One of my favorite places to grab a bite so I always look forward to my errands in City Centre. The goat cheese salad with grilled shrimp is generally my go to and the hubs loves their kale Caesar with grilled shrimp or chicken. We have tried different menu items and they never disappoint. The cheesecake was interestingly tasty. The house-made whipped cream was delicious, but also enveloped the cheesecake. Strawberries definitely brought a fresh taste to the dessert. I would've gotten a beer if there was any on tap, unfortunately it's all bottled. Bellagreen has indoor and outdoor seating next to a small park in City Center. I must say, I am not a fan of standing in line to order and then having my food brought to me for a place of this level. I ordered the Brick Chicken which came with vegetables. The seasoning on the chicken was excellent but the chicken itself a bit rubbery. The vegetables were grilled and very good. Many people were ordering the pizzas and the fish tacos, which may have been a better choice. I had just enough time to park my car for 30 min, and eat lunch so I was expecting this to be a quick lunch. Under these circumstances bellagreen was on the ball. I got in the line to order and it took about 7-8 min till they got to me. I ordered the buffalo burger with sweet potato fries grabbed a spot in their spacious dining area which overlooks the tiny park. The ambience was great, even for lunch, it was warm and casual enough to take your mind off things and relax for a bit . The food took about 10-12 min to arrive so giving me the exact time I needed to eat and walk back. The burger was perfect, I had asked for a medium well, the seasoning was on point, the bread was light and it was just right . I ordered the Seared Salmon & Harvest Hash off the seasonal menu. I paid $21.10 for it, so I was disappointed to see how little of the "harvest hash" they gave me for the cost. I was so excited about the butternut squash, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, quinoa, and microgreens, but they only gave me about two bites of each. There was a good amount of salmon, but the proportions were way off. Certainly not worth the cost. If you're someone who needs a big meal, you'll still be very hungry after this one! If you're ordering it for the veggies (like me), be forewarned that it's basically just a hunk of salmon. I typically like Bellagreen, so I suggested that a friend and I go here (she had never eaten here). It was an embarrassing situation for me since we each spent so much for so little. It was so busy and so we thought for sure we didn't give a table at this wonderful kids friendly space on a hot, but beautiful day after weeks of on and off rain. No problem finding a spot, no problem finding something everyone likes. They had pizza, burgers and wings that everyone loved. Been here twice already. The establishment is very nice and in a good growing area. The first visit was for dinner so to say but was not very impressed with the flavors of the turkey burger. Didn't take the picture of the pasta we also order but also lacked lots of flavor. Today we went for brunch and was very much impressed and happier with the food. The chicken and waffles were very good. And great texture. The avocado omelette wasn't for me but was told had very good flavor also. The staff were very nice on both visits. The first visit they were nice but didn't make rounds with checking on guests. The second visit the staff made their rounds and asked if everything was good. So I'm the dork who always brought her lunch from home during middle to high school. Heck, even during my college years - me and my brown sack. Because I'm economical (read: cheap) and sometimes it can be a pain in the arse to track down some decent vegan substenance. I recently found myself at a day-long prep course in the Town and Country area, without my usual sack lunch. Yes, sad but true, but I had forgotten to bring my pathetic collection of leftovers. So I decided to go ahead and forage for some lunch in the big bad shopping center/mall. A quick walk yielded nothing particularly appealing to me so I did remember Ruggles Green having one or two vegan-friendly things I could order. This was right before New Year's - so the holidays consumerism hadn't yet began its steady decrease - but holy geeze was this place crowded. AND LOUD. I was all kinds of shocked, but that "green" schtick is pretty effective marketing after all. Anyway, only TWO default vegan options on the menu. The hummus appetizer and the minestrone soup. If you're a vegetarian - you win, there's a burger, pizza, and possibly a couple of other things? I decided to try the soup because I happen to love minestrone soup. I placed my order, waited an eternity - which I didn't mind