I absolutely love Rad-Radish! Ordering from this restaurant is always a treat. Their hummus is my absolute favorite--so flavorful and delicious. It's perfectly paired with fresh vegetables, and you can add a side of pita if you like. My second favorite, which I hope they never remove from the menu, is the Chia pudding--truly the lightest, most irresistible dessert ever! I enjoy both takeout and dine-in, and every serving size is just right. The service is friendly and consistent, making each visit enjoyable. The cozy ambiance resembles a bustling coffee shop, lively and welcoming with a diverse crowd. If you're craving a light yet satisfying meal, this spot is a must-visit!

I have been coming here regularly lately because I'm often in the area for jazz events. My friend and I are both vegan so this is absolutely one of our favorite eateries! Between the two of us, we've probably eaten everything on the menu. I was here for Earth Day for the BOGO impossible burgers as well. Plus, if you show them that you are an SF Vegan Society member, you can get a discount. I'm not sure how old the restaurant is, but they maintain it well and it is always busy. They have mastered the various self-ordering methods as well. With the staff always smiling and helpful, it's no wonder people keep coming back! And of course, the food tastes awesome!

Ordering involves a kiosk! We ordered an avocado toast, Vietnamese latte, and a golden latte. Took about 13 min to get ready and it wasn't super busy. The greens have a perfect amount of dressing where you get a taste of it in each bite without it being overwhelming. The onions are a perfect compliment to the toast. Would definitely order again :) Their Vietnamese coffee tastes strong! Not too sweet but that's totally fine. Inside is pretty quiet (quiet conversations). I don't think there was music playing but it totally plays into the calm vibes it's giving off. I will say it's on the pricey side, but worth it if you're in a rush and need something tasty! 8/10 their avocado toast is sooo delicious! I will admit, I do come in to work here since they have a lot of tables, charging ports, and great vibes.

Amazing!! As a vegetarian, I don't crave meat but their vegan chicken sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I've had in my life! All my friends also loved their dishes, and they aren't even vegetarian/vegan. Definitely recommend!

I really enjoy the fries here all three sauces are great. The inside is beautiful and it's a great spot for vegans and non vegans alike. I'm a little sad they got rid of the meatballs but I can always eat their fries.

Really pleasantly surprised by how much I like Rad Radish! I am not vegetarian/vegan at all but the flavors here are so good. I love the kale caesar salad with falafel added in -- super flavorful with a good crunch, and the falafel is nice and juicy. The "chicken" caesar wrap was also very yummy (surprisingly kind of spicy to me. The restaurant is a perfect blend of casual yet trendy, and there's always plentiful seating. You order at a kiosk and the inside ambiance is very comfortable. Love it!

Sit-down spot for casual bites! Delicious vegan alternatives -- I went with the spicy crispy "chicken" sandwich. Loved the flavors & crisp of the patty. Fries were yummy, but stood out mostly bc of the ketchup! Ordering is via table QR code or self-ordering kiosk! Easy, convenient & still get the same sit-down experience.

It did not disappoint. The veggie burger was flavorful and satisfying, and the lavender latte was so good -- smooth, unique, and not overpowering. The whole vibe is cozy, fresh, and welcoming. Definitely becoming one of my favorite spots to keep coming back to. Burger was so good I didn't even get a pic!

Great tasting vegan food easily ordered on QR code and paid upon order. Then a friendly server will offer water and our Neatball Masala bowl, Mezze salad came later, after I received my blueberry mint probiotic soda, which was refreshing and tart! Casual yet classy atmosphere with regulars, Rad is great!

The food was so fresh and flavorful & I loved how easy it was to order with my phone. We got our food in a timely manner even though it was busy and close to their closing time. I definitely recommend this place!!

Lunch treat Healthy or fast food path? Neatball Masala Blueberry oat muffin Coffee milkshake Mix of "healthy" and not. Dessert treat Very busy at 1pm Sunday afternoon which I expected. Pretty nice interior with varied seating capacity. Three ways to order, easy QR ordering with my pre-existing Toast account at table destination. Easy menu navigation and ordering. Expected SF pricing. Noticed self served water and to go boxes well after seating and lucky it was visible to me. The poor one young server was working harder than others. That's why I hate giving tip before service. Milkshake came a bit after food which came quickly. They group all drinks for multiple tables in one server trip. Masala was enjoyable with the contrast of flavors. Not large but filling. Would probably order again but much more of the menu to try for this first time. Tasty muffin but not many blueberries. Milkshake was good and dense. Overall an enjoyable lunch.

