I bought 4 new tires for my F150 about a year ago and recently picked up a nail in the rear tire. I went to where I bought the tires and the counter guy asked if I was going to leave the truck. I told him I was unable to do that and he began to tell me how busy they were and if I couldn't leave the truck it would be at least 2 days! After installing 2 new tires, Belle Tire gave me a fraudulent estimate for $3,000 of unnecessary repairs. My honest mechanic said it appeared they never drove the car - if they had, they would have recommended a $400 tune up, possibly new struts. None of which are necessary at this point. I realize this is an allegation - but I have evidence. It is sad that an Assistant Manager tried to pull the wool over the eyes of this non-mechanic senior citizen for ( likely) a small commission. After spending almost two hours at a separate belle tire that was having equipment issues I got sent here, promised I'd be taken care of asap and at a discount, after I got here I watched other people come and go so I ask for an eta in which the guy at the counter tells me I'll have to replace ball joints, wheel bearings and more but I told him to stop. At the previous belle tire they already inspected my vehicle and told me I needed new axel pivot bushings (and they showed me and I got them fixed and it made a big difference in my trucks suspension) but after that I would be set for an alignment, not according to this belle tire that was suppose to have me "in and out" they needed over 1000$ of work supposedly while bashing the previous belle tire. I come from a mechanics family and an alignment is one of the very few things me or my family can't do, these experiences make me dread ever needing another alignment! read more

Old-fashioned, stereotypical, cheating, untrustworthy shop. I took my car there for an alignment. The price of service was reasonable, but not low. However, they weren't willing to do the alignment because they claimed a tie rod was frozen and required a thousand some dollar repair before they could do the alignment. I took it to another shop and the tie rod issue wasn't found. This isn't the first time Belle Tire has been unscrupulous. They also "found" needed repairs on my stepdaughter's vehicle that were questionable. We didn't get them done and her vehicle has been fine. My son's car had a slight vibration on the the passenger side. They told him all four of his shots were shot. He knows nothing about vehicles. He agreed to have the work done and they charged him $2000 for four shocks for a Honda Civic. At most they should've cost $700 complete and total nonsense about it being an economical place to get anything done. Plus they missed a leaking tire in the back. He took it there to get the wheels balanced so dishonest.. They were asked if they did inspect the wheels and balance tires. 0h, sure--two days later a leak was found in that tire. This shop feels sketchy for sure. Find someplace else. read more

This was a Belle Tire failure and poor customer service. Not all Belle Tire locations are bad, this one, is not so good. Vehicle in for a routine oil change, and then the up-sale began, telling me my vehicle needed $1600 worth of repair. My vehicle is fully warrantied with an extended plan. Instead of up-selling me, they should have taken care of finishing the oil change properly!!!! The metal shield under my vehicle, which needed to be removed in order to change the oil, was not reinstalled properly. Instead, they had secured only one of the three screw points. Last night while driving, following the oil change that day, the shield was dragging while driving. I had to pull over and crawl under the car in order to remove the shield that was dragging and sparking. I took pictures of it just to prove it. This morning I brought the vehicle back into the same Belle Tire location and they wanted me to wait over an hour for a bay to open up in order to fix what they should have reinstalled properly in the first place yesterday, instead of trying to up-sell me. Unacceptable to make me sit and wait for any period of time, especially when I looked into the shop area and I could see multiple people standing around and not working. Poor Service, and especially no understanding of customer service, and they did not complete the job they were paid for, and then wanting to make me wait for them to fix the matter they caused!?!?Unacceptable. Furthermore, if this part would have become totally dislodged while driving, it could have caused a whole host of different problems, including damage to my vehicle, and a potential road hazard! I went in for tires, got a free "inspection" without asking or expecting one. They said I needed $2,200 of work on my control arm bushings and leaky struts (very odd for a car with only 39,000 miles!) I took it into Gerry's Tires in Saline for a second opinion... nothing wrong, bushings and struts were fine. I recommend that you avoid this Belle Tire store like the plague in the first place so that you won't have to run for the hills later. Dishonest, predatory, scoundrels. (I got the following reply from "Jenn C" minutes after leaving my review. Notice there is no number or email address to "reach out" to their "customer service team". Suspecting that "Jenn C" was nothing more than an AI bot, I called the store, and they gave me the number to corporate HQ. The "customer service" option on their menu leads to a "All of our representatives are busy, please leave a message" dead end. It's all a scam designed to make it look like there are actual people who care about customers. Jenn C, please reply with how to reach you if you are more than a bit of BS computer code. Called yesterday and they told me they would order tires and call me when they came in so I could go there and get them installed. (Rochester Hills store) I called them at noon and they said they just arrived so I went there and they told me it would be a 2 hour wait. I said no problem I will wait. They do have nice waiting room! But after 2 and a half hours I went to ask what was going on with my wait and I noticed that o their board it said I still wasn't assigned a technician where someone who's car was promised to be ready at 7:30 was in a stall already but still not even a technician assigned to my vehicle yet And my Promised time was 2:20 and it's 2:40! I was told that I was next to go in. More Bullcrap since I watched 2 vehicles come out and 1 go in (which should have been me as I was told!) So I waited 10 more minutes than just left. Saturday was crazy busy but the shop did a great job of getting everything done and were patient and professional in the whole process. I was impressed because the amount of phone calls wanting service and people in the shop was a lot at times. The work was done correctly and not rushed which is another great thing also. I spent over $1,900 on a full brake replacement for my F-150 FX4 2012. The first time they replaced them, not even two weeks later I felt a vibration and a squeal. I took it in, and Moose from Belleville, MI, said, "Oh, that's normal, and they will wear even." This brings us to the second time. I brought it in, and they replaced the whole front and said they upgraded the fronts, and nothing was wrong with the rear. Then I started hearing the rear start squealing and pulling. So, this past weekend of June 20th, they replaced and said they upgraded the rear. Now, as of 6-23-25, the rear are squealing even louder, and now the pressure of my brakes is soft, and my truck slows down but doesn't stop. So, what are we doing here, guys, with your ASE certifications? I will be contacting Corporate as I've wasted enough time off work getting them fixed. How can we resolve this issue before I go up the ladder? read more

