Not impressed. Prices on the website are not what's on the menu. Food was okay. Not great

I'm a tough critic, having worked in restaurants for a decade, so take this seriously: the service was impeccable and the food was perfect. The dining room is lively -- yes, it's noisy -- but that energy comes from a full house of happy diners, which tells you everything you need to know. We started with scallops: buttery, golden-crusted, and exquisitely tender. I had the veal saltimbocca -- one of my favorite dishes anywhere -- and Sergio's version is by far the best I've had. Dessert was a Basque cheesecake with a perfect balance of texture and sweetness. In five years, I have never had a bad meal or a lapse in service here. It isn't cheap, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Ignore the haters.

They also offer an enclosed atrium area, which seemed like a quieter option--but the heat was a bit too high for us, so we chose to sit inside. It was quite loud, so next time I would try the atrium area near the entrance for a more comfortable noise level. One of the highlights right away was the complimentary antipasto: a nice plate of mixed cheeses, olives, and sliced salami, along with a basket of bread. The thin, crispy salted bread was seriously addictive--so good! Paired well with our Aperol Spritz. We started by splitting the fried zucchini flower blossoms stuffed with ricotta, served over tomato sauce. You get two per order; they were good. For entrées, my friend ordered the Pollo Fino--strips of chicken breast topped with asparagus, shrimp, and mushrooms in a white wine citrus sauce. It came with four jumbo shrimp, and she said it was incredibly good. I had the Pappardelle alla Boschiola with prosciutto di Parma and green peas in a pink sauce. It was a generous portion and very tasty. I later noticed the menu included mushrooms, which didn't seem to be in my dish, but I did not catch it at the time. We finished by sharing the Napoleon dessert--my friend had raved about it. The flavor was good, and our server nicely split it for us, but the pastry layers were quite crunchy, making it challenging to eat. Overall, a fun atmosphere with tasty food. They have a big parking lot offering valet service.

The service was good and our server Flavio was very, very nice. The place is very quaint and quiet. I loved the breeze coming through the open windows. It was so New England. The food was okay. It wasn't bad but I've had better at other steakhouses. We ordered appetizers of bacon, clams oreganata, and Caesar salad. Our meal consisted of salmon and mashed potatoes; Bronzino and mashed potatoes; penne al a vodka; and filet mignon with mashed potatoes. Everyone who had the mashed potatoes said they were fire. I didn't care too much for the twist of my penne al a vodka though. My husband cleaned his plate of his Bronzino and broccoli. My granddaughter ate half of her filet mignon and took the rest home. She said it was good.

With no dinner…read morereservations, or any idea of where we were headed, Joe and I drove around Port Chester until we spotted this cute restaurant right on the Greenwich border. I saw "steakhouse" and thought "let's give it a try", and I'm so happy we did. Every point of service was handled perfectly. We were greeted and sat immediately, and my eyes gleamed as they looked over the menu. Nothing but the hits! As it was a cold and snowy day, I decided to start with the French onion soup. Broiled to perfection! Joe began with the grilled shrimp and those babies were HUGE. For my entree I decided to go with the linguini with clams. I'm usually a little cautious to order this but it was clearly the right choice. There was so much flavor and love put into the plate; I made sure to leave some for leftovers so I could experience it again later. I also ordered the brussel sprouts with bacon; once again, no notes. Joe had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection, but to be honest, the star of the night were the duck fat home fries. They were just French fries (fried perfectly, might I add) cooked in duck fat and onions. I mean, quite literally the perfect side for the steak (and every thing else we had at the table). We had no room for dessert but I ordered an espresso and when the bill came I was pleasantly surprised! Such a delicious meal & incredible service, that didn't break the bank! We will definitely be back and I can't wait to bring some friends!
