This is only for the City Center Location. I am a Celiac and have eaten at all the Bellagreens for over 10 years and have never been sick until yesterday. When my husband asked them to take extra care with my take out order, a gluten free pizza, which I have had many times at the Heights location and a few times here, staff responded that it was fine, because it was made with gluten free dough, communicating a lack of understanding about cross-contamination. If you are Celiac, go to the Heights location; they understand celiac disease. This is a training issue and it makes people very sick. read more

Yelpers...did I have the WORST meal they've ever served? When I saw how highly this place was rated, I was so excited. My fiance and I came here for a double date, and I was thinking I could not go wrong with whatever I ordered. We got 2 appetizers with another couple and 2 entrees between us, and they were all bad.... Spinach and Artichoke dip (2/5) - Winner of the night! This was completely bland with almost no flavor, but it had the most flavor of anything I tasted, so it's my winner. The bread it came with was actually the highlight of the meal. Don't ask for more though, as they charge you! To be fair, they do give an ample amount, but feast on this because it may be the only part of the meal you enjoy. Hummus (1.5/5) - It had 0 flavor. It literally tasted like just texture, and I would MUCH prefer sabra hummus. For $9 they also give you a pretty tiny portion given that it sucks. Again, same bread as the spinach dip, so savor it. Grilled Chicken Sandwich (1.5/5)- I feel awful giving something a 1.5 when there wasn't a cockroach, but this was only a notch above inedible. It had NO FLAVOR at all. The bun was completely whatever, and the sandwich was something I easily could've made at home and made much better. I ordered the side of quinoa, and it was one of the only quinoa dishes I've not wanted to eat. I didn't even finish it. I made my side the remainder of the bread from the apps.... Margherita Pizza with chicken (1.5/5) - I didn't try this, but my finace literally only ate half and sent it back. I was curious as to why he wasn't eating it, but when I asked him about it later, he explained that it really was not good. When my fiance went to order, he did get swayed by the cashier, as he was supposed to order me a roasted chicken sandwich but she described it as a sloppy joe because they have to pull the chicken. She said most people order the grilled chicken instead, but I hope that the roasted one was better now in hindsight. He also asked her about the burger vs the pizza, and she said she loved the pizza. We are from NY so we're a bit more picky, but he literally did not eat half of his dinner, so rest assured it was pretty bad. I don't usually give 1s to places, but I would actually fight someone if they wanted to come back here. When 4/4 dishes are not enjoyable, then I don't need to try for #5. Bellagreen is one of my favorite restaurants. It's a great happy medium because there are plenty of vegetarian options for me, and lots of other options for my meat-loving friends and family. There's even gluten-free for those who want or need it! Usually I order from DoorDash to avoid the nightmare of parking in City Centre and then walking all the way from the garage to the restaurant-- first-world problems, I know. But I did go to Bellagreen in person once, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, even offered to wait to bring my dessert until I was ready and then happily prepared it to go when I decided I was too full to eat it there! For the record, this place is totally not just for us herbivores. I recommended this place to a non-vegetarian coworker from out of town and she ate there twice in the four days she was here. I also recently ordered for my non-vegetarian parents and myself and they agreed that the food was delicious. Everything is good here-- since I have so many veggie options I order something different every time, and I've never been disappointed. I do have a few favorites, of course. The veggie burger is awesome, I can never resist getting the vegetarian tortilla soup every time I order, and the cauliflower wings are also to die for. read more

I love a good Bellagreen salad because there are many salads with flavorful options including capers, sundried tomatoes, goat cheese, etc. They have some great desserts too - the domino cake is my favorite (chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and chocolate topping plus a little ice cream and small chocolate sculpture). I've met at Bellagreen with a friends with very restrictive diet (vegan, soy-free, AND nut-free!) and she loves eating there because there is actually things she eat (hummus platter and one of the salads). You pay at the counter (so great place to meet for groups where you are all paying separately) and then they bring your food to you. Parking is not ideal because it is in City Centre (have had a terrible parking experience all three times I have been here). My advice is to allow lots of extra time for parking if you have never been to City Centre before because you will probably need to park in the garage and probably on a top level (a lot of the other spots are reserved or full). Plus one star for a very caring staff at this location. On my most recent visit to Bellagreen, I managed to drop my parking ticket (I think it fell out of my pocket when I took my wallet out to pay). When I realized what happened, I went back to Bellagreen to ask the woman who took my order if she remembered seeing it. She remembered seeing a parking ticket and helped me look for it, but it had already been thrown away. She was very reassuring and took the time to make a call to ask security if there was anything I could do. While she was doing that, the manager came out because I was evidently distressed and asked if everything was okay and offered to bring me water or anything else I needed. With their help, I eventually managed to make it out of the garage without having to pay $20 for losing my ticket (thank goodness)! Thanks Bellagreen! read more

