Checked out Benedict's on a visit to OB this am. Super easy or order through the kiosk, fast service, and yummy food. We got the breakfast burrito that we ended up splitting because it was a lot of food! The only thing is if they could fix up the tables in their seating area 30% of them are broken or teetering unfortunately. They are usually pretty busy so you kinda just have to accept it.

Wow! I'm so glad we found this spot on Yelp! It's a cute little outdoor area where you order from a kiosk and wait for your food. I wish they had more shade, since it did get pretty hot.. but the food was amazing! We got the breakfast sandwich, which had sooo much flavor. We also ordered the breakfast wrap, which was also good. The portions were really big, so def shareable.

Stumbled upon this place looking for a quick bite on our last day of our SD trip and Benedict's was in walking distance. Expectations were low, but we were pleasantly surprised! Long line on a Sunday morning to order at the kiosk, however it moved fast and food came out pretty quickly. Many others here were also in and out so we were able to grab one of the outside tables. Coffee wasn't anything special, but the food was bomb. 10/10 breakfast burrito!

Why we waited to try this amazing restaurant in an airstream trailer that was on-site of our hotel(Ocean Villa Inn) in Ocean Beach , I do not know! This place we tried on our last day in OB, just before packing up the room to head home. The breakfast sandwich was so large that only half could be eaten at breakfast. Both the other half and rest of bacon my dog, Kai, did not eat was also my dinner on arriving home that night! This sandwich was delicious! My daughter enjoyed her breakfast burrito with bacon the same way- in two meals. We ordered at an ipad kiosk at the start of seating deck and it was easy to use. Reasonable prices and the service friendly and quick once they call your name to pick up. Will go back and Highly recommend!

Solid 4.5 stars So this place came up on my IG and it looked good. I went on a Wednesday morning and street parking was easy to find. I ordered through their Kiosk. Their prices are more than what is displayed on their website just to note- I got a breakfast sandwich which is now $19 and an orange juice $4.50. Once you place your order, just go take a seat and listen for your name. Just as everyone mentioned, their portions are pretty big. The sandwich includes scrambled eggs and cheese and a protein- I chose bacon. You can choose between potatoes or mixed greens. Taste wise, it was good. Nice butter brioche bread. You can't really mess up scrambled eggs and cheese, and they also give you a little cup of their green sauce. The sauce (cilantro base)was flavorful but just a tad bit salty for me. I was only able to eat half of that sandwich it's that big. I'm not sure if the orange juice is freshly squeezed but it tasted like it. Was very refreshing. Point Loma is not close to me but if I'm in the area again I would stop by and try a different menu item. Also customer service was excellent!

You have found the best breakfast spot around! We got the Farmhouse Benedict (amazing! The chipotle sauce and all the veggies and the garlic butter English muffin, yum!!!) and the Bacon Egg and Cheese Omelet (huge and cheesy!) and got both with potatoes (exactly what you envision breakfast potatoes to be). We shared it between my husband and I and two kids and it was the perfect amount of food (and the price was right for the generous portions!). We also got a latte (sugar is available on site to sweeten to your taste) and Americano and we're happy with those too. I ordered online ahead of time and it was ready right when we got there. The outdoor patio is plenty of space to sit and enjoy a cool beach morning and then walk over to the dog beach and watch some cutie dogs run around. An excellent way to start your day!

Huge portion sizes and good food for a great price! We got a breakfast sandwich, avocado toast, bacon and cheddar omelet, and a side of scrambled eggs/potatoes. I had the avocado toast and it was delicious! I usually complain that places don't have enough avo on their avocado toast but this place loaded it on. When I held the ends of the toast it sagged in the middle from the weight of all the toppings, which is an A+ for me. My only complaint was that most of the tables had crumbs/dirt on them and could use more regular cleaning.