too much. I just noted that they dispense their orders as they are placed and not based on ease of fulfilling the order - because the soup is pre-made and situated right by the cashiers so it's scooped by them or stray kitchen staff and servers. The stuff was ridiculously piping hot - which I was quite pleased with. However, that's all that was redeeming about it. Okay, so it was obviously freshly prepared that day - consisting of very sparse smattering of mushrooms and veggies, chunky quinoa macaroni pasta. The broth was terrible! It was clear runny - like stuff without any real flavor. I get that this is supposed to be gluten-free and "healthy," but this minestrone soup was really quite awful and not fit to be termed "minestrone." It was more like "hey let's throw a very meager amount of vegetables into a pot with our macaroni and pawn it off as soup!" Which okay, you got me, that is pretty much what soup is, ha ha. I ate it all anyway, but probably one of the most disappointing restaurant soups I've ever had. No more Ruggles Green for me. No thank you! read more

They have all kinds of sauce from ketchup, mustard, salsas, etc. They have plenty so you can just grab a bottle and take it to your table. They also have beverages from sodas, water, and tea that you can choose from. No limits on the refill since you do it yourself. Since the weather was nice, we ate outside. Fortunately, no birds poop on us. However, after a while, the sun started to show and since we were not sitting under the canopy, it was burning hot. Food: I didn't know what to order so I went on Yelp to check out what's good. Everyone said the buffalo burger was good and since I was in the mood for a burger, why not. The food came out pretty fast. I ordered a medium rare buffalo burger with Swiss cheese and sweet potato fries came with it. My friend ordered fish tacos. Both were large portions and delicious. My burger was juicy and cooked just right. It had all sorts of veggies. The sweet potato fries were really good. You can also choose regular fries if you want but I would recommend the sweet potato fries. My friend's fish tacos were also delicious and what I love about it was the spiciness and the veggies were crunchy. We were both stuffed afterwards. The prices were affordable and worth the quantity and the quality of the food. Can't say much for the service since it's self-served. The only thing the waiter did was bring the food. So I did not know if I should tip or not since if you paid with card then you can give a tip but that's difficult since I didn't even get any service yet. Overall, I would definitely return. The food was healthy and delicious. In addition, I like the atmosphere of Ruggles. It can be casual or casual fancy. Can't believe I never try Ruggles, my friends said it's one of their favorite places to eat. The food here is pretty good. I had the chicken Cesar wrap which I felt could have used a bit more dressing. My husband had the grilled chicken sandwich and he liked it, and my cousin enjoyed her vegetarian tacos, although she thought the dressing was much too spicy. The sweet potatoes fries were awesome and so was the side of quinoa salad that I ordered with my wrap. The food didn't all come out at the same time, which is always a bummer. I do like the variety of options on the menu. The drinks are self-serve and don't forget to grab some utensils on your way back to your table because your food runner probably won't offer you any. Food was good but service and attention to detail was questionable. We are dairy-free so we asked for the mozzarella to be removed from both the tomato basil soup and the tacos we ordered. But they came cheesed. I asked for my veg burger to be made with dairy free mozzarella and now I'm doubtful that they followed through. They brought the soup to us and told us they would come back with spoons but after 10 minutes we got up and had to ask for them. I understand making mistakes because I'm in service too but this was a lot in a row! We don't have allergic reactions for our non dairy preference but I hope someone with severe dietary restrictions and biological consequences will stay vigilant of this read more