The staff has always treated me pleasantly with dignity and respect. Due to the fact I am paralyzed on my left side, I cannot kneel nor bend over to check my tire pressure. No problem here. I bought a set of snow tires and aftermarket wheels from Belle and have been back for seasonal tire switches back to those crappy OEM Bridgestone tires on my Honda Civic. They have also checked out my tires when the darn TPMS light came on the dash (twice) and did not charge me for diagnosing the problem. They have certainly earned my business. Last fall (Fall 2016), I replaced those junk OEM Bridgestone tires with a set of high-end Michelin Defenders and my car handles and brakes much better! Best $950 investment I have made. Although I got the speil about how they had better products, I did not wish to pay $340 bucks for front brakes when they are less costly at Belle. This is the first time I visited this location. The gentleman at the front desk was attentive. My car got in quickly. There is a TV, free wifi and even a table to connect your devices for power. They did a balance of my tires and told me that the brakes were the same all the way around. They did not bash the dealer but stated that they make mistakes. They looked to see if the tires were done by them but could not find them. They did not charge me anything regardless. They are around the corner from my job and will be my new spot. I work in home health care. I was on the road when the check engine light came on. Belle Tire/Ellsworth was up ahead. I've been there before so decided to pull in. They ran diagnostics, couldn't find anything but they figured it was the gas cap. At the same time, they suggested I get new brake pads since they were below 3mm. Huh, just had all that checked 4 weeks previous but could not recall exactly what the brake lining measurements were. Again, on the road a lot for home health care. Safety is important so I said, go ahead and replace the brake pads. Well, for one reason or another it took another hour and a half to get the job done. As I'm checking out I'm told the grand total is 565.00. ???? Yeah, replaced 2 rotors but I definitely never agreed to that. Which is what I said. Except dude looked me straight in the eyes and said that is not what he recalled. So, it's my word against his. Plus I needed to get back to work. Later, I check the invoice for the work I had done a month before my experience with Belle Tire. Brake lining measurements for LF and RF at 6mm. Brake lining measurements for LR and RR at 8mm. So as far as I'm concerned, I was suckered. I sure feel like a sucker. Plus, guess what? This morning the check engine light came on again. read more

I need to leave another review for Belle Tire. I've always been pretty happy with their services, until a week ago. I took my friends car in for them to get tires looked at. He needed them all replaced. Got them! Then they said his rack and pinion was leaking severely and needed replaced. Have a quote. Said ok let's do it. Called me and said they forgot to add labor into the invoice. So, the amount went from 440.00 to over a thousand dollars. He really didn't have that after just purchasing four new tires. They said they could do it Saturday, it was Friday and we agreed. Saturday came and we were called to be told it couldn't be done til Monday. This is after I asked several times would it be done Saturday due to him leaving. Oh yes it will. Now we are in a huge dilemma. Had to leave car til Monday to get worked on. So not only were we quoted the wrong cost, we were told the wrong day. I felt we should have received the work for what was stated on the estimate. They did give us a few dollars off the power steering fluid but come on. Your stories weren't even straight about what happened. I'm tired of being ripped off by companies that think they can get away with it. I'm afraid to even have an oil change anymore thinking someone will forget to put a new filter back on or plug the oil pan. Belle Tire, I'm not sure I can recommend you all any longer. read more

My car needed a new muffler/ exhaust system so I took my civic to the Honda dealership down the road. They couldn't help me today because they "didn't have the parts." What? Why? You're literally a Honda dealership. It's Friday and they told me to come back first thing Monday. Ain't nobody got time for that! So then I went to BELLE TIRE. These guys were so awesome. They got my car in quickly and diagnosed the problem. They had some of the parts, but not all of them. They said it wouldn't be a problem because they have a parts guy down the street who will deliver the rest of the parts immediately. I was so impressed. On my most recent trip, I was looking for a true all-weather snow-rated tire. The manager directed me to a product I didn't even know existed (Toyo Celsius) and gave me a great deal that included a rebate. I also opted for their Freedom Plan Advantage, which is an excellent deal for owners of AWD vehicles. No high pressure sales tactics involved. I got a present during our first Winter storm on Sat, Nov 21st - nail in the tire! I drove around all day on Sunday and only noticed when I got home to find that my rear driver tire was half empty... somehow, I made it to work Monday morning... somehow I drove and made it to Belle Tire with little air in the tire. I knew they were busy and would take a while to fix it... so dropped it off during my lunch time... got a call around 2:30pm and was informed the tire was fixed... and it was free, which you can't beat!! This is why I go to Belle Tire only for all my tire services. On top of that, this location was a savior because it's within five minutes from the office. The person who helped me when I dropped the car off was helpful and friendly and it was the same person that checked-in with when I picked up the car. Great service and great location!! read more

