excellent experience - except - they don't accept cash and we did not have advance warning of this. Was taken here for a birthday party (mine). It's interesting. First off it's order at the counter and seat yourself. No wait service in this place. So for a large group it was good for billing purposes, but not so much when you were sitting in the middle of a booth and wanted another drink. (Can everyone slide out so I can go get a drink or order food) :( The staff didn't even come by to collect plates that were finished until we stacked them all up and sat them at the end of the table. The food was actually really good. This is the one saving grace for me. I had the hummus to start and the veggie burger. There are plenty of seats inside, but I chose to eat outside on a pretty day. The ordering style is similar to McAlisters or Panera Bread. You order off the menu, and they give you a numbered tracking device. It is self-serve for utensils, fountain drinks/tea, and sauces. We ordered the All Natural Buffalo Burger, Steak Salad, and White Chocolate Bread Pudding. All Natural Buffalo Burger (3/5): My friend ordered this. I only took a bite of this with the sweet potato fries. It was my first time trying buffalo - much healthier. Steak Salad (3/5): This is the second salad I tried from here. It was from their daily specials, not on the regular menu. It contains mixed greens, 6oz flank steak, tomatoes, red onions, boiled eggs, avocado, cheese, and bacon. The mango sauce was exquisite, not too sweet - just delicious. Overall, I liked this salad, just was disappointed at first. I wanted my steak medium rare... Not well-done. We ordered in five minutes, received food as a party of 3 promptly and there were plenty of tables indoors since everyone was outside on the lawn listening to live music. I generally have good experiences at Ruggles restaurants but was quite disappointed with my food on this visit. It has been a couple of years since I'd eaten at this location but opted to go ahead and eat here despite it being "family central". There were loads of families with small kids enjoying dinner which was nice because family-friendly restaurants can be hard to come by for those in need. But on a Saturday night, it wasn't the vibe I really wanted to deal with. It basically works like this...grab a menu, walk-up to the counter and order, get your beverage, then seat yourself. There is a tip jar at the register if you want to leave a little something. Otherwise, tipping isn't necessary. Someone will bring you your food. I ordered the Cuban panini and sweet potato fries. My friend chose the quinoa mac n cheese and a side of sweet potato fries. My sandwich was a spin on the traditional Cuban. It was made with sliced meat, cheese, poblano peppers and red onions instead of classic mustard, pickles, cheese, and pork that I've grown to love. Although clearly freshly made as evidenced by the steam that came out when I opened the bun, it was just plain blah! It had practically no flavor and was very dry. I had to ask for a side of BBQ sauce just to get it down. The fries were a huge disappointment too. Even though we had plentiful servings, they were lukewarm, dry, and quickly turned cold! I noticed my friend, who rarely adds seasoning to her food, grabbing for the salt and pepper a few time for the mac n cheese. She said it tasted good be was a bit under-seasoned over all. There is no way I could review this place without commenting on the bathroom. Theirs is a unique set-up. It's one big space with two doors for women and two doors for men. There is one large basin with two sinks for hand washing and a shared, large mirror. The most frustrating thing is the space itself. On busy days, after washing your hands, there is no place for you to comfortably reapply makeup or fix your hair. I ended up putting on my lipstick outside of the bathroom just to get out of the way. Considering how "family-oriented" this place has become, I don't think this is the ideal set-up at all. It's difficult to tell if the individual stalls are occupied or where the line begins/ends. The food was pretty perfect here but the staff was aloof and busy wit their own conversations was our overall experience at Bellagreen. We will begin with the food. The three things we ordered were the hummus, the arugula and goat cheese salad and Dave's pizza. All were fresh and so tasty. The salad is heaven. The ingredients melded together make a wonderful salad. I added grilled salmon and it made it even better. I love this salad!! The pizza was phenomenal as well. The ingredients were fresh, we did substitute pepperoni for ham, it was a great pizza. The hummus was tasty too. I did feel like it needed a bit more salt BUT I love salt so it could have been me. The pita has a spice on it that I really liked. All the flavors they added incorporated well with the hummus. All that said, the staff kinda stank. We had to ask for the appetizer, and only then did it come. The bathrooms were lacking attention and overall the staff seemed to care more about their conversations than customers. Well on that note, this dip was still very rich and creamy and has spinach and artichoke all throughout the dip! It was more thick than any spinach dip I've ever had. I liked that aspect very much! The seasoned flat bread was delicious! Very unique and different than your average tortilla chips! They provided