1. Service - Line up, order up front, grab a number, fill your own drink, find an open seat, and the food will come right out. This is a self service restaurant. You grab your own utensils and you refill your own drink (tea, water, or sodas only). 2. Price - Not exactly cheap. Food can range from $10-$30 a person. 3. Ambiance - Nicely decorated, high ceilings, lots of booths, and outdoor seating available. Dress code is casual. 4. Food - The food here is ok, but it depends on what you order. Fish tacos were not so tasty because of the veggies, and the pepperoni pizza was too salty. The desserts here are really good though, especially their White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Their salad portions are huge. My favorite is their Atlantic Salmon Salad. 5. Cleanliness - Very clean including the restrooms. Men and women share the same sinks. This should be a 3.5 star because I have a mix feeling on the food. But since I can't, I'm going to round up. I can see myself coming back. read more

Just ok. We went here for dinner when it was very cold outside, so sitting outside was not an option. We walked in and found that absolutely every seat at every table was taken. I was happy to see the manager out there monitoring the seating situation. He was sure we'd find a seat, so we ordered and waited. Within 5 minutes we were seated at a table which had been quickly cleaned after the previous patrons left. The cashier who took our order was really nice and repeated everything back, which makes me wonder how she made a mistake on my order. I detest pickles but when it arrived, it was bathed in pickle juice :( Anyway, our food came out crazy fast, so much so that I wondered if they just reheat things back there. My husband ordered the Turkey burger, which at most places takes a really long time. Turkey burgers don't have a lot of fat and take a long time to cook. His turkey burger came out with everything else, in record time. The food was all just ok. The chicken sandwich and turkey burger were fine, nothing special. It was $25 for the two sandwiches, each with fries and a soda. I did like the service, the manager was on top of everything, tables were cleared quickly, and food came out fast. It was pretty loud inside, but I bet it would be lovely to sit outside and eat lunch or dinner, unfortunately, it was right at freezing when we were there, so that wasn't an option. Ruggles Green is definitely one of the more casual options in City Centre, so a good place to get a quick bite. I have to write this place up after my wonderful lunch experience yesterday. When the weather is nice this is the place I think of when I want to eat lunch "al fresco." Plentiful tables scattered outside for everyone to enjoy the sun when it's not beating down too hard, although parasols are available to provide some shade and relief. This is by far one of my favorite "patios" besides El Pueblitos. Knowing the weather was a perfect 70 degrees yesterday I just had to escape the office with Stephen R and that is what we just did. I decided to give the daily fresh special a whirl, Braised TX Pork Belly, how could I not with this description: Pork locally sourced from Allen Harrison Hog Farms/Ancient Sea Salt, w/Young Black Walnut Couscous, Grilled Asparagus & White Cherry Glaze. Stephen R. opted for the Wood-fired Quinoa Mac 'n Cheese. I also decided to celebrate this wonderful spring day with a St. Arnold Spring Bock, wise decision. My dish was pricey for lunch at $15.95 but it was DELICIOUS and I took a picture which I'm sharing w/you, it even LOOKED delicious. :) The pork was perfectly braised, it was succulent and the fat was crisped to perfection, yes I even ate some of the thick fat rind that comes a long with pork belly...it was that good. The couscous was firm and not mushy and I believe it was mixed with pesto and what looked like mustard seeds, I scraped it off my plate until it was clean. The white cherry glaze paired well with the pork, pork is usually served with a sweet sauce like apple or prune and this was a cool twist. The asparagus was crunchy, just the way I like it, don't like limp things! :P Stephen R's Mac 'n Cheese was pretty amazing, he couldn't finish it due to the heaviness of it. It's made with 5 cheeses ya'll! Swiss, mozzarella, parmesan, sharp cheddar and fontina, it's creamy which also means FILLING. We also decided that we couldn't visit Ruggles Green without ordering a dessert, my favorite is the Bread Pudding which has already been raved about in all it's milky glory. We decided to split the carrot cake, which was good but nothing to write home about, the side of ice cream is probably the best part about ordering dessert here. Tastes very fresh and non-chemically. I'm curious to see what other specials Ruggles Green will come up with, albeit pricey they're worth treating yourself to, just don't do it too often. ;) read more

