Benihana and our chef Dylan were awesome! Dylan went out of his way to make the kiddo at our table feel special. Hayden was awesome too and very accommodating. This is a good and clean location and it brings the good vibes and fun times. We had a reservation and didn't have to wait. Our food was prepped deliciously and quickly.

As usual, a wonderful experience. We sat with very nice people! Our chef, Nate, was absolutely amazing! The restaurant has been updated and looks phenomenal! And, the best part: the food, everything was perfect!

Chef Alex with a great show!

Excellent chef, Alex! Customized our order, was very fun and friendly and cooked us an incredible meal! Allergy friendly, love this restaurant! Thank you!

That face is how I feel.

I was ready for a big night out. Ready for a fancy place. Had my collared shirt on. Made reservations. Drove an hour. High hopes soon crashed like a kamikaze. Parking lot is confusing and unorganized. The blue entry doors were cool. First red flag, the displayed wagyu selection for the night was carried around on a saran wrapped styrofoam plate with a green leaf and wilted flower. Um, no thanks. Food was okay. Not great. I love hibachi. Local competitors definitely have better quality food. The staff was just okay. Perhaps they have a hiring program for felons or something. The dinner prep was boring. No good music or impressive teppanyaki chef theatrics. No tossed shrimp or saki. I wouldn't say it's too clean, either. And, the real kicker, was on the bill -- $7.50 for rice. So, the rice/noodle option was NOT included in the $34 chicken dinner. Wow. Rice is like a dollar a pound! I would say, if you want to have a night out with proper attire required, and overspend on mediocre food, but appreciate a bubbling gut and a potential stop at a gas station on the way home for a colon cleanse, I recommend this location. Benihana works better than a GLP-1 without a script (unfortunately, same cost). Saga is better for sure.

The sushi comes out beautifully plated and are flavorful and fresh. One of the nice things is that everyone will be able to find something that they like to eat because of the variety of cuisines. Service is always quick and friendly. They also remember you and details about you which is great customer service! For example, when we went back for the second time, they remembered my kids names and the drinks that they had ordered the last time we were there. This is a super cool spot, and I'd say it's great for everything from a quick bite to a full meal. I'd also highly recommend it for a date night. My only very minor consideration, and probably more of a summer thing (because I run a little hot), is that it can get a little warm near the open kitchen. It's on the third floor and they are cooking with proper charcoal skewers, so I think that's probably just part of the experience. Having said that, they do everything possible to keep it comfortable. The atmosphere is chill, and the service is excellent. Since we had dinner reservations nearby, we just wanted a couple of bites. The otoro was melt-in-your-mouth awesome--fresh, with high-quality sushi rice(my nephew said it was the best sushi he's had in the city). We also tried the chicken and wagyu beef robatayaki, both of which were perfectly cooked and finished with a delicious sweet and umami glaze. I'd definitely come back for a full meal, but it's also a great option if you're looking for a cool place to grab a cocktail or beer and a couple of appetizers before or after other plans.