I would have given this Belle Tire location a one-star rating if I wasn't able to work with the corporate customer service department. My car troubles started with a nail in my tire. I brought my car in to get the tire fixed and continued to have issues with that specific tire for months and had to continuously come back and ask for the tire to be fixed. I was eventually told that I needed a new wheel. After receiving a new wheel, I still continued to have issues with my tire going flat. I eventually became frustrated after probably 4 separate "repairs" here and endless filling the tire with air on my part that I took my car to another mechanic. This new mechanic informed me that the tire repair that had been done was so poor that I would need to get a new tire because Belle Tire's repair had damaged my tire beyond repair. I was also informed that the new wheel that had been placed on my car was the wrong size, didn't fit my car, and was very cheaply made. I was able to get reimbursed for the poor service I received after calling the corporate customer service. I would not recommend coming to this location unless you need to use their free tire air. read more

Woke up this morning to my wife saying the vans tire light came on and it said low pressure. She thought it just needed air, but I figured it was probably a leak. I called a couple shops in town where we live and no one was open on a Saturday and the one said he could "maybe" get it in today. I called this Belle Tire and he said to bring it in and can get it done sometime today. I brought it there at 9am today ( Saturday). I figured it would take all day since there were a lot of cars in the lot and people sitting waiting. We went grocery shopping and came back to check on it and it was inside the garage. I went in to see if it was done and the guy said it just got done. There was a screw that caused the tire light to come on. They patched the hole and DID NOT charge me!! That made my day better especially since it was a Saturday. I thought I was going to owe at least $30 like the local shop in town charges. From the time I dropped it off to the time I picked it up was a little over an hour. I understand the other comments about the wait time, etc. It's an auto repair shop. You can't expect it to be done in 5 minutes. However, I think if Belle Tire designates one employee to just doing the simple flat repairs or tire leaks, the wait times for other customers will go faster. I bought an older Honda Fit for a commuter vehicle, and I brought it to this Belle Tire location for brand new wheels & tires. Purchasing them wasn't the issue... shortly after installation, again of brand new wheels & tires the Belle Tire employee recommended, the TMPS light (not the low pressure light) on my Honda kept coming on, which was not an issue before the new tires were put on my vehicle. I made an appointment thinking no worries, this kind of thing happens... When I got to the lobby, I explained in great detail what was going on, what I wanted & what I expected to be done to correct the issue. They brought my vehicle in the bay, put it up & about two hours pass. I walked up to the counter & asked how things were going, and they said we are done & will be parking it soon. I then asked what was wrong, and what they did to fix the issue. The guy at the computer told me it was two bad TMPS sensors that had to be replaced. I also asked about why the back two tires seemed to have lost about 12psi, and were at ~20, back in the summer time, and specifically why this would happen with brand new tires & rims. The guy behind the computer then called in the tech who worked on my wheels / tires. The guy behind the computer asked the tech ~"so you replaced the two TMPS sensors, right? Did you check the pressure on the tires? The customer said they were low.". The tech then says "no, we didn't replace any TMPS sensors, we just deflated the tires & re-inflated them...". At that point the guy behind the computer looks at me all puzzled, and I am clearly beyond angered. I told the guy behind the computer, that I specifically told you in the beginning what was wrong & what I wanted done to remedy the issue & deflating the tires, and re-inflating them, was not why my TPMS light is on, in my vehicle. The guy behind the computer then says, sorry Sir, this is a Honda, we don't have the codes... you will need to take it to the Honda Service shop. It was at this point that I didn't even argue with the guy & just walked away in disbelief. Your whole specialty is "Tires", and you don't know how to resolve a TPMS issue without telling a customer to go to the vehicle's manufacture's service shop!? Apparently they also don't specialize in wheel / tire balancing, because at about 65mph the front tires shakes like it is not at all balanced. Other amazing things I personally witnessed was an 84 year old guy who asked if they could replace the guy's oil pan nut, and the guy behind the computer (different than the one helping me) got so upset with the old guy, that he actually yelled at him, right in front of 5 customers. I was highly disappointed in the Belle Tire employee, and couldn't believe I witnessed this, versus the guy just getting his manager, and / or just telling the guy - sorry we can't / won't do this work. My advice; unless you need a simple tire puncture patched, is to stay far, far away from this business, at least this specific location! If you can't even properly install brand new wheels & tires on a car, you have NO businesses specializing in "Tires". Sad! Extremely sad in ALL regards! read more