I don't know how to feel about this place. One second, I love it but the second I look at my wallet I despise it. 3. 25 out of 5. So I was vegan a few years ago (yes, gimme your bar jokes, come on.) but I was also living with my parents who paid for everything so I did not bat an eye at the prices I just said give me this and give me that. I'm a meat eater now but I do appreciate that Ruggles serves all dietary restrictions. Wether you're vegan, vegetarian, a meat eater, gluten free and all the in between you will find something here for you - that you will enjoy! Gotta add that in. My go to here is the veggie burger with sweet potato fries but this time I got the Kobe burger with sweet potato fries and tomato soup. I was... not impressed. I would have thought that for how much I'm paying that this would be one of the best Kobe burgers I've had in my life but I was utterly disappointed. Next time I come back, I would stick with my regular veggie burger. Or just skip it all and go to the food court and get that Chinese food. TL;DR This place is good if you're going on a date with a health conscious cross fitter but not for me. Be prepared to not get a dessert because you've spent your limit on your entree. read more

I was surprisingly impressed with this place. The Hi Protein Hempanadas were great. The ground meat had lots of flavor, and the dipping sauces were light and were a good compliment. The quinoa Mac and Cheese was really good (I stupidly expected to see bits of quinoa in there, but, and their sharp cheddar flavor stood out. Definitely in my top 10 favorite Mac and Cheeses. They offered 4 teas, located next to the fountain drinks. They were great teas, and the best part was that they were all unsweetened. They were really refreshing. I'm so happy with this place, I wouldn't say it's completely healthy eating, but at least you think you are, and that's half the battle right? First off there is no longer free curbside parking, it is all metered, which almost got me but lucky for me as I was walking away I saw someone rushing to feed the meter. Next, the line inside is crazy, and their delivery system is dumb. It takes forever for the waiter to find you and then even longer to flag someone down to tell them you need/missing something. As far as our lunch went I had the Buffalo burger and sweet potato fries. The buffalo burger was meh and the fries were just not good. I usually never leave fries on the table but just not must have. Now onto the bread pudding. It was more mush then I was expecting. I like it with a little crispy edges with warm softness. Nope. Overall, letdown. read more

Came here for brunch with a friend. I ordered the pepperoni pizza. My pizza was so soggy & we had to use silverware to eat a thin crust pizza. We also ordered a shrimp & crab pasta. I couldn't even take a picture of it..the presentation was terrible. Looked like someone just mixed in random junk. $17 for crap I paid for. It smelt fishy & the dish was terrible. I rather eat a lean cuisine dish. The lobster base sauce just went wrong. Not a fan of quinoa linguini.. Came here on a Saturday around 6:45 pm - plenty of places to sit but the restaurant was too dark! Also not the cleanest Ruggles I've been too, the drink area was a mess. For the record, I love Ruggles Green. The one in River Oaks and the one in the Heights. I hate the Sugar Land and Citycentre locations. Their cooks suck here. Yes, I call them cooks because with the food they produce, they don't deserve to be called chefs. Spinach salad with grilled chicken breast - the chicken breast was severely overcooked. The edges were like jerky. I was really disappointed in this salad. The description emphasized bacon and bacon vinaigrette. Well I can tell you I really had to squint to find any bacon in the salad and simply crumbling bacon into plain vinaigrette does not make it bacon vinaigrette. The vinaigrette tasted good, but it is not bacon vinaigrette. Chicken was sweet, I was looking for simply grilled, non-overcooked and non-dry chicken breast. I got the opposite. I was hungry after this. Buffalo burger with swiss cheese - it looked a little dry but my sister had no complaints, but she is not a foodie... Sweet potato fries, as always, were good. Also, they use the best wheat buns I've tasted for burgers. Kobe beef burger with mozzarella cheese - it was seasoned well with some spices and it wasn't overly dry, although it was a little more cooked than what we had asked for. I like how it was nicely charred and not dry. My mom didn't have any complaints about this burger and it's probably her new favorite at Ruggles. I'm going to have to try to order this next time! Sweet pickles - someone confused the salt and sugar jars or accidentally dropped a bag of salt into this because it was like eating pure salt. Pineapple salsa - nothing special but fresh and bright - add it to your burger for some dimension in flavor. I will not go back to this location. They are expanding way too fast with lack of quality control. The servers seem miserable and the drink area is not kept clean. Side note that they do have outdoor seating so you can bring your dog. Just be wary of bringing them on the weekend when there are tons of kids in the fake grassy area running around, which is right in front on the restaurant. This gets two stars because of the kobe beef burger and the sweet potato fries somewhat saving this experience from a complete waste. read more

