What is the difference between buying a sundae at this location and buying a pint at the local grocery store? The latter will not disappoint you. It has been months since I last visited this location. Prior to the pandemic, I would often grab a sundae after watching a movie at the cinema across the street. I ordered a Hot Fudge Core Sundae. Rather than look at a recipe book, the young employee attempted to make the sundae from the photo on the wall. On a core sundae, the hot fudge is in the sundae rather than on top. Considering these are pricey sundaes, I hoped her fellow colleagues would have trained her better rather than teach her shortcuts. While I may get the desired ice cream flavor at the local grocery store, I can purchase a pint of the hot fudge core sundae for about half the price. If and when I return, I will not bother buying a pricey sundae but purchase a scoop of the flavors not available at the grocery store. read more

I love this location by the square in Highland Village. They are always very generous if you want to taste any of the flavors. They have quite a selection of Ben & Jerry's flavors and they also have quite a few different types of waffle cones in different flavors. My favorite is chunky monkey and it never disappoints. I've tried combining it with other flavors but it still remains my favorite. They have a few tables inside and also a few tables outside. It's nice to sit outside and just watch all the people walk by. The service has always been good every time I've been here. read more

My husband and j walk in to order a thick milkshake with Heath bar topping, and a single scoop on salted caramel ice cream. I requested thick milkshake the girl said, ok , what I got was a very watery milkshake n maybe a teaspoon of topping, I walked back in to tell her it did not taste very good could I have hot fudge in it, it did my make it taste much better- I threw it out after two attempts to drink it - I won't go back to this place, very disappointed in quality and cleanliness - there was a lot of dried ice cream on countertops and clear shield near topping area. Last time I went here it was near closing time and the two high school girls working let some boys their age (that did not work there) go behind the counter. This place has really bad reviews but I have always had helpful people working when I was there. It's a nice stop before or after a movie. The girl I got today let me try a bunch of flavors. Explained the price breakdown for me so I would get the best deal and even offered to hold the rest of my pint for me while I go to my movie so it wouldn't melt or have to be thrown away. Now that they have so many dairy free options I make this a must go. Sad the sorbets aren't vegan though. If that were true this place would be perfect. read more

Yelp you need to be embarrassed these people post a sticker on their door saying "Yelp loves them" There's no way that can be true, because if corporate Ben & Jerry's knew how this store was being run they wouldn't stand behind it! The people, which seemed to be the ownership family were far from friendly and borderline gross! The girl behind the counter was constantly coughing into her shirt and the other woman was sweeping the lobby and seemed like everyone that came in was an inconvenience to them. They seemed to be wiping the tables but the areas that really needed to be cleaned were neglected! Ownership here is clearly the problem and unless that changes this place needs to close because a good Ben & Jerry's needs much more respect than what this place is providing. Happened here after we searched several minutes for the defunct "Chocolate Apothecary" I was so excited about. After 30 minutes of searching this outdoor mall, we found the empty space that C.A. used to call home, and settled for the Ben n' Jerry's. Ben n' Jerry's store is a special treat for me. Last time I had Ben n Jerry's in public, it was in Vermont at the B&J factory. Ever since I went there, B&J have had an extra special place in my heart. The folks running this store were young and sweet. The décor is that fun and fresh animated cow and pasture that all Ben n' Jerry's have- very inviting and kid friendly, for sure. I ordered the butter pecan (brilliant with fat pecans in it) and the cake batter with chocolate swirl. The pecan was the winner here, the cake batter was more chocolately than cakey (but still gluttonous and delicious of course). The store was poppin' and the guy taking my order was super adorable. Prices not too bad either. $12 for three of us to have way too much ice-cream each. Thank you Ben n' Jerry for being a great substitute! Yummy! read more

Did I just slap 5 stars on this bad boy? 'SHO DID! ....but why? Let's just say I discovered this gem of an ice cream shop, a perennial favorite, due to their April 8 promotion of FREE ICE CREAM. Yeah, I said it -- FREE. That's my favorite four-letter F word. And they actually held up their half of the deal! Countless people, with screaming kids in tow, filed through the lines and received a free cone/cup of their choice with no hassle, harassment, or push to buy something at any time. Love it! As for the ice cream itself? Who doesn't love it? This is the stuff Bridget Jones binged on, after all. Its a household name like Walmart or McDonalds... except actually producing happy feelings, not those of exasperation with society. We were treated VERY rudely by the three young girls working. After OFFERING to open new containers for gluten free choices, the girl made a snide comment to a co worker about it and also about my vegan daughter being dairy free. Then when my other daughter asked for a cup for her leaking cone, the other girl rolled her eyes and handed it to her. My daughter said "thank you" and got no reply. Second they didn't have the ice cream my daughter asked for, although there was ice cream underneath the sign- it was in the wrong place.
