In and out in about 15 minutes. Always friendly and pleasant techs on duty. Jarrid took care of me today. Mr. Byron, the owner, is that kind of guy that reminds you of your Uncle at the family BBQ. You just kind of get that instinct that he knows cars, he's been in business long enough that he's doing it now because he's good at it and enjoys it- not because he needs to cheat people out of their money. I've decided that I'm going to bring my car in to him the next time it needs repairs. Hopefully, that's not very soon. if I could give them 0 stars I would. I've had a previous bad experience with them two months ago and tried to give them another shot. I went in late as they advertise 24 hours. when I get there the guy says they aren't 24 hours this week. then he says you want me to be honest, "I'm tired". that's no way to run a business when you advertise 24 hours and to tell a customer you're tired is absurd. I've been coming to this little mom and pop shop for at least 4 years now, with every car I've had, and let me tell you- they are always fair, kind and never over sell or BS you. If I could give them a -10 I would!! Pulled up for a emission, my 2014 Maxima was working FINE!!! Black guy hooked it up. There was a car in front of me so he unhook the plug and ask me to pull up...CAR WOULD NOT START!!! Every single light on my dash was now on. Tech asks me if I have gas and trys to tell me that's the reason it wouldn't crank! Ask to speak with the owner and he and the lady behind the counter were SUPER RUDE!!! I SAT in my car for two hours waiting on an officer. One of the tech even told me it was a "civil matter" so I'm wasting my time. I took my car here for a simple air valve change ob my tire. When the mechanic was pulling my car to the back on the shop when i was ib the waiting room watching the mechanic driving my car he backs into a pole located on the corner of the driveway.I walk out to say something about him backing my car into the pole and he swears he didnt when i saw him with my own two eyes plus when he hit it my car jumped. Then I go to Ashley and he gives me bs about he believes his employee which had thick glasses on and probably needs a new presciption not only that when I get in my car to leave the mechanic riped my rearview mirror off.RUN...I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! read more

We were actually going to stop by today but in the light of your response to my HONEST review of our experience, we truly wouldn't feel comfortable. It would've been nice for future customers looking to hire the services of Ben Hill Automotive to have witnessed a more apologetic approach as well, but hey, you've been in business longer than I've been alive so you must know what you're doing. UPDATE!! My husband went to speak with owner in regards to his truck. The outcome was not good. He proceeded to show him a video of his business parking lot which shows my husbands truck in his lot. The video camera had no time frame to compare when the truck was dropped off or picked up. Owner tried to persuade my husband that he dropped the truck off 12 midnight when I know for a fact it was more like 9 pm because I followed him to pick him up. He would not rewind the video to drop off time. Secondly the video doesn't highlight any transactions through out the day nor does it go over the span of his lot, so anyone literally can come onto the property and hit your vehicle and his camera is only covering a portion of the lot between his door and a good 20 feet nor does It scan the entirety of the side of his parking lot that stores the vehicles that has been worked on. To add insult to injury he accused my husband of bringing the vehicle to him in that condition. Mind you my husband paid him 326.00 for the work. What would this gain him? In my summation for this business the owner is not a person of good character, but basically only cares about making Money with no integrity or accountability. Oh by the way I loved his speedy response to my post, because he knew what we were contacting him for and neglected to respond until I slammed his business practices..... The absolute worst.... I took my car there for a wheel allignment and they came back with $450 in repair costs. When I told them never mind the owner (Ashley) stated I was too cheap to have a Lexus. He then went to the fine print and charged me $50 to look at the car. Let's say they got me on the $50 which is why I am writing this review cause they did no work. He then said he didn't take cash which led me to have to walk to find an ATM. Rediculous at best.... They used having my keys as leverage. They were extremely slow and the men in the front office spent hours looking for a set of keys. They seemed to have gotten upset because I was checking behind them with my mechanic and seemed to get offended when I did not want to pay their prices. STAY CLEAR!!!! read more

Took it in drive-able but had to have a tow truck to pick it up.The owner Byron was a jerk every step of the way in trying to get the situation resolved. I took my car to City Automotive on 3/15 got it back on 3/21 for a clutch job,(2,100 USD) had to take it back on 3/25 because the steering wire wasn't connected properly and there was noise coming for the clutch,3/26 fixed steering problem and was told I could drive the car home with the clutch noise until another tech could contact the clutch manufacturer about the noise. 4/1 drop off car again!Called on 4/7 since no one called me, was told car would be ready on 4/9, had to call again, car wasn't ready, told it would be ready 4/13, NOT! Had to get a rental, three days later 4/16 called and was told there was another problem, that I needed a transmission!!! Had not heard anything before about transmission! was told I could get a used one for 1,100 or 1,700 and they would put it in for free! since they already had the other one out. Opted out on anymore work! picked up car on 4/20, yes 20 days later! Everyone was nice, but customer service is slow and unorganized, owner paid for week of car rental. I took my car to another shop and was told I did indeed need a transmission,there was no sign of a leak, but probably due to very low transmission fluild that runs out and needs to be replaced after most CLUTCH work!!!!! I'M NOW SHOPPING FOR A NEW CAR !!!! So much for trying to support your neighbors. MR read more

City Automotive dba Ben Hill Automotive? November 2014 took my car in for oil leak and power steering leak repair. December 25th, power steering completely drained, took car back. January, more power steering and oil leakage, took car back for a few more attempts at repair. They failed and refused refund. Could not afford to leave my car 3-5 days at a time to correct a repair that started in November. April 15, 2015, lawsuit judgement in my favor. Owner refused to mediate with outside party and failed to show for court. Case# 15MS000905. Hopefully the name change means no association with City Automotive, along with better service and business practices. read more

This is the WORST AUTO REPAIR SHOP EVER! I took my auto there to get the AC charged and have freon added to it. After waiting around for over 2 hours, a worker came to me and said that my hood latch was broken and they couldn't do the AC work I came in for. I was very confused as I just opened my hood to have service done on another part of the engine that same day. I went to see what they were walking about and the incompetent employee they had work on my car broke my hood release! Instead of him asking how to open the hood he kept pulling and pulling and pulling on my cord until he BROKE IT! It was all the way out laying on the floor. The owner/Manager Brian apologized for his employees error and said that he knew an auto body repair shop that I could take it to and they would fix it at no charge to since he broke it. The owner Brian told me to call on Monday morning after he had a chance to call the auto repair shop since it was late Saturday afternoon. So I said "OK," at least he was going to fix it. I called Monday morning and the Owner Brian totally changes up his story! He now calls me a liar repeatedly and says it was broken when I brought it in and he wasn't going to fix it (I can only assume that he called the auto repair shop and got a price he wasn't willing to pay for his mechanics error)! This was unbelievable! The mechanic breaks a part on my auto and I now I am called a liar AND have to come out of my own pocket to get the repair fixed. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The worst and most horrible experience I've ever had with any company. This company should be shutdown permanently for rip offs and fraudulence. The manager is rude, very condescending and unbelievably deceitful. I had my vehicle towed here and decided to have it re-towed elsewhere due to the unprofessional experience. The manager did not relinquish my car keys. I literally had to call authorities. I offered to pay him the towing fee, but the manager was dissatisfied and decided to increase my service charge. He charged me for diagnostics services that was never done. After the long hassle of disputing the charges. I decided to pay using my credit card. The manager then tells me he does not accept credit cards. I had to pay cash money to spare me the mercy of the unprofessional agony. I was ripped off intentionally. they refused to give me paperwork of the services they allegedly completed. I left and never looked back.