some olives and sun dried tomatoes on the side and let me tell you that the sun dried tomatoes gave it that extra zing with the dip! I added a small slice on each bite. Perfection! I had brunch here last weekend. I was surprised that it wasn't more crowded given that it was 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered an omelette with kale, onions,and bacon with salsa on the side. It came with toast and fruit. I also ordered a mimosa. My omelette was good, but a little too salty for my preference. The toast was very buttery and delicious. My mimosa was good, but it had a little too much pulp in the orange juice (not sure if it was freshly squeezed juice). I wanted to try the season mimosa (pineapple) but they had ran out already. This is only for the City Center Location. I am a Celiac and have eaten at all the Bellagreens for over 10 years and have never been sick until yesterday. When my husband asked them to take extra care with my take out order, a gluten free pizza, which I have had many times at the Heights location and a few times here, staff responded that it was fine, because it was made with gluten free dough, communicating a lack of understanding about cross-contamination. If you are Celiac, go to the Heights location; they understand celiac disease. This is a training issue and it makes people very sick. read more

My ultimate favorite menu item and main reason I order from them at least once a week is their Corn Chowder! It is perfectly seasoned, not loaded with peppers, and not too thick. Their desserts including the White Chocolate Bread Pudding are also great! They have many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options on their menu and seem to be Keto-friendly as well. I love this type of restaurant concept. It's an "New American" style menu that has a lot of healthy options and quality fresh ingredients. My coworker eats here daily and has been raving about it. Yelpers...did I have the WORST meal they've ever served? When I saw how highly this place was rated, I was so excited. My fiance and I came here for a double date, and I was thinking I could not go wrong with whatever I ordered. We got 2 appetizers with another couple and 2 entrees between us, and they were all bad.... Spinach and Artichoke dip (2/5) - Winner of the night! This was completely bland with almost no flavor, but it had the most flavor of anything I tasted, so it's my winner. The bread it came with was actually the highlight of the meal. Don't ask for more though, as they charge you! To be fair, they do give an ample amount, but feast on this because it may be the only part of the meal you enjoy. Hummus (1.5/5) - It had 0 flavor. It literally tasted like just texture, and I would MUCH prefer sabra hummus. For $9 they also give you a pretty tiny portion given that it sucks. Again, same bread as the spinach dip, so savor it. Grilled Chicken Sandwich (1.5/5)- I feel awful giving something a 1.5 when there wasn't a cockroach, but this was only a notch above inedible. It had NO FLAVOR at all. The bun was completely whatever, and the sandwich was something I easily could've made at home and made much better. I ordered the side of quinoa, and it was one of the only quinoa dishes I've not wanted to eat. I didn't even finish it. I made my side the remainder of the bread from the apps.... Margherita Pizza with chicken (1.5/5) - I didn't try this, but my finace literally only ate half and sent it back. I was curious as to why he wasn't eating it, but when I asked him about it later, he explained that it really was not good. When my fiance went to order, he did get swayed by the cashier, as he was supposed to order me a roasted chicken sandwich but she described it as a sloppy joe because they have to pull the chicken. She said most people order the grilled chicken instead, but I hope that the roasted one was better now in hindsight. He also asked her about the burger vs the pizza, and she said she loved the pizza. We are from NY so we're a bit more picky, but he literally did not eat half of his dinner, so rest assured it was pretty bad. I don't usually give 1s to places, but I would actually fight someone if they wanted to come back here. When 4/4 dishes are not enjoyable, then I don't need to try for #5. Bellagreen is one of my favorite restaurants. It's a great happy medium because there are plenty of vegetarian options for me, and lots of other options for my meat-loving friends and family. There's even gluten-free for those who want or need it! Usually I order from DoorDash to avoid the nightmare of parking in City Centre and then walking all the way from the garage to the restaurant-- first-world problems, I know. But I did go to Bellagreen in person once, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, even offered to wait to bring my dessert until I was ready and then happily prepared it to go when I decided I was too full to eat it there! For the record, this place is totally not just for us herbivores. I recommended this place to a non-vegetarian coworker from out of town and she ate there twice in the four days she was here. I also recently ordered for my non-vegetarian parents and myself and they agreed that the food was delicious. Everything is good here-- since I have so many veggie options I order something different every time, and I've never been disappointed. I do have a few favorites, of course.