Once again, I am absolutely enchanted by my experience at Bella Green (city center exclusive, the other locations have been hit or miss in recent months). I entertain out of town friends frequently and my number 1 restaurant to let them enjoy is Bella Green. I'm gonna steal this from their about us section because frankly it's truly delightful to happen upon a dining establishment that knows what in-house means, "...every item is made from scratch in our kitchen, we can modify most items to align with Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian, Keto, paleo, Whole 30 and other dietary needs or preferences." WOW. Some of my friends can be real snobs, and Bella Green has each one of them excited for a return trip. Food Quality - 5/5 Unquestionably consistent with flavor, portion sizes, and plating, Bella Green has delivered on their mission statement of "We believe that every meal is a chance to make life & Earth more beautiful." The number of, as the kids these days would say "Grammable" plates is limitless. Typically I begin with the GOAT CHEESE SALAD which contains mixed greens, sun-dried tomatoes, sliced apples, and shaved parmesan cheese. World class choices for such a vibrantly flavored dish. But then it's tossed with sun-dried tomato vinaigrette (I so wish they would let me have this recipe) and finally topped with a warm almond-crusted goat cheese medallion. The choice of ingredients shows a mastery of flavor on the end of the chef and menu writers, the light spice and crunch from the mixed greens, sweetness of the apples, sweet-tart profile of the tomatoes, and saltiness of the Parmesan intermingle with the light and sincerely orgasmic vinaigrette, to make a salad that has captivated my taste buds time and time again. To continue my meal I usually order the BRICK CHICKEN (a rugged name for an enthralling dish full of flavor). It's a marinated boneless chicken sautéed to crisp perfection, garnished with lemons & rosemary and with a side of their chipotle mashed sweet potatoes & roasted vegetables. The chicken is moist and tender it's almost melt in your mouth if it wasn't so delightfully crisp on the outside. The juxtaposition of textures dancing playfully on my tongue with the flavors of creamy spiced chipotle mash or roasted veg in every bite can really leave me "bricked up" as my son says. Now I'll be frank, if It was socially acceptable to order a plate full of just those goat cheese medallions? I'd be in HEAVEN. But Bella Greens Fast Casual style of dining will have to suffice ;) Service 5/5 It's a fast casual establishment, a modern take on an ancient industry, and I love how Bella Green wears it. The waitstaff are beyond welcoming every dine-in, and the handful of times I had to pick-up a quick bite they were just so accommodating. The staff are always clean, neat and present themselves professionally in a food-safe environment (something extremely lacking in numerous other locations if I'm being picky) and they consistently demonstrate passing knowledge of the menu, when probed for information. I'm never disappointed with any visit to any Ruggles. This was my first visit to this location. I had the Atlantic Salmon salad. I always order dressing on the side because most restaurant soak their salads with dressing and I don't like that. Perhaps that's a reason why my salad didnt come out soggy, too savory, or wilted. I love the mango ranch with the chipotle salmon. My salmon did come out a bit spicy (do note I'm a big spicy eater), but the mango ranch offsets it. My hubby had the Cuban pork sourdough panini. Great sandwich, although he did think that it tasted even better dipped in my mango ranch dressing. The panini was suppose to have a mango chipotle dressing already, but he said he didn't taste any. I really wanted dessert, because who goes to Ruggles and not get a dessert, but I was way too full. I didn't even finish my salmon! Yes I will be back. I love the patio area. The weather was absolutely beautiful today especially after the "winter storm" we just had yesterday. We were craving dessert tonight and this was the closet satisfaction we could find. Of course, we ordered the white chocolate bread pudding. Yes, it was just as heavenly as the last time I had it at the location in Rice Village. Instead of the crispy cookie that formerly garnished the dessert, it is now made of milk chocolate that melts right onto the warm bread pudding. Great addition. The decor of this location is very different than other locations. It classier with an artsy, modern look -- a very nice touch. There are also electronic devices at every table. You insert your order ticket into it, and the staff will know where to deliver your food when it is ready. Talk about technology! I am impressed with this Ruggles. I've been to Ruggles Green countless times over the years for my dessert fix. They have my favorite bread pudding of all time, which is their signature white chocolate bread pudding. It's the best! And perfect for sharing because it's huge and comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I also like their pink velvet cake, though I have to admit it wasn't as good as I remembered it to be when I had it last weekend. I have never tried their regular food but I like the convenience of having the bakery on one side where I can just walk up and order dessert without much of a wait.