Music was too LOUD and made it difficult to communicate with staff. And I got the same girl as I had spoken to one the phone. The pasta was under-cooked so it was chewy and a bit tough to eat. The chicken was a bit dry and tasteless, but everything else was good. I really like all the veggies and the tomato sauce was light, but savory. This dish was light overall, but the portion was big. ALL-NATURAL KOBE BEEF BURGER- all-natural kobe beef, mixed greens, tomato, house-made pickles, grilled red onion, and swiss cheese; served on a whole-wheat bun and garnished with micro greens. The beef was dry. Other than that, the burger was alright. The flavors were subtle and nothing really stood out flavor wise. It was like any BLT burger, but I've had better. WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING This was the best thing of the night. The bread pudding was moist and packed with flavor. I really liked the contrast in the cool ice cream and the warm bread. It wasn't overly sweet, but it had enough sweetness to crave any sweet tooth. I'll come back when it's not so crowded and try other items on their menu. I was a bit nervous about this place as most of the vegetarian items are not vegan and the dairy-free items are meat! I asked the girl at the counter if she could make anything vegan that's not on the menu and she turned out to be a chef that informed me of all sorts of vegan offerings. Apparently Ruggles Green is in the process of revamping it's menu. This location (and perhaps the other) offers vegan Daiya cheese for the pizza but they only had cheddar (usually have mozz) when I visited so I skipped the pizza. I decided on getting tofu tacos instead of fish tacos (tofu isn't listed as an option on the menu), and got it without one of the sauces w/ milk in it. Since I was skipping a sauce, the lady told me I could have sliced avocado on the tacos for no additional charge - excellent! I can't say the tacos were the most fantastic I've ever had in my life (the tofu was slightly bland and came in one large chunk, vs smaller pan-fried chunks), but they were colorful, tasty, and I really appreciated the lady going out of her way to make me happy. I dined with a meat-eating friend that has very little experience with vegetarian food and he got the veggie burger and fries and was blown away. I tried a piece of his veggie burger (a homemade nut/bean burger) and it was great. Unfortunately (for me, at least!), he got cheese on it so I couldn't really dive into it! This was my second wrangle with Ruggles. Almost everything here is good. I love the selection of organic iced teas. I love the mix of desserts. I had their Dale's Pizza and that was amazing. Ham, bacon, arugula on top of a pizza, soooo good. The sweet potatoes are justifiably the best in Houston. They are just perfect. I could eat so many of them. As far as the pastas go, I find they can be hit-or-miss and often bland. It's just not a strength for Ruggles. Ruggles is a good addition to Austin, but between the multiple locations, consistency is a problem and it needs improvement. read more

I always like Ruggles Green cause their salad are ON POINTE - with light, fresh, crunchy, flavorful, and healthy in mind. I ordered the salmon salad and it was phenomenal! I had not expected it to be soooooo good. It's the priciest of their green plates, but totally worth it. I enjoyed the covered patio next to the courtyard of CityCentre, even though it was 100 degrees in the the sun..the shade was comfortable and the fans kept the breeze flowing. I've been to Ruggles Green several times and tried many dishes there and nothing has disappointed. The menu is full of yummy choices and you can't go wrong with anything. My favorite dishes are the goat cheese salad with blackened salmon and the quinoa Mac and cheese when I want to indulge. I've also tried their pizza and it's very good and well sized. Their infamous bread pudding is SO GOOD! Definitely a must try. They have other baked goods that look very good but I haven't been able to pass up the bread pudding. I love this location even though it gets VERY crowded. Some people take a seat outside and never leave... otherwise the outdoor seating is nice and full of life! read more

