I visited this restaurant during one of the events on 24th street. My family wasn't in mood for Mexican food that day - so Turkish seemed like a great alternative. Definitely liked the interior and the staff was nice. As for the food - got a bit disappointed by the options we've picked. The egg with Soujouk was too spicy and the vegan beyond burger caused stomach upset for my husband. The guacamole with pita we took for our daughter was good. We had breakfast catering from Healthyish Republic for a work conference. We were looking for something unique that would be easy to accommodate a lot of different diets with, and Healthyish Republic was just that! We ordered a spread that included menemen (a scrambled egg dish), sausage, a vegan scramble, a pistachio french toast - which was fantastic and had me going back for more, as well as a spread of cold dishes including cucumber, yogurt, veggies, pita, dip, and salad. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I had and ended up going back for seconds of multiple items. Not everyone loved it as much as I did, some said there weren't many options, but I wholeheartedly disagree and thought there was plenty to choose from. We were attending Carnaval, and happened to find this hidden gem. It's right on the corner of 24th and Harrison Street. Placing our order was simple, QR code, online, kiosk, or directly with the cashier. We were able to secure a table before we opted to go up to the cashier and place our order. She greeted us with genuine kindness. There was a self-serve water station. The food was absolutely fabulous. The presentation, the freshness, taste, quality, and quantity. Utensils and napkins brought to us in a ceramic container. Plenty of flatware and napkins to choose from . Fresh flowers on the table, nothing is served in plastic containers when dining in. I've done keto on and off for a few years and when I first tried it years ago, these places didn't exist!!! So I'm just glad that they do now. This restaurant isn't only specifically keto friendly foods, there's also vegetarian & Vegetarian i believe... don't fully remember because that's not what I was looking for lol But the staff was friendly, it was very clean and there and i loved the decor/ambiance. We ordered the keto bun cheeseburger, it had Al the fixings along with mushrooms with a nice sauce on it(like an in n out spread thing). The fried cauliflower was fire too, I've never been a big fan of cauliflower but after I had these I tried to recreate at home with something similar. The chocolate chip cookies were also very good, if you're familiar everything keto with be a bit grainy from the almond flour but that doesn't bother me I'm used to it. Might have been some coconut in there also. Wanted to try more things next time around for sure! The only reason I didn't give this place a full 5 stars(it deserved it, i left no crumbs!!!!) I track my macros daily and count my net carbs so I asked if they had any type of nutritional/dietary information for the menu and the worker told me no. The food was so good, i almost was like is this stuff really all keto friendly???...no way??.. LOL so i also wanted to see what I was actually eating. I wasn't that impressed the first time I came, so I had written this place off, but I'm glad I decided to give it another try years later, and now I'm addicted. I may have just ordered wrong that first time (shakshuka, Korean tofu bowl) or come on and off day... But now I have found the light. These days, my husband and I always get the hummus and kofte paleo/keto bowl, which is the perfect amount of food for us, as I likely wouldn't be able to finish a bowl on my own. The hummus is excellent and creamy, recommend buying an extra pita to go with it. The paleo/keto bowl has lots of different veggies (Brussels sprouts, bell peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, more cauliflower in the form of rice) along with the kofte (beef meatballs), which are seasoned and cooked sooo well. Consists of feta cheese with black sesame, cecil (string cheese) with walnut, labne (mild cream cheese) with zaatar, olives with orange, tomato and cucumber with fresh herbs, muhammara (red pepper dip) with roasted sesame seeds, scrub salad with tomato & avocado, tahini, pomegranate molasses, milk jam, honey clotted cream with pistachio powder, soujouk (turkish sausage) with eggs and fried pepper, warm pita, and rusticana boulot toast. Off the top of my head, I can only think of a few places offering Turkish breakfast is this is one of my favorites. There is so much variety, which i love, making it accessible to many diners. The restaurant itself is a lifestyle inspired restaurant so is also accessible as a whole with options encompassing keto, gluten free, vegan, peleo, and Mediterranean. Favorite items from the Turkish breakfast include cecil with walnut, muhammara, honey clotted cream with pistachio powder, and soujouk. If you need more food, definitely opt for the menemen, which is a Turkish style scrambled egg with onion, tomatoes, peppers, and cheese. The cookies are very wet inside, it's like a wet sand or slushie texture it's so strange, I've never had a cookie like that. I kinda feel like they forgot to bake them. They are very sweet too, painfully sweet. The keto fat bomb desert was pretty disappointing for me too cus you can't really tell the peanut butter taste or texture so it's basically just a soft ball of cream cheese with chocolate chips around it. You don't quite expect a healthy option among the calorific and carb-heavy temptations on 24th Street in the Mission. OK, healthyish...does that mean it's healthy adjacent? I really enjoy their Mediterranean bowl with chickpeas and mushrooms and I get it every time! The food is flavorful, well-seasoned, and hearty while still being pretty healthy. For dessert, I recommend the Keskul, or Almond Pudding. Very tasty, nice texture!
