Quinoa Bowl & Roasted Veggies (and tempeh)
    Kirsten C.

A great spot for fresh, vegan food tucked in the Mission. Highlights were the blueberry restorer smoothie, which was delicious with the interesting kick of cardamom. Also enjoyed the quinoa bowl, especially with the added tempeh which was great. Very hearty and filling. Staff were very friendly and even let us sample some extra green smoothie for free. Very eclectic, fun space. Not a lot of seating inside but more in the parklet outside!

Incredible raw vegan cafe located in the mission district. Staff were so nice and helpful. Very tiny little cafe but amazing spot for a tea and lunchtime! The decor is boho, earthy and just stunning. The tea wall is so beautiful. We ordered a mint tea, matcha latte and Nori Wraps! 10/10 amazing!

Popped in here for lunch on our way from the SFO airport out to Napa. My husband really wanted a burrito but I found this spot on yelp and it seemed more my speed. I came in around 1 pm on Thursday afternoon and sat at the bar. The space is quite small with just the bar seating and a couple of seats by the window. I imagine they have a large take out clientele. I ordered the quinoa bowl with tempeh and subbed tahini for the aioli. It came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. I really appreciated being able to grab a quick and healthy lunch. If I lived in the area I imagine this would be in my regular take away rotation.

Nourishing and high vibe food, elixirs, tea, and smoothies! The food is not only filling and delicious but feels like every cell is being cared for! The women running the cafe are lovely and can feel how much they care for the space. The sun pours in beautifully and is so cozy! Be sure to try one of the desserts too! Overall feels like a hug in food!

My go to spot in SF. I have a dog so I love that there's outdoor seating. I always go for the quinoa roasted veggie bowl with tempeh and avocado. Great juices and smoothies and desserts. Cozy ambiance, very small. Fast service, and the food is always perfectly heated and steaming hot.

organic! gluten free! seed oil free! heaven!!! obsessed w their sticky carrot cake gf muffin. whenever i'm sick, the lentil soup w ghee & yummy date (tamarind?) dollop nourishes and cures me. everything on the menu is wonderful. absolutely delicious golden milk & adaptogen lattes & fresh juice & smoothies. the space itself is like a peaceful lil haven in the cacophony of mission. crystals, books, plants, tea, tarot cards, ornate carved countertops & hilarious stickers adorning the pillow snuggle corner. a must-stop every time i'm in the neighborhood. bless beloved :)

If you like health food and quaint vibes, you'll fall in love with Beloved Cafe. Sit at their bar to get a true feel for the essence of the place. There's a small seating area outside too. On the menu are smoothies, juices, teas, coffee, health tonics, small bites, and plates of food. A few of us ordered the nori wrap and loved it; the tahini sauce is super yummy. You'll leave feeling vital after eating such delicious food filled with nutrients. Note -- There are very few seating options.

On my way to a shuttle for Portola, I found this cute cafe and decided I should stop for a drink or some food. While I wasn't super hungry, I wanted to try something... I only had the Morning Ritual which was basically coffee from a French press. It took longer than I had expected as I waited outside and never really heard the name of the item called. I was preoccupied with the deck of oracle cards I played with while I waited and finally decided to go in and ask about it. I liked the interior decor and feel of the place... I think service could be more communicative. Especially if there are not many people on staff and people are going in and out to check on the tables outside. Being aware oh, by the way your coffee is coming right out of something. Honestly probably could have walked away and the guy wouldn't have noticed or cared. If I am in the area again and decide to come back... I would need to try some food and a different drink. The place is tiny inside so ordering could be overwhelming for someone who doesn't like tight spaces or being rushed, should there be more people walking in to order. I don't think you would get the same feeling if you sat in the parklett tables as you would inside or right outside the front door. Oh, what I DID like while I was there too was the music they were playing. They were play Brazilian music and it had brought a smile and happy feeling to me, reminiscing on memories of Brazil and people I have met there.

It's a tiny, intimate cafe with an earthy, maximalist ambience. It's rare for me to come across coffee shops with foods that are natural, freshly made, and minimally seasoned. So if you are looking for a healthy cleanse this is the place.

    Green Goddess Bowl

Such a sweet cafe, very small very few tables to sit at but once you do you will enjoy the atmosphere, friendly service and fresh vegan options. I loved the green bowl, I ordered to go but then a table opened up so I enjoyed it there. This is food that truly feeds the soul!

Diet: Vegan - The blueberry lemon-aid (amazing! Didn't expect it to be this tasty!) - The chocolate brownie is just out of the world. - The everyday greens is too bitter have it if you can handle it. I'll skip that next time.

I wish they would mention that their weekend morning to lunch menu is different from the one displayed on their website. I drove all the way here for the main pizzas/pastas for my birthday, but we were only limited to breakfast food and burgers on a weekend afternoon. Also, I understand that weekends get busy, but our server did not check on us at least once. They were only present to take our orders and then drop off the check. As a former server myself, I am very aware of these things. It appeared that there was some down time to check on a simple 2-top as she was walking up and down scanning the tables. I can say that this is not reflective of the previous times I've dined here as the service has always been very pleasant, and the food never disappoints. For minimum $20 per entree, you would expect the servers to check-in on how the table finds their food and whether or not there is something they can provide to make it better.

I find their bowls and salads fresh, healthy, and filling, which makes this one of my favorite lunch options during the workweek. The Mezze Salad is a particularly good choice when you're hungry. I also tried the Kale Caesar Salad, which has the makings of another favorite, but unfortunately the dressing was much too salty for my taste that day. I'll probably try it again sometime to see if that was just a one-time thing. The dining area is open, bright, clean, and comfortable. It works equally well for lunch with colleagues or friends, or for sitting by yourself with a meal while reading or working on a laptop. I dined with three people who had never been before and I was very interested in their reaction. Everyone gave it a thumbs up and loved it. We ordered a bread basket for the table since we all started with soup or chili. The basket is limited with amount- one roll, one cornbread and seeded wafers yet there was enough for everyone to split. I had the corn soup. It was quite good, perhaps not the best I've ever had but certainly up there. They rarely have a roasted tofu dish, brochettes seeing it on the menu, and having it pointed out by our waiter I definitely ordered it. Glad I did. It was awesome. The tofu was amazing, just perfect along with mushrooms, tomatoes and onion slices. All of it worked so well together. There was a side of orzo salad with a variety of fresh veggies mixed in- so good. I washed it down with an excellent glass of Sauvignon Blanc and plenty of water was provided. For dessert we shared a chocolate cake with ice cream and a peanut butter parfait. Both were good. The parfait came with candied peanuts and a brittle- a bit of a jaw breaker. Overall the meal was excellent and very enjoyable. Service was wonderful and attentive as is typical. If you're ever considering trying vegetarian food come here first. Well worth the visit.
