Unfortunately the best thing about this place is the decor and service (cool star wars/hipster vibe and attentive service). I was very excited to try this place since I read great reviews about it and it is in a very cute neighborhood. However, the dishes that we tried were disappointing. I had a Veggie bake which is a bunch of vegetables with tofu and eggs - it was bland and underseasoned, lacking even salt. My fiance tried the pork loin benedict (pork, bbq sauce, olives, goat cheese) - the combination sounded interesting but the flavors just do not work together. The bbq sauce is too sweet and the dish cannot decide which direction it wants to go in. All in all I am unlikely to come back here. read more

A very nice small cafe. There are just a handful of tables, with nice and helpful staff. My girlfriend and I have been several times for brunch on Sunday, they typically have a very short wait of around 5-10 min. The Turkey Conquistador is a great concoction of potatoes, turkey, sun dried tomatoes, and goat cheese in a cast iron skillet. The skillet lends a very nice crunchy texture, and the whole mess gets all melty and wonderful. Good stuff! read more

This is one of my favorite weekend (or weekday) breakfast/ brunch locations, and it doesn't hurt that it's within walking distance of so many other cool things in Bellevue. The bistro is really well decorated, and can lead to an intimate dining experience, or to a fun group hangout. The Bellevue breakfast bake is amazing, and the goetta is amazing. The turkey conquistador is also good, but the turkey is cut up turkey cold cuts, which is not ideal. read more

This was our first time in historic Bellevue and our first time at Bellevue Bistro. I was delightfully surprised with the variety of the brunch menu! The veggie breakfast bake was excellent. My sister got the French toast and it was good too. The food came out hot and quickly! The atmosphere is very eclectic and fun. It was busy this afternoon when we had lunch, they seemed to be low on staff because it took a while for us to cash out. Overall, an above average breakfast joint in a beautiful historic district. Breakfast brunch and lunch, all delicious. The breakfast bakes are my favorite for sure. I get the vegetarian option but sub the rosemary potatoes. Mmm. My only complaint is that sitting outside on a nice day, which should be quite lovely, is ruined by the never ending line of trucks that cruise down Fairfield Avenue. They are so loud! Delicious! Service was slow (we were the only ones in there for the majority of our visit on a Friday morning for breakfast) but the food was amazing! I got the Double Decker breakfast sandwich and shared it with my 21 month old (he can eat! We went for breakfast. Everyone at our table ordered the goetta, eggs, and potato meal. It was just okay. The potatoes were greasy and the goetta was overly dry. It's a cute place though. So, I've been here about 5 or 6 times now for breakfast. It's my favorite weekend breakfast spot. Every time I go I tell myself I am going to venture out on the menu but I always go back to my original order of the spicy mett bake. It's incredible, and that bacon jam... yum. I guess if you get it right the first time there is no need to venture. The server told me they get their spicy metts and other meats from the owners relatives over at meiners meats in Cincy, and I've now been there a few times too. Great place! Check it out! read more

WOW! How have I not reviewed this place yet?? I tell every new person I meet about this place and how excellent they are so now I need to shout it from the rooftops! BB, your food is incredible! Its so gourmet without being pretentious. You have BACON JELLY- how awesome is that?!?!? I have never ordered a bad thing there and the mimosas are huge and priced at a reasonable $3.50. The restaurant has a cute local art feel with a subtle star wars vibe.. it might be a wait but its well worth it. The only thing I have to complain about is that the service is slow sometimes but the food makes up for it :) BB, I will continue to recommend you to everyone who has never tasted your greatness. Solid breakfast menu with good paleo and gluten free options. My favorite is the skillet breakfast but it can be a bit on the greasy side.

The waitress was rude about telling us what they didn't have. You are out of pretzel buns, you don't have breakfast and you have no idea what kind of beer you have? Fine. Just don't make me feel like I should have known. Also, we were there two hours before they were supposed to close, but were made to feel like we were ruining their day. I live a couple miles away and frequent the Bistro, from the breakfast bakes to the sandwiches you can't beat it. Love the variety the menu offers and the food is reasonably priced. Only knock I have is that you may find yourself waiting on a table due to the small, intimate layout. read more

Just wow. I came here for brunch with the guys before we started work. The food is so good! I wish I had a place like this back home. It doesn't have a lot of seating but you should try it. I walked in just looking for a new place in the Cincy/Nky area, but was surprised to find that the unassuming and rustic decor belies some of the best, most well priced food in the area. Portions are generous, flavors are phenomenal, and service was quick and friendly. Christian, our server, was a delight. My girlfriend ordered a "mimosa" which, while not looking or tasting like a mimosa, was equally chuggable and delicious. Came for breakfast on a Sunday. Everyone's food was great, and we were all able to take some home with us, which was good since the prices weren't outrageous, but weren't exactly low either. We arrived around 10 which was apparently just in time because about 15 minutes later there were a ton of people waiting. It's a tiny little place, but they didn't exactly try to turn tables around quickly, which was odd. My only problem was that our waitress was wearing tight low cut jeans and a tiny shirt that showed 4-5 inches of stomach. I'm a liberal, 20-something woman, but honestly, I really don't want a face-level view of your belly while I'm trying to eat breakfast with my in-laws. read more

My husband ordered a $6 cocktail and it tasted like bottom shelf at an all inclusive. Food is always delicious, but service could use some serious work. After waiting for over 15 minutes (with no one else waiting) and being completely ignored by the waitress, we sat ourselves at a dirty table. About 25 minutes after that the server finally acknowledged us, took the dirty plates off the table and walked away. We were about to leave when she finally Came back to take our orders. We started to order but were informed they were completely out of all bread. We changed our order and then after our food came, I had to hunt down the server for something and found her enjoying a fresh plate of French toast so I guess she found some bread! No refills on water despite the restaurant being empty by the time we got our food because they ended up closing about 2 hours early and we were the last table to sit. Not the first time service has been rough, unfortunately. I was willing to give a second chance because the food is so good, but I doubt I'll be back after this time around. read more

I went there with my husband and two little girls. We ordered shortly after we arrived. 35 minutes after we ordered, they brought out unappetizing fruit that we ordered for the girls. About 40 minutes after we ordered, they brought my girls food out which looked fine. 45 minutes after we ordered, the waitress came to the table saying they left our breakfast in the oven too long and it was burnt pretty badly. Needless to say we opted not to have them remake our food. They comped our coffees and charged us for the food that was served. I can't comment on how the food tasted because after being there for an hour, I hadn't had a bite of food. I would've loved to give 5 stars, but I had a little glitch in my breakfast that I will address later. My friend and I had stopped in Bellevue, searching for a now closed winery. We noticed the sign and decided to check it out. We were on the beginning of a tour of the wineries scattered all over N. Ky and wanted to have breakfast first. The interior is interesting, cramped a bit, but cozy. I really liked the atmosphere, and it seemed busy, even though not crowded at 1:30pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon. After pondering the menu, the Goetta grilled cheese just jumped out at me. The gentleman at the table next to us highly recommended it after popping the last morsel into his mouth. I wish I could remember what my friend had, but she loved it.. The dish inside of the cast iron bake, with the sun dried tomatoes and cheese all over. I chose the Goetta grilled cheese. I absolutely loved it, and as expected the mixture of the goetta, with the cheese was divine. Now to the downfall, the potatoes were literally cold. That's it. I didn't bother asking to have them heated up, because I just don't prefer eating reheated food in a restaurant. They looked delicious, and I will return, because I love the wineries down there.
