The food is deliciously unexpected and better than you'd get at a sit-down restaurant. The burrito was packed with eggs, potatoes, sausage, cheese and came with a side of salsa. The eggs Benedict plate came with spinach, peppers, avocado, a side of roasted potatoes which were perfectly cooked, and a green crema. The chef/owner came out and checked on us, and our food came out quickly. Don't let the location fool you. The airstream is parked in a motel parking lot, and there's a patio in front of it with umbrellas, tables, and about 15 stools. You get a nice breeze from Ocean Beach. read more

We stayed in the hotel in the same parking lot so we thought we'd try this place out and it was good. My friend got the açaí bowl (pictured) and really enjoyed it. I will say their online menu is not correct they carry less than what is on there. It's a smaller menu but good selection. I got a side of sausage and toast and they were good. Hands down the best! As a huge fan of traditional and not-so-traditional eggs benedict, this is amazing! We found this gem on the way to Ocean Beach. Huge portions that we ate in 2 meals. I really enjoyed our breakfast at Benedict's. The atmosphere was relaxed and it was so close to the beach. It's a great place to grab some casual, fresh and tasty food. Super disappointing. Spent $20 on the farmers eggs Benedict . Went on a Sunday morning. It was not crowded and they could not get my order right. I asked for no garlic English muffin regular hollandaise sauce instead of chipotle. I got mixed greens with Benedict and they were wilted and too heavily dressed. My Benedict was a mushy no textured mess. I threw out half my meal. The English muffin wasn't toasted. It was just kind of gross. My friend spent $32 on eggs Benedict and a glass of orange juice. Tried many different things, the breakfast sandwich with sausage, the breakfast burrito with bacon and the eggs Benedict. Along with coffee and the iced pistachio/ matcha latte which was my favorite. But the prices are pretty outrageous for a food truck. All that for over $76 is wild to me , not a sit down restaurant with service. The food was good but wasn't anything special that I would go back for. It's right on the beach so seats outside but most were wet since it was early morning. It's a good breakfast. Kind of expensive, but good. Like $25 for a breakfast sandwich with a side of potatoes, including tip. However, today, there was something different. I ordered, then 10-15 minutes went by, and the chef came walking down the street with a friend and strolled on into the kitchen. I am fairly certain it was not the owner, as I believe that we met last time I was there. The breakfast sandwich was also far better the last time. So, now I question the consistency. Would have given two more stars if the woman helping us wasn't so rude and unfriendly. The food is amazing. Breakfast sandwich and burrito were HUGE and super delicious. The vibe is super cute and homey. There are quite a bit of flies as it is outdoors. I came with my family visiting from out of state and we went all out and bought coffees smoothies and breakfast. My dad even bought a tee shirt! As this lady is handing me the tee I ask her if there's any possible way to get a replacement iced coffee or even half of one because the flies flew inside the lid of my cup. She got snarky with me and said "did I hand you a coffee with a fly in it?..." I said oh no not at all it wasn't you it just unfortunately happened and then she gave me a dirty look and said to buy a new one. First time bringing the pups to dog beach and they needed to start their busy day with a hearty and delicious breakfast. I had the avocado toast and it was marvelous, I highly recommend splitting with someone! My friend is not a fan of avocado so she had the traditional eggs Benedict and the bite I had was absolutely delicious. The pups enjoyed their scrambled eggs which was a great side for only $3. Large portions and good food. Within walking distance to the beach ( though you can't see it from the location) which gives you the option of picnicking on the beach. Coffee was good and canned beer is an option too. Parking is a bear and I personally would not drive there just for brunch on the weekend and have to circle for parking just to eat there... but I would Uber on a weekend. And face it - you are at the beach in San Diego and this location is kinda in a parking lot of a hotel. You order and can take your food to go ( picnic option at the beach) or there are a few outdoor seats. Service was relatively quick when you take into account the nonstop business and orders they get. read more

Stayed at the Ocean Villa Inn in OB. Just a one nighter. Getting ready to leave and I was thinking about what to get for breakfast. Saw there was a little line for Benedict's which is right out front. Kiosk ordering, went for the breakfast sandwich with bacon and sausage. If I could curse like I normally do with my friends, y'all would hear it all, but that was the best damn breakfast sandwich I've ever had. From the Texas toast to all the scrambled contents and the creaminess of the avocado, absolutely killed it on every level. This place was a total surprise. It's a trailer parked in a hotel by the beach but they're making some serious breakfast! The breakfast sandwich was massive and the bread was incredible. It was nice and salty and big portions or avocado. It was excellent! The chef was very interested in how the food was and really seemed to care that we enjoyed it. The location is right next to the beach and there couldn't have been more sun. I'll be back for sure! read more

Amazing staff, chill atmosphere, and clean outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend trying the açaí bowl or the breakfast burrito. Staff is super friendly, checked in on us multiple times to make sure our food was good. And the waitress outside was very friendly in directions and showing us how to order. Before I get into the downs, worth acknowledging this is partially a us issue, but something worth solving for for a broader customer base. The non us issue. We definitely walked out hungry, in fact ended up somewhere else after having dinner. Serving is small, somehow a quarter lb of meat is just less than it use to be somehow . Next the part that sucked the most. We don't eat red meat. So before coming we checked the menu and were delighted to see they had duck friend chicken option on the menu. Stellar! It felt like they had chicken options to accommodate non red meat eaters. After making our selections. We decided that getting some sides would be good (we were hungry, see above). Then in the corner of the menu, we notice a little asterisk and a note: "all fries are no fries in beef tallow." Ugh. Brutal. The sides were fried in cow fats. First, let me acknowledge, this is a way healthier choice than normal or alternative frying options. But man does it suck. I went to check with the waiters, if they might have alternative preparation methods if beef was a non starter. They politely said no and then proceed to let me know that everything there is fried in beef tallow. Wait, everything? Of course, not the fried chicken which indicate duck fat. Nope, even the chicken. Wait, the beef alternative on the menu, is fried in beef fat?! Also, the crab cake (also fried in beef tallow. Ugh, we were so disappointed. That essentially meant there was nothing on the menu besides shrimp that we could eat. Luckily, one server did let us know, we could instead grill the chicken (which honestly was a nice save and probably better than fried). We, for personal reasons, could not leave and go elsewhere. So we opted for the chicken and shrimp options. As I mentioned, very small but tasty. Before anybody gets too crazy about us going to a burger joint when we don't eat beef. Calm your stuff. We ALWAYS check to see if they have beef alternatives. My feedback is actually simple, make the beef tallow thing clear and enable our community to make informed decisions about coming to the restaurant. Regardless, happy to have them in our neighborhood.

The heart decor was a nice added touch. People all around me to amazing looking pancake, bowls and egg dishes. I will definitely return to try again and see if we can add one more star!