My husband and I were looking for a new brunch place to try and we stumbled upon this place online with high star rating in a lot of reviews, so piqued my interest. And wow I understand completely why it had such an outstanding review status. This is a very casual order at a kiosk brunch spot. It's outdoor in dog friendly. My husband and I both ordered the B. A. T Benedict which is a spin on a traditional Benedict and comes with bacon and avocado and some other goodies. It also comes with potatoes on the side. I'm not exaggerating, this is one of the best eggs Benedicts I've ever had in my life! Not to be a branch snob but I was very taken back about how amazing this was! So we went here on Saturday post surfing in ob. We literally love this place so much we went again post surfing on Sunday! And we most certainly will be returning customers.

You ever find a place so good that you end up coming three days in a row even when you could go somewhere else? Yeah this place is absolutely amazing and for the price you're paying you get an insane amount of food! I tried the bacon breakfast burrito, the bacon eggs Benedict and the bacon breakfast sandwich. All of it was 10000000/10. The sandwich was probably my favorite only because the bread they use is to die for. Green sauce and red sauce they have is also soooo yummy I only wish they sold their sauces because I would sell them OUT! Will be thinking of this place until the next time we're up in Ocean Beach and be jealous we don't have one in Phoenix :'-)

First morning on my visit to San Diego and the breakfast place that caught my attention. . Benedict's . Talk. . About. . Yum. . There was a line when I got there, but it moved pretty smoothly. People ordered at the kiosk/ pad and sat down. Wasn't enough seating for EVERY single person in line, but it looked like people were taking it to go. A sunny and perfect day to eat it by the beach, I'd say. My order was called out by the friendly chef at the window. The other side called out drink/ coffee orders. I had the breakfast burrito and the B.A.T Eggs Benedict. The spicy red salsa was super delicious and the green sauce for the Eggs Benedict was very addicting. Everything tasted great. The breakfast burrito was loaded with delicious eggs, and the benedict is definitely a contender in being one of the best I've tried. Loaded and delicious . . A great breakfast spot with a beachy breakfast shack ambiance. A shame I'm only visiting for the weekend, but definitely a place I'd like to have again on my next trip to San Diego!

Their orange juice was really good and freshly squeezed. It went will with the burrito. It's an outdoors brunch place, it's really nice to eat outside when there is nice weather. The beach is a block away so you can even take your meal to the beach and have a nice picnic. The workers are very friendly and you can tell they care about the hard work they put into their food truck and food. A worker came by to ask everyone how their food was. He was very sweet and was easy to strike up a conversation with.

Large portions and good food. Within walking distance to the beach ( though you can't see it from the location) which gives you the option of picnicking on the beach. Coffee was good and canned beer is an option too. Parking is a bear and I personally would not drive there just for brunch on the weekend and have to circle for parking just to eat there... but I would Uber on a weekend. And face it - you are at the beach in San Diego and this location is kinda in a parking lot of a hotel. You order and can take your food to go ( picnic option at the beach) or there are a few outdoor seats. Service was relatively quick when you take into account the nonstop business and orders they get. read more

Amazing staff, chill atmosphere, and clean outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend trying the açaí bowl or the breakfast burrito. Staff is super friendly, checked in on us multiple times to make sure our food was good. And the waitress outside was very friendly in directions and showing us how to order. This place was a total surprise. It's a trailer parked in a hotel by the beach but they're making some serious breakfast! The breakfast sandwich was massive and the bread was incredible. It was nice and salty and big portions or avocado. It was excellent! The chef was very interested in how the food was and really seemed to care that we enjoyed it. The location is right next to the beach and there couldn't have been more sun. I'll be back for sure! read more

We had the best Friday morning brunch experience at Benedict's near Dog Beach. First off, the food was amazing! Cooked to perfection and delicious! The service was also perfect! Everyone was attentive and a joy to be around. The food is great and the staff is very friendly! Here are a few things we wish we had known before coming, though: 1) This place is 100% self-service. Order on the kiosk and wait for your name to be called. 2) There are no public restrooms on the premises, so not a great choice for families with small kids and / or over-caffeinated adults. The staff recommended using the restrooms at the beach, which is fine, but I guess I expect better when I'm dining out. 3) Because the seating is all patio, the flies are out in FULL force. Get ready to swat in between bites. read more

