It took them 7 hours to move everything. I went with this company because a friend had a great experience, the company completely packed everything for them and moved everything. They paid around the same amount I paid even though I had packed everything myself and the movers had less work to do. Also 2 of the movers wanted to know if I rented or owned the home and how much we paid monthly for the place. I found this very unprofessional and don't understand why they needed to know these things. It seems since they are paid hourly they want to take advantage of the situation.

We were on the second floor of an apartment complex so I knew the stairs was going to be a challenge but they did an amazing job! Chad was able to take apart the crib, our couch, and take down our TV. He was also able to take down our TV and make makeshift boxes for them, along with our mirrors - which I appreciate!! They were also great at putting our things into the moving truck nicely stacked. My husband and I were so impressed with how much room we had left in the truck! We had referrals for 3 companies to come out to give us a quote for our move. The rates were in…read moreline with other companies but what really set them apart was the value Chris added before we even officially committed. I had a few conversations with Chris who graciously answered all my specific questions. Then we scheduled an in person walk through of our home. Chris personally came out to assess what we had and what staff & time would be required to do the job. At the conclusion of his walk through, he gave several suggestions & shared a game plan on how to make the move go smoothly. We felt like we had personal attention all throughout the move. They sent the same staff to us 3 days in a row. This staff of men were friendly, hardworking and professional. They handled our belongings with extreme care! Not a single item was damaged which was truly impressive. We had some high end furniture pieces as well as some delicate pieces. On the final day of our move, Chris spent the entire day packing our his & hers closets into wardrobe boxes. He took much pride in presenting us with "a gift" from him. We walked into our closets and it was set up as if we paid for a "closet world" professional to organize our clothing. Skirts and shorts together on the short bar. Long dresses were on the tall bar. Pants hung neatly in their own section. All shoe boxes were grouped together and neatly lined up. This was especially impressive due to the fact that my husband had over 120 different shoes/sneakers. Everything had a place and this saved us HOURS of work & energy. This was very special to us and such a generous gesture. We will only refer Packman moving services- they are extreme professionals and a pleasure to work with. Their service was worth every penny. The cherry on top is gaining a new friend in Chris.

I told her it was important to reserve the date and even if I could make a deposit I'd like to make sure the date was available. She proceeds to tell me with attitude that until they give me a quote someone else could book it and well, that's the chances you take (!!!) 3. No one called me back for a quote or visit. The next day I get a call from this lady and she tells me: sorry, I booked the dates so we can't service you. First, customer service here really is something horrible. Second, she missed out on a big moving contract because I called Sunshine Movers and Mannie was the best and made the whole process so easy. We didn't quite hit that, but at no point did it feel like anyone was wasting time. The crew hustled the entire job. They listened to how I wanted to prioritize the move. We focused on large furniture first, got all the key items handled, then worked through the rest. Communication was constant. They asked questions, followed direction, and adjusted quickly without any pushback. The team was professional the whole time. No hesitation, even with heavy items or sending things upstairs. Everything was wrapped appropriately, not overdone, just done right. Nothing was damaged, and they were careful with walls and flooring throughout. We had discussed heavier items and drive time ahead of time, and everything was handled fairly. No surprises. I also compared pricing beforehand, and their rate of $199/hour (cash) plus the $60 truck fee was in line with what I was seeing.
