I only tried one dish here: their signature white chocolate bread pudding. I was so excited to try this b/c I had my first bread pudding experiences recently, but instead all I got was an overly-sweetened, uneatable dessert. My friend wouldn't even help me finish. I think only if I drenched the pudding in black coffee would the sweetness become bearable. On the other hand, the dessert was plated very well (see picture). I have to give major cred to that b/c I enjoy well-presented food. Furthermore, usually pretty food means tiny portions, but the bread pudding is a beast of a dessert -- a boatload of pudding is what I thought. The pudding part was very good too, and the berries were a nice touch (and not too sweet haha). The service was also top notch for me. There's a service button at the table (that actually works), and you can choose anywhere to sit b/c you receive an electronic card that lets them know which table to go to. I like the separation of counter from the seating area too. The entire establishment is very clean and modern (I love air hand dryers). Despite all the good, this place only deserves a two-star rating. The restaurant is pricey, and when I pay good money for a signature dish, I expect satisfaction. I came here with my boyfriend, my sister, and her boyfriend last night for a casual birthday dinner. I ordered the Mac and Cheese and my boyfriend the BBQ Hawaiian pizza. The Mac and cheese is good but dry, definitely not my favorite, mostly being a Parmesan cheese. The pizza however was really good, spicy and sweet at the same time! Also a good size! My co-workers and I went during lunch hour. It does get pretty busy. The only table they had available was outside. It was pretty sunny out and quite warm. I had the buffalo burger with sweet potato fries. It was delicious. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The fries were crunchy. One of my co-workers ordered the bread pudding. My fiancé and I came here with some friends for brunch. It was a beautiful day and we were lucky enough to find outdoor seating. Place is dog friendly too! Watch out for the tables by the trees because there were some unfriendly birds perched above that might add "ranch dressing" to your salad. We ordered the Cuban pork panini with sweet potato fries, blackened shrimp salad and the white chocolate bread pudding. The panini itself was dry but the pork was delicious and the fries were like your generic sweet potato fries. I really enjoyed the blackened shrimp salad. It had a lot of ingredients that don't seem like they would work together but it did. I also liked that they didn't douse the salad with dressing. To top off the meal we got their famous bread pudding which didn't disappoint. The pudding was warm when it arrived. The combination of the chocolate and ice cream with the pudding made it that much better. The pudding did come with some strawberry sauce that I didn't care for. Can't believe I've never reviewed this location! Had a lunch date here today and it clicked I hadn't reviewed it yet. Employees are always so friendly and accommodating and the food is always fresh. I've never had anything here I didn't like and this location never gets your order wrong! Love sitting on the patio and watching all the kids play. We have visited Ruggles Green in many occasions and loved it. The new Bellagreen was disappointing. In fairness, we only purchased drinks so I'm not commenting on the food. The counter service was not nearly as friendly as in the past and the restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly all day-the bathrooms and floors were dirty which was never the case in the past. read more

Bathrooms were gross and dysfunctional. Half of the sinks and soap dispensers weren't working. The layout was strange. There were only two sinks for men and women and they were located in a communal space that was open to the public. I visited Ruggles today for the first time . I had heard great things about this place and how great it is for healthy eating. First impression - it was just OK , not great and it did not blow me away . I ordered the salmon salad and it was not the best salmon I've had , it was not even close . The Resturant is set up so that you stand in a line -order your food -pay-go find a seat and once seated they bring you your food . I wasn't really a fan of that either because if you need anything else you have to get up and go get it or get up and order another drink etc .... This place is disgusting - when we got our food I went to register and asked for some extra plates to share food, girl at the counter grabs 4 plates which had crumbs on it from previous use. Asked if they were even clean and asked for new plates to replace the dirty ones - she grabs two more and sees stuff on them also. Busboy was cleaning the dirty counter next to her so she grabs his cloth he was wiping counter with and wipes the plates with them and hands the plates to me. Told her to keep the plates and told the manager about it as well, not that it seemed like they cared. Absolutely disgusting - I don't recommend going. The interior is spacious and outdoor seating is plentiful. I ordered a Cuban Panini and it was DELICIOUS. It's really more like a toasted sandwich than a panini, but still good. The pork was thinly sliced and perfectly seasoned. The side of sweet potato fries was pretty generic but still good as well. I prefer their outdoor seating over indoor seating, if weather permits. I feel that their indoor seating area needs some renovation considering that they are in such a prime location. Outdoor seating, on the other hand, is very nice, and hence in a pleasant evening difficult to get a table outside on peak hours. According to the restaurant, they focus on making each dish with natural ingredients. I do believe that they do use natural ingredients and their dishes seem to me to be on a healthier side. Well, and just like most healthy foods, not all of their dishes taste yummy. Imo their dishes are priced reasonably. I've been eating here for years. Their problem IMO is the inconsistency. It's either great or terrible. Today was not good. The cashier was unfriendly and seemed highly annoyed that I pulled her away from drying cups to place my order. There were bugs flying all around inside and every few seconds you heard the loud "whack!" of a towel from one of the staff trying to kill them. The food was just okay. The cauliflower wings were a disappointment. I didn't see any cream for the coffee anywhere and I looked. Since I had my hands full of drinks, silverware, napkins, water, etc., I headed outside to a table. When the waiter brought the food, I asked if there was any creamer for the coffee. He said yes, H&H and almond milk. I asked if he could please bring some H&H and he said no it's self-serve, it's by the coke fountain. (I swear I looked and saw nothing). Just not a good experience today. Every chair outside had bird poop on it. Maybe they can hose them down once in a while or something. Great patio location though, the best in CityCentre. read more