Saw this place on Instagram and decided to stop by and try it out. The ambiance was really nice the music playing gave a nice vibe. It's right next to the beach and a lot of people were hanging out with their dogs. You order on a tablet outside of the airstream and they call out your order the next window over. The food was really good! The garlic bread on the breakfast sandwich really made the whole sandwich. Both of us agreed that the potatoes had no seasoning and definitely needed at least some salt. We also got a hot white mocha and a hot mocha, the white mocha wasn't very sweet and the mocha was also not sweet but it was good. Because it is such a small area there is a lot of overlap in stations, I believe the açaí bowl station and coffee making are right next/on top of each other. In the middle of drinking my drink I got a Goji berry mid sip, only a slight worry about cross contamination if someone has allergies. Other than that a great experience. read more

Highly recommend Benedict's for brunch. Their servings are HUGE and tasty. The line can be long to order but if you pay with cash you can avoid the line and ordering from the iPad. We called ahead for our order and server recognized that and let us skip the line to get our food quicker. The owner came out at one point and was very friendly and personable. The location is good too because you can walk around near dog beach after eating a big meal. read more

You need to try this place if you stay near ocean beach especially the dog beach! We stayed in the inn basically a minute away and went to Benedict's the first morning we were here and we were hooked we went back again and again the next few mornings. Get the burrito because it is huge and delicious. We have enough leftover for 2 meals. Service was fast we basically got our order within a few minutes. The cooks attitude HORRIBLE... The rest of the staff seems miserable. It doesn't seem like they like being there. Geeze... you are near the beach... lighten up! Ha! They kept calling my name and giving me the wrong order yet the cook was mad at me about it! Weird!! I am such an easy going, happy spirit so it didn't bother me. I had the avocado toast. The "sourdough" wasn't very sourdoughy, but I'm a super snob ™, so take that as you will. It was good bread, but I wouldn't call it sourdough. The avocado was fresh, the arugula wasn't over dressed, the egg was poached perfectly. There was a mountain of arugula, and as I was on a road trip, I was beyond delighted to have some vege! I can't believe this place! A beautiful Airstream in Ocean Beach kid of in the parking lot of a motel. Best eggs Benedict I have ever eaten. The hollandaise is creamy and spicy, perfectly cooked poached egg, thick ham and English muffin. It comes tons of potatoes and great salsa and a guacamole like crema. I would drive here any day for this perfect breakfast! Nice outside deck to eat from while the planes from the airport buzz overhead. read more

If your order any of the omelets, make sure to ask for light cheese. The whole omelets is basically rubbery, cheap cheap CHEAP cheddar cheese. Seems like everything is cooked in oil. The salad that came with it was really good. Just a gut bomb omelet with all that cheap cheese all over it. Cheap cheese for an 18 dollar omelette- added avocado that was kinda brown. read more

Had a delicious breakfast here the other weekend! Came here very hungry one weekend morning to an incredibly long line to order at the one kiosk they had, but left feeling very satisfied with a delicious meal. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and the eggs benedict. We did have to wait around 30 minutes for our meal but we understood that might happen with how small of an operation it looked. The food had a great flavor, and what made it even better was the sauce they added to both meals. It definitely is a lot of food as well as delicious food and worth the value there. On the food side - I would have loved more crunch to the bread considering all the food inside, mainly eggs was on the mushy side. The only things to note that were not ideal was the lack of seating, and the fact that their menu on the kiosk did not reflect their menu online, and a lot of menu items were out of stock at around 10 AM. The trash can also overflowed and tipped over, which was not very appetizing. read more
