Had an amazing time at Bellwether in Chinatown! Highlights: All-You-Can-Eat KBBQ - seriously delicious, fresh, and flavorful; the meats were perfectly marinated Variety - so many options, from beef and pork to tasty sides Atmosphere - lively and fun, perfect for groups or a feast If you love KBBQ, this place is an absolute must-try!

It's a solid choice for all you can eat kbbq in Seattle. We love coming back because Groupon always has a deal, the price comes with the hot bar which has chicken wings, noodles, taro ball, and fried spring rolls, and they have a soft serve machine. I don't know what they do with the fried chicken wings at the hot bar but they are always so juicy and I love dipping it with the house chili sauce that is also at the hot bar. The cheapest option comes with kalbi on the menu which is great. They recently added more options on the menu such as kimchi soup and steamed egg which is great, but the soup was pretty salty. You also grab corn cheese, lettuce, mushrooms, bell pepper, zucchini, and onion from the bar to grill if you wish. If you love beer, they also have $1 refills. I only come here on the weekends and it gets pretty packed. They're also pretty understaffed so service can be slow. The waiting area has tea and snacks and they're often out of snacks. You order from a tablet once seated and sometimes I need to order the same thing multiple times before it gets to our table. The hot bar also runs out of things often when it's busy. The quality of the meat is average, nothing exceptional, but I've only ever gotten the cheapest option (option A). Overall, it's a cheap option in the city with a good variety when I'm craving kbbq.

This place has solid Korean barbecue. It's not the best but it gets the job done for the price. It's not super bad considering it's in Seattle, but the meats were nothing special. We got their basic option, which was option a I think it's honestly good enough, especially if you don't care that much about premium meats. The service here is a bit slow, but I think they might be a bit understaffed, considering how spotty was. This place does get pretty busy though as we waited for 20 minutes to get seated

This place is mad good. Very good price for all you can eat KBBQ, I believe it was around $30-35 per person. You order on a mini tablet at your table so you can easily order more once you are finished your first few portions and it comes around very quickly. The staff is friendly and efficient and the restaurant has a very nice vibe and great lighting. They also have a self serve sides bar where you can grab as much cheese corn, fish cake, kimchi, etc. as you want. The meat tastes very fresh and is seasoned very well. They have beers on tap as well and I enjoyed a nice Sapporo. Brilliant stuff.

Review update. Came back to this spot a year later. This time earlier and got to really explore the menu. It is way better than i thought. Tried the wagyu beef toro and the thin sliced short ribs along with the lamb chops. All three of these were outstanding. Going to bring some friends back here before i leave town

Aight so we were originally trying to get into happy lamb for a late xmas dinner, but the line was wayyyyyy too long so we "settled" for bellwether. But sheeeeeeit I'm glad we did! I've always seen/heard about this place but never had the opportunity to try it out. There are two different options for AYCE: "regular" vs "premium" (think wagyu options). We opted for the regular option A + AYCE beers, which were $8.99 for the first one and then $1.00 for each additional glass (fam I had 7!). Total per person after a 20% tip was around $55-70 depending on how much ya drank hahaha. Service was great! All the employees were super busy especially since it was a holiday... but they were all super kind and efficient. The quality of the meats was ok. Not the best, but also I've had worse elsewhere (but again, perhaps the premium option had better cuts, too). I believe we were limited to ordering 5 items with a 10minute lockout in between orders. Honestly not sure if there's an actual time limit for the meal either. But yeah! I'd def recommended checking em out. I'm def chancing their premium option next time!

friends and i were happy with this place! there was a good amount of selection for the A menu. Theres also a good amount of things at the salad bar. I was surprised to see dessert available as well. I didn't get to try their beef bone soup, but it looked pretty good as well

It was our first time here and it was just ok. Self service food area was very dirty, they were out of rice for almost 30min. Not sure if I will be back.

    The marinated beef. Yum!

Welcome to my favorite KBB spot the city has to offer! So many amazing protein options to choose from at a really great price. Service is quick and friendly, and helpful (if it's your first time). A hot bar of yummy bites, sauces, and soft serve are just a few steps away from your own sizzling grill. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. Perfect for feastful date night or large parties.

overall great place to go to for a casual dining went here two years ago and came back and it still was what i remembered. like infatuations said, the meats are nothing special or no like marinade that's over the top, but gets the job done. we got the premium this time and enjoyed it. i would say if you do do the premium, look on the groupon and save yourself $30. the pickled radish was probably the best thing out there and paired with the brisket sauce. the staff was a little bit spotty, but that's probably because there are like 4 people attending like 30 tables for dinner. would come back and would recommend others to come here

    Madison J.

I didn't get a good picture of the meat and food, but it was high quality stuff. The servers were very understaffed, but were still on top of getting out our rounds and replacing the tray when it started to get crusted. This is located in Chinatown, so there are a bunch of good places around. This is on the second floor and hot pot is on the third floor of the same building.

Improved experience the last couple of times we've gone. Corina and Sabrina have been great, quick, and attentive. Surprisingly everyone had a birthday the day my family and I went therefore there were back to back happy birthday songs and everyone was singing along. The self service counter is always amazing, a big improvement in getting our sides, all you can drink beer is always great. The hostess is always kind.

Ayce great quality meats. They are super quick to bring the food out. I like how they put all the appetizers on the tablet to order, because I always feel bad about never finishing them. They'll change your grill plate frequently too.

My girl taking a flick, we just about finished a 2 hour eating sesh.

The décor is gorgeous--an elevated, glamorous tribute to the water buffalo that feels bold yet refined. We ordered the Miang Kham, Crying Tiger, and Mango Salad. I always order Miang Kham when I see it since it's such a rare find, and this one was excellent. The Crying Tiger was tasty but came out more well done than the medium-rare we ordered. That said, we still finished it because the dipping sauce was fantastic and the purple-and-white sticky rice was delicious. The Mango Salad was beautifully prepared with shredded mango that had just the right crunch and tartness. Generous portions served. Even during a busy late afternoon, the chef handled guests with ease and a big smile, serving beautifully executed dishes and cocktails. Very impressive. We'll definitely be bringing friends here next time we're in Seattle. Tip: They do true Thai spice levels here--proceed with caution."

These weren't your typical fries though. They were Dutch-style, coming topped with mayo, satay, onions, and chili sauce. A mix of Dutch and Indonesian flavors. This probably was my favorite dish. The combination of pungency, fattiness, crispiness, and spiciness was very good. It kind of reminds you of a plate of nachos, but the fries themselves have a better taste than a bed of chips would have. They manage to stay crispy almost until the end. The main dish I had was the South African Bunny Chow. This was a chicken masala curry inside a bread bowl, spilling out on either side. This was very solid as well. The curry tasted similar to a butter chicken - lightly spiced and creamy, but the chicken inside was quite juicy. The act of putting this inside a bread bowl was very cool. It made it easy to get both the bread and the curry in a single bite with a spoon I didn't like the dessert much, though. What I had was the chocolate malva, but the apricot was way too forward and the sweetness was missing. I tried the Danish cake as well but found this similarly disappointing. The price ended up being somewhat expensive, at around $45 per person after the meal, despite the deal. Portions were solid though. Overall, it's a cool avenue to try different street foods, but I wouldn't say anything special. 7.25/10