Ruggles Green probably has the best location in Citycentre. I really like the interior of the restaurant, with its high ceilings and large windows. There is also outdoor seating right next to a large green lawn. It makes you forget that you are right next to a major freeway interchange (almost). The restaurant is always packed during lunch time (the only time I've ever been). Sometimes there is even a line out the door, but the line goes fairly quickly. Finding a place to sit, especially if you want to be outside, is another issue. On to the food... The first thing I tried at Ruggles Green was the natural beef burger. The burger was topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and a spring mix on a wheat bun. Dry and devoid of flavor would be an apt description of this burger. Easily the most forgettable item I've had at Ruggles. I've tried three of the wood fired pizzas. They were the Margherita Pizza, Pepperoni, and the Five Cheese Pizza. Tomatoes, roasted garlic, basil, thyme, oregano, and two different cheeses made up the Margherita Pizza. The five cheese pizza consisted of fontina, mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta and romano cheeses. The pepperoni pizza was topped with tomatoes, garlic, mushrooms, onions and of course, pepperoni. The pizzas looked great, but their tastes didn't quite match their looks. The best was the five cheese pizza. The last entree that I've tried is the Wood Fired Quinoa Mac & Cheese. This was baked quinoa pasta, bread crumbs, and five different cheeses (cheddar, fontina, mozzarella, parmesan, swiss). Just like the other entrees, this wasn't anything special. Not much flavor even though there were (supposedly) five cheeses. Although I've yet to be impressed with any entree, I've enjoyed every dessert I've had at Ruggles Green. A few desserts I have tried are the oreo cheesecake, pink velvet cake, and organic carrot cake. The cakes were moist and had layers of flavor. The desserts each came with organic vanilla bean ice cream and strawberries. The pink velvet cake is currently my favorite. Ignoring the desserts, I would describe the food that I've tried as mostly bland and forgettable (or maybe I'm just trying the wrong things). On the other hand, I really like the desserts. They are the only reason I agree to come back for lunch, besides the outdoor seating. It's getting hot so that reason is about to disappear. The service has been mostly good. Entrees have come out in reasonable amounts of time, but almost every dessert I've ordered has taken way too long to be brought. It's almost like they forget about my order, and then right before I'm about to complain to someone, my dessert magically appears in front of me. Overall, I think Ruggles Green has expensive, forgettable food, that is only somewhat redeemed by its desserts. read more