i have to say i am a fan of Ruggles , although it's a bit over priced and i can't say that everything on the menu is delicious , i really like their concept and the items that are really good on the menu really make it up. i love dishes that feel light and refreshing but still makes you feel extremely full and satisfying and i think they do a good job here. my go to favorites that i would recommend trying: - grilled fish tacos - the salmon salad, substitute for garlic poppy seed dressing instead of the ranch dressing - cuban pork panini - turkey lettuce wrap , which could be a meal in itself even though it's meant to be an appetizer - sweet potato fries, i'm not sure why but theirs is just so good ! parking sucks at this location, and the restroom stalls stinks, but they have a nice patio and service is always friendly. i recommend coming here for a healthy lunch or dinner especially when the weather is nice outside , the patio is also dog friendly ! read more

Being Newley vegan, I am always looking for vegan restaurants to try. Bellagreen has a few vegan friendly menu options. I stopped by 3 times this week to try a few. The restaurant is clean with an abundance of both indoor and outdoor seating. I love the alternative fountain drinks that have compared to your traditional coke or Pepsi products at most restaurants. The vanilla agave cream & black cherry sodas are my favorite flavors to enjoy. I had the opportunity to try the veggie burger (can be made vegan or vegetarian), veggie spinach wrap, and the spicy roasted veggie pasta. The veggie burger was great and unique. The patty was semi crispy on the outside but a soft and flavorful texture on the inside. I do however wish there was an option for vegan cheese on the burger, maybe something to consider as it would be a nice touch. It also came with a side of sweet potato fries. This is a great option for lunch or dinner. The veggie spinach wrap was everything I expected it to be. The sautéed mushrooms were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Easy to eat, this dish also came with a side of sweet potato fries. This is a great option for lunch. The spicy roasted vegetable pasta was a hearty dish and very filling. It had a moderate level of spiciness (nothing to serious) that was balanced out by an equal level of sweetness. This is a great vegan dinner option, and although it was tasty it was my least favorite of the three dishes I tried. I give Bellagreen five stars. It's great if you are looking for a casual place to get a conscious meal. The outdoor seating is great if the weather is sunny or if you have kids because there is also a park where you can watch your kids while you enjoy your meal. read more

They are simply dishes but when crafted with great ingredients the results are top notch. Lately, I've been having the salmon salad, and I have to say it's outstanding. The salmon comes perfectly cooked every time, and the dressings are all homemade, it just doesn't get any better than that. My daughter loves the chicken tenders and the cheese pizza, by the way the cheese pizza is great. Also, save some space for dessert, the gluten free carrot came is outstanding. My wife is gluten intolerant, and that carrot came is maybe one of the best GF desserts in town. You cannot go wrong with this dish in my opinion. Juicy, flavorful, and plenty of food. Very irritated with my experience at bellagreen today. I ordered a veggie nut burger but was given a turkey burger and didn't realize until I had eaten a quarter of it. As a vegetarian, I was of course shocked and appalled by this. I took my receipt to the counter to show that I received the wrong order and the waitress gave me attitude as if she wasn't the one who placed my order in the first place.
