I always have the mother Earth, but this was the worst breakfast I ever had at this place, last time it was bad too. But, previous to that it was always so so good. Because the food was real. I don't know who takes care of this place, who is the chef now, Perhaps they changed their menu to fake items to save money. it's so sad. I used to come here all the time because they have a healthy menu, and the Mother Earth on their menu in the healthy section, was always very good. It was made with tomatoes, long onions, peppers, mushrooms, and other yummy veggies, and the egg whites were real egg whites. But, unfortunately, not anymore. The food is fake, you can tell the egg whites are a tinge, yellow, iit's a sign that the eggs are not real, the inside were only teeny slices of zucchini and teeny slices of carrot. They were damp and watery and not consistent with the omelette I had six months ago, and years prior. . However, I said, let me give it a chance again , maybe they ran out of whatever veggies were always in the omelette and substituted for those instead. But, no, they just changed their menu. They change the way they cook. It's all gone downhill. Well across from me sat other people that were also complaining about their food , three tables behind me to my left a couple was also complaining about their food. No Joke! That says a lot. I'm so sad since this used to be my favorite breakfast place. Oh and to top it off The waitress was very rude, she grabbed my coffee with her fingers placed on the very top of where one takes a sip from their coffee mug. I wasn't going to say anything, but with the risk of germs today, ya never know. Yuck! I told her that she should not be doing that, oh so you want a new coffee? She said, I said, if you can please. However; that ruined the experience of the only thing that was good, my sugar-free vanilla latte. So when I told her that, she said, I will bring you another one. Cause I was grossed out I said OK. She brought me a new cup of coffee, but it was the same cup of coffee, only poured into a different mug with a little more added coffee., and I could tell that it was put into a microwave, It was the same coffee I originally had been given at first, they just poured a little extra on top so it looks like I got a new one . The taste on this coffee was no longer the same. It was absolutely horrible I was disappointed. .Also, The grits weren't like the grits I used to have at this place. It was like having a rubberized bunch of mush. It tasted as if it was sitting there for a while and just microwaved. Sadly, I thought I would give what Used To Be my favorite place for breakfast one more chance , I did, and unfortunately I'm not coming back here again! I would have given this place zero stars. In the past, I gave it more. I guess back then different chef real food real ingredients not anymore!! if you have a place where most of the Tables around you are complaining about their food, it's time to go elsewhere. Save your time and do not come to this place unless you like microwaved food, and fake ingredients. Not all waitresses or waiters are rude, like the one I had, this one was. 2nd time visitor, this time I parked in the garage and walked through the office building they have a direct connection door, that's a pro tip to avoid rain or looking for spots upfront. 15 min wait, not bad, enjoyed some coffee and water until the food got there. Lumberjack breakfast and chicken and waffles, the waffle was pretty average and the chicken had some good crunch but pretty average. I got a side of potatoes because they are always good, without them it would have been an average breakfast. I'll come back and try the biscuits and gravy. read more

I absolutely enjoyed the bright atmosphere and professional service, most staff I interacted with was smiling and respectful/kind. I can't remember the name of what I had but it was a tomato, with smoked turkey, egg & cheese. It was phenomenal absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try it again and again and again. I used to come to Le Peep when I lived in the Memorial City area...and I was never disappointed...I decided to come here today with my son...and it was still amazing...I tried to switch it up a little and try something different...so I had the Arizona omelet...it was quite delicious...it also came with country potatoes...and an English muffin...my son had the Omni omelet...and he said it was really good...the service was good and out waitress always checked to make sure we had everything we needed...the inside was jammed packed with people...but we were seated really quick...packing up front is not the best...but if needed...you can use the parking garage...we really enjoyed our outing...and we will return soon read more

First Watch is usually my go-to, but with Le Peep nearby (had no idea they were still in Houston!), this was perfect because it was right down the street and had a 15 min wait. So, the main reason why this was an average breakfast experience for me was that none of the breakfast entrees enticed me; having an a-la carte option would be nice, so patrons can get exactly what they want on their plate. I ended up with the veggie eggwhite plate with "smoked turkey." Disappointing enough, it's actually turkey cold cuts. I swapped out the bread for potatoes. Their only gluten-free bread option during breakfast time is the hamburger buns. No GF pancakes, toast, or english muffins. The endless coffee is a nice touch, and they do have soy and almond milk. I can see why diners love it there. They have a lot of pastries and delicious-looking carby things to indulge in, along with some fun coffee drinks. I really liked the environment, it was nice and cool in a very warm morning. They had their ac very cool, and made me very comfortable inside. Portions feel huge to me. The potatoes were my least favorite, they were soft and I'd rather have them crispy ok the outside, they felt microwaved. I loved having the owner come and ask if everything was to our liking, and if we needed anything else. That gesture shows caring and attention, it is important to them that you are satisfied. This has become a great breakfast/brunch place for me in the memorial area! I went here on a weekday for a quick breakfast and truly enjoyed my experience here. Our waiter was really great and super efficient. I was pretty impressed by his skill in carrying all the plates. No movement was wasted lol. We were seated pretty quickly and food came out in a decent time. The menu was pretty varied and the options all looked delicious. I opted for the texas cinnamon roll and an order of the biscuit and gravy. The cinnamon roll was super soft and fluffy and definitely texas sized. It can practically be a meal in and of itself. I also got the biscuits and gravy which was 2 biscuits with sausage gravy on top. I really loved how soft the biscuits were and that the gravy wasn't too salty. I would definitely order it again. Since 1967 Houston owned and operated. Classic breakfast/lunch spot. My favorite are the granola almond pancakes. Good value, tasty breakfast. Nothing fancy, but everything is good. The food came out in good timing and blew our minds away with the generous portion and decent pricing. I usually order regular black coffee and they gave me an entire pitcher of it, score! Just look at the size of the cinnamon roll portion and biscuits and gravy. The ambiance looks looks to be a better than usual casual cafe which is clean and efficient. I've been here a few times, mostly for breakfast meetings and it's generally the same. The food is decently good, this most recent time I had the French Toast. Much like the time before after being seated and brought my water we seemed to have to wait a while until someone took our order. My only guess is that they want to be flagged down when it's time to order and they don't want to interrupt the conversations I'm usually having when I'm here for breakfast meetings. The food comes out pretty fast after you order it, so that's a plus. When I do interact with the staff everyone is friendly, but they don't come by much so I never seem to get my water refilled. On this last trip the French Toast was nice and filling, but nothing outstanding. It's average food at average prices with some service. read more

If I could give you zero stars I would. I had a horrible experience when attempting to eat at this location on Mother's Day weekend May 20, 2025. The manager at the front kiosk on May 20,2925 told my family and I we had to wait an hour to an hour and half. I have not been asked to wait that long at any other restaurant in my life. We observed several families during that time and he never once tried to accommodate or communicate appropriately to us with any other options. He was rude, zero customer service skills & most of all zero empathy. My grandchildren were exposed to these types of behaviors. Got some mediocre French toast here to go one morning. Perhaps the experience would have been better in person, but the French toast was rather uninspiring and didn't come with a lot of toppings.
