I also really enjoyed the potatoes, which were soft and flavorful. Manage your expectation for the sausages! It's not your usual soft sausage, but it's more of a texture that's more in line with what you taste in Europe. It tastes like you are eating actual meat and not something ultra processed. I do wish they had a better hot sauce option. The one that came with the meal was pretty tangy, while I was looking for something more like chili oil, which I think would pair much better with this dish. I've been coming here for almost ten years, and customer service is a bit of a hit and miss, as the other reviewers mentioned. However, the coffee and pastries have always been consistent. They are the rock of the business, and that rock is solid. Their ham and cheese croissant is a relatively low-profile item compared to the other cakes and pastries, but it's definitely the best thing here. I'm not sure what's in those croissants, but they're AMAZING. In addition, this cafe provides a wonderful atmosphere for taking cute photos or a great place to study (most importantly). When I was in high school, I used to walk here after class and study. When I was in college, I drove here to study after class. Now that I work full-time, I still drive here to work. read more

Belle Pastry was my favorite oasis in Old Bellevue to stop in for lunch. I always order the salmon gluten free quiche. On my recent visit the quiche had two pieces of dark hair in it. Yuk. I wanted to report it to staff but could not find anyone as they were all in the back or on break or something. This photo is of one of the pieces of hair. Since I could not find an employee to show it to I took this photo and threw the quiche away and left disgusted. This place is def going downhill fast. Always shorting my order on doordash, (at least four times) and then have some excuse like the driver picked it up wrong. Specifically among other issues, if you order and pay for the 6 croissants, only one will arrive, EVER. I continue on because normally they have flavorful sandwiches and desserts but just tasted a bit of Crisco-creme- Crisco Brulee with again, a short on the croissant order, big difference between 6 and one. This is my favorite bakery on the east side! I've tried most of the pastries here and everything is great! What I really like is that they don't put too much sugar in the cakes and the macaroons. They change the macaroon flavors from time to time so it's always exciting to come to the bakery and see what they have that day. I'm waiting for a perfect occasion to order a macaroon tower from here. They just look so pretty! There are lots of different cakes to choose from. I have been visiting Belle Pastry since 2007 and I always feel happy and very satisfied with their products and service. But today they exceeded all my previous experiences. I ordered a cake online few days ago but I was never asked to pay in advance, which is unusual in this kind of orders. Belle Pastry is a popular local spot for those in the area. The coffee is decent--while it might not satisfy a coffee connoisseur, it's generally better than Starbucks for the average customer. The pastries, however, can be hit or miss--often overly sweet and lacking in flavor. On the other hand, the sandwiches are a better option, especially if toasted. Despite the inconsistencies, I still enjoy stopping by Belle for my occasional morning coffee and plan to keep coming back for it. read more

I go to there Redmond location often but I was in a Bellevue this week end and found that they moved to a brand new location just next to where they se to be. Store is very nice, bigger and look way newer. I like the fact that there is more space between tables so you can have more private conversations. Pastries wise, same quality and choice! Favourite Pastry shop in old Bellevue, delicious Pain Au Chocolats (request them to be heated for the best experience). We are regulars and love their mocha as well. the cheese mouse is so good (and I rarely like cheese mouses). The brioche is the best brioche I had outside of France. My only advice, I ordered a bagel and the buzzer they gave me never went off. I went up an hour later to ask for it to go and the only response I got was, "well someone must have walked off with it and "the buzzer should've gone off if you were inside". Never got my bagel. So if you order food, be more diligent than I was and do not rely on the buzzer, it doesn't go off and they implied that it doesn't work if you sit outside.