Rad radish has really grown on me. Not that I didn't like it when they first opened, but I think I dismissed it as just being a limited version of Wildseed. But not so! Rad Radish's menu is really great irrespective of its connection to Wildseed. And their space in Hayes Valley is a lot closer/convenient for me, not to mention just a nice environment overall. What I appreciate most about Rad Radish's menu is the solid representation of vegetable-forward dishes, including excellent salads, wraps, and apps like the cauliflower. They also have a thorough beverage menu--cocktails, mocktails, juices, coffee, and tea. And the icing on top (for me), usually one or two muffins available! As to their space, I personally like the self-seating and order from the QR code system. It allows you to do your own thing and take as little or as much time as you need. And because the space is so big, I'm not worried about finding a spot. Pro tip: they have a regularly changing seasonal menu and these items are always delicious. Keep an eye out!

Veganized Spicy Chicken Caesar Wrap w/ kale, crispy chickpeas, seaweed levain, dressing, coconut parm w/ fries | $20 (Great flavor+texture!)

You know you've KILLED it IF a hardcore carnivore is craving your vegan wrap. I rarely post updates but Rad Radish doesn't respond to emails/messages but they respond to Yelp reviews. I've had the same issues with their sister restos (Back of the House Group) but anyhow... Rad Radish has a seasonal item (now a mainstay) - Veganized Chicken Caesar Wrap w/ kale, crispy chickpeas, farro, seaweed levain, house vegan caesar dressing, coconut parm that's HELLA BOMB ($16 +$1 spicy): https://tinyurl.com/3aesz5dn At least on my first try.... The "Chicken" Caesar Wrap was bursting with bold, savory and tangy flavors and satisfying textures from the crispy chickpeas and crunchy seaweed levain....all wrapped in a warm, griddled tortilla. IMO, it tastes so much better than the "viral" one in The Marina/Cow Hollow made with real chicken. The first time I tried the wrap, I brought one back for my anti-vegan coworker ("If I'm buying food, I'm clogging my arteries with pig fat!") and she really enjoyed it. She didn't know it was vegan. She's blunt and has no filter so if she hated it, she would have told me so that says, A LOT! Sadly, Rad Radish is inconsistent. For the past 5 weeks, I've returned weekly for the same wrap. And, it hasn't tasted like the first time. It's different every time - cold "chicken", dry greens (not dressed enough), overdressed greens dripping with dressing, and/or missing ingredients. On my most recent visit yesterday, it was missing the "croutons" (seaweed levain) which is essential. Not sure if it's a training issue but I hope they work on their consistency!

This was a great appetizer to share between 2-4 people. The tofu is soft and chewy while the pineapple is crunchy and fresh. The glaze on top is slightly spicy but pairs well with the sweet pineapple. The portion is a good size for an appetizer and the tofu makes it feel like a substantial dish. - roasted cauliflower (8/10): charred cauliflower florets on a bed of sikil pak topped with pickled onions and cilantro. This was my favorite of the dishes we ordered. The sikil pak is a unique spread that I had not seen before. The main ingredients are pumpkin seeds, tomato, and habanero, with the texture of a hummus but the flavor of a salsa. It is also a good size to share as an appetizer between 2-4 people. - garlic butter udon (6/10): udon coated in garlic butter with macadamia nut crumbles on top. This sounded good but was a bit of a letdown after the appetizers. I was hoping for more unique flavors or textures. An addition of something fresh like a pesto drizzle or roasted tomatoes may have added a boost of flavor and color. - kale walnut pesto rigatoni (7/10): rigatoni with kale and walnut pesto topped with blistered cherry tomatoes. I liked pasta better than the udon. The pesto was creamy yet fresh from the pistachio and lemon. The tomatoes added color and sweetness. The portion is good to serve one person or shared when mixed with other dishes. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes, though I would order more of the appetizers and I liked them better than the entrees.

The first time I came here, I got the strawberry matcha latte with my friends. We ordered it via delivery on DoorDash, and I'm not sure if it's just the whole delivery part, but I could not taste any part of the strawberry! It just tasted like regular cream on top. Typically I'm more of a coffee person than matcha, so I'm not a great judge in whether this was good matcha or not. But I guess it did taste ok in my opinion. The funny thing is, my coworker also said the same thing when she ordered the strawberry matcha latte a separate time! Disappointing. A separate time, we also ordered from them via delivery. This time I was eager to try their food items instead, since they have a pretty interesting selection, like those cake sandwiches and various Japanese items. I got the spam masubi, which I thought would be a solid choice. It did arrive warm, but the slice of spam that was in the masubi was so thin! It was the thinnest piece of spam I had ever gotten, and I've gotten spam masubis at a variety of places including ABC stores and other places in Hawaii, and even various stores in the States. The rice was okay, some brown rice thing with seasoning, that was decent but not my preferred white rice. Overall my two times here have been disappointing. I will really never line up for this place in person, nor will I understand why people do.