I love this place! It is located in the heart of City Centre and there are many places to check out before or after dining here. I would describe the food to be "healthy" American - as in they offer gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. I still have YET to try their desserts (but I will one day!!) because I am usually way too full, but I hear they are amazing. I really recommend the All natural turkey meatball panini! It is super cheesy and warm and great comfort food. Sandwiches and burgers come with a side of fries, sweet potato fries or quinoa salad. I also recommend the green veggie nut burger if you are feeling vegetarian. I'm always looking at other tables and everyone's food always looks so delicious and healthy, so I don't think you can go wrong ordering anything from the menu. Perfectly roasted tomatoes, lightly grilled asparagus, sweet sauteed onions, and marinated mushrooms packed with flavor, all resting next to a very fresh bed of greens. The way the veggies were cooked brought out their natural flavors and the dipping sauces were a nice touch. Not overpowering at all, just a little extra kick. I also tried a couple of their pizzas. One was a white pizza with capers and mozzerella (AWESOME!). The other had a red sauce with bacon. It was also very tasty, but the white pizza was my favorite. The crusts on both were delicious! I LOVE LOVE LOVE RUGGLES!! I love the fact that this location is BYOB. There is a corking fee of $5 or $6. I was afraid they were going to charge us twice for the corking fee because we brought a 1.5L bottle of wine instead of the "normal" 750ml but they didn't! Yay! They did comment on how big it was, though. ;) - The employees are super nice 99% of the time. - Food is awesome. It's always nice and hot and steaming when I get it. My boyfriend is very picky with how his meat is cooked and both times, his Kobe burger was cooked perfectly. Although, we both thought that it was a little ridiculous that the Kobe burger didn't come with any kind of side. It was $15 JUST for the burger. -_- (lol) - Dessert. TWO WORDS. CHARLOTTE'S WEB. OMG. - They have Sriracha! Oh and lots of other condiments which I like, because I am the condiment Queen. Tip: I'm not sure if they are still selling these cards, but about a month ago, we were offered a Go Local Houston discount card for $10. The card gives you 10% off your entire meal every time you use it and it's already paid itself off. Considering the prices of the menu items, the savings add up quickly (depending on how often you go, of course). There is meter parking as well as a free garage in City Centre. This was easy to find - it's right across from lululemon. You order and pay at the front and your food is brought out to you. All the utensils, napkins and drinks are also at the front. I got the margherita pizza and my friend got the quinoa mac and cheese. If you sign up for their program on your phone you get a voucher for a free dessert so we did that and got the white chocolate bread pudding. The pizza was really good ($12.99) and they only had one size so it was shareable too. The mac and cheese was super cheesy. The bread pudding cake with ice cream and raspberry syrup that was great. We stopped by the place last Saturday as I read somewhere else that Ruggles Green is having their soft opening. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a painting of a penguin playing hockey. With that out of the way, I scanned the menu on the top of the wall behind the counter until my neck is tired. Then I switched to the regular menu and jump straight to the pizza. I ordered the Dale's pizza, Steak and Shrimp pizza, and Ruggles Green Veggie Nut Burger while my friends waited for someone to leave the booth so we can steal the seats as no one wanted to sit at the table areas because all the cool kids sit at the booth. They gave me my number (42 - meaning of life) and I saw that we did get a nice booth facing the center of the CityCentre. They gave us 3 unique shape glass for our water and I also helped myself to some condiments (free pickles, roasted garlic, some sort of spicy ketchup)and utensils. The decorations is very pleasant with the high ceilings and each lights look like an upside down flower being dried for preservation. Our food came out in good time and they left our numbers at the table. I had to go back up and ask for 3 plates as 3 of us are sharing the 2 pizzas and the burger. Dale's pizza was OK but I couldn't taste the proscuitto ham and it was too salty. While the steak and shrimp pizza had decent amount of steak cubes and shrimps for topping, but it was a bit bland. I couldn't taste the garlic flavor in both pizzas so I had to help myself to some of those roasted garlic as toppings for my slices. But the pizzas itself is cooked great with the burnt flavor of the crust and it's not greasy at all. The vege nut burger was quite interesting as I bit into the patty, you get this Indian spice aroma flavor in your mouth, rather than nutty flavor as I thought it would have been. I had originally reviewed this place low after trying their burger. After reaching out to the team, I decided to give them another shot and was very impressed! I ordered the salmon pasta and the hempanadas, and both were fantastic. The pasta had some interesting flavors with the addition of capers, pesto sauce, and olives. Bella Green is one of my favorite places to go as a Vegetarian because there are so many options. I usually stick with the veggie burger and sweet potatoes fries and occasionally the hummus. Can't say I'm impressed with this location. Definitely will not return unless the person who suggests it is paying. First off - it's not full service. You have to stand through the line to order and get all your own utensils and whatnot to take to your table. You get a number and they do bring your food to the table, but I was expecting more 'service'. As for the food, the buffalo burger is AWESOME! I could not tell the difference in it and regular meat - it was tasty AF. The sweet potato fries were a non mover for me - I could have done without them and the fire roasted tomato soup - no. Just no. Didn't like the flavor, though I do see how they attempted to execute it. Blah. Not a winner for me. read more

Best bread pudding ever. I'm not even a sweets person, but this item is so good. Must have if you come!! I've been here a few times and I honestly prefer the dessert over their savory foods. I got carrot cake yesterday and that was really good as well. All their desserts are $7 and you have the option of making it gluten free for an extra $1, for you health nuts. So I heard from dearest friends that the bread pudding was off the hook here.. yea.. uh huh.. well Yelpers.. it's true! It's pretty darn good! I also tried the Domino (chocolate cake with white something) and the Strawberry cake. The Domino was pretty good sweet and the Strawberry cake was ehhhh and kind of dry. I was in Houston for the night, so my friend and I decided to eat at Ruggles Green. Food: They have many healthy options at Ruggles. I ordered the All Natural Beef Burger and I really enjoyed it. Having "All-Natural" in the name makes me feel very good about my health lol I was honestly nervous about it being too green but the burger had so much flavor! I actually liked the whole-wheat bun that's given with the burger! The fries were great too! I just wish they would've been thinner and crispier! 7/10 for the fries! I think it deserves 3.5 stars. Atmosphere: It's a lively place depending on what day you go. Normally, I choose to sit outside and sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit when it's busy. Ruggles has a certain smell to it when you walk in. I can't exactly pinpoint what it smells like, but it doesn't smell good to me! Food: I usually always get fish tacos, they're pretty good and the portion is big so I normally share with somebody. They're known for their white chocolate bread pudding, but some would say that the Ruggles in Rice Village is better. It's good at City Center, too! Their burgers, pizzas, and pastas are nothing to rave about. Their creme brûlée wasn't very good when I had it. It tasted too soft and runny almost. Service: Mediocre.
