a plate of crab legs, corn on the cob, and other foods
    Dana M.

This place is a solid 3. The good: Friendly staff, good selection of food. The bad: 0 drink refills the entire time we were there, crab legs were very salty and were dripping water everywhere (I was literally able to wring out the crab meat and we could open most of the shells without the cracker. Pic of some gross slimy stuff that was in a leg instead of meat and my waterlogged fingers after dealing with extremely wet crab legs), all the beef is sitting in liquid, so is well done, they brought out slices of the prime rib (also sitting in liquid) and I grabbed one before it could go overdone, but it was completely raw (Not rare, as it should be-- completely raw.), dessert was incredibly disappointing, bathrooms were so disgusting that I had to let them know. It was okay. Not great, which is should be at that price, but not the worst place around.

Great buffet.. So much choices for every palette ... we are Foodies from Boston and was very impressed . Seafood was excellent: fresh shrimp, cooked shrimp , cooked oysters , white fish & fried Chicken & salads too! Love the desserts especially chocolate cake & Charlotte Rouge . The waitstaff was extremely attentive ! Our waitress was originally from Bulgaria .. she was very hardworking, gave different utensils before we had a chance to ask for them. The restaurant was extremely clean ! Highly recommend it! Normally we avoid buffets , this was excellent .

We really like this place. They have a great variety of food. We went between lunch and dinner, so there weren't a lot of people. This can be a bad thing for a buffet as food can sit there for a while. They kept the crab legs coming a few at a time so they were freshly cooked. The crab legs were very good and we definitely had our minutes worth. The hush puppies were really good as well. Our server was excellent. She made sure we had our drinks and fresh plates and took away the used plates. My wife really liked the stuffed crabs and mushrooms as well. I really like the fruit they had. The pineapple was really good.

Best of the batch. That large claw was the only large claw I was able to find on all 9 trips to the buffet table. (Yes 9...it's a sickness)

My love for crab took me out solo today. Husband wasn't feeling good. Never been here before but it was close to where we were staying and opened at 2:30 vs 4. I was glad to be seated away from the crowd since I was about to humiliate myself with my unapologetic need to get crab sick. I only tried 2 other items. The fried scallops and fried shrimp. Both were good and as normal in a seafood buffet tasted the same. The scallops were interesting though bc they were oddly big. I had to go back to make sure it was scallops lol. Crab- this is the main event. There is 1 bin of crabs and they sit in water. They were very little and I had to dig and wait for ones that could at least keep me at my table for more than 5 mins before getting up and back to the line. Everyone commented on this. I got the best picture I could of what was the best of the crab I could. The flavor was good not salty not hard to get out or dry just small. I don't normally care to see crab floating in water but it didn't change the taste for me. Maybe it helped with the smaller sized legs from drying out too fast. Overall not bad not nearly the worse and not nearly the best. Service- my server was very nice. She did her best to keep up with me by leaving lots of plates and discard bowls. She could've done better with the napkin flow and drink refills. I asked for a coke to go she said they don't do that. This is the 3rd place this year at the beach (it's only like Jan 5....that's said no to-go drink for me...is it just me?!...haha). Cooks- you can see into the kitchen slightly. I don't think they looked happy or sad or mad or glad. They were all looking blah. I don't really care as long as they are clean and cooking but I noticed. Just saying. Will I come back. Nah. Was I happy I tried it. Yes.

Me and my best friend decided to take a quick 24-hour vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC from Norfolk, VA. Took us 5 and a half hours to drive. The food was absolutely amazing! Our server was absolutely amazing as well! Went right ahead to the seafood buffet. The Low Country Boil was my all time favorite. I don't know if it's just me but I have a thing for perfectly seasoned Corn on the cob and potatoes. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The country chopped pulled pork was great! Alaskan snow crabs are to die for! Or maybe I'm just fat A lady came around to take our picture which was nice and a good purchase for those were made afterwards. Overall the experience was good, especially for the price . I'll recommend it!

When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.

If you need a drink refill, you need to go up to that. We went for steamed crabs only, but the rest of the food looks amazing. People I was with have eaten there before and raved about how fresh and delicious everything in the menu was. This trip was steamed crabs only. We ordered #1's for $48/dozen. We also ordered sodas. They do have beer to go with the crabs too! Didn't wait long. They were good. However, I don't think they were #1 level. At the most maybe mediums. We had several that were paper thin and no meat. They were full. Very watery and not seasoned nearly enough. We weren't expecting Maryland style crabs as we are in South Carolina, but weee hopeful they would be steamed and seasoned a little more. They do need those little food fans on the tables as the flies were annoying (we sat inside). Had to put napkins on top of our cups. The service here is lovely! Just super friendly and welcoming. Shoutout to Justin?? Might have been Nick - ugh, can't remember. Young kid, dark hair. They were so busy, and they were for sure stretched thin. He did his best and even checked on us once while also bussing tables, taking orders, sweeping, delivering food, etc. Was debating between a 3 or 4, but realized that shouldn't hold them responsible for replicating a different style of steaming crabs and seasoning them. The service and atmosphere were great. Their food in general is delicious,

I was a bit skeptical because we passed it a few times on our way to different places in town, and from the outside you couldn't tell that it served upscale cuisine. But it had great reviews so we took a chance. Ambience: The inside was dimly lit with an old school feel. Reminds you of an old school New York establishment from the 80's. I liked it. It had a welcoming feel and I noticed there were at least two regulars the staff greeted. Food: We ordered an appetizer of calamari and the short ribs. Additionally, I was going to get the salmon but they had a special of red snapper with lump crabmeat, green beans and rice. The food was delicious. The calamari was one of the best I have ever tasted. The addition of the fried peppers complimented the dish well. They were nicely fried and seasoned. Very light crust which I love. Sadly I didn't get a chance to taste the short ribs because I was just too enthralled in my dish. The snapper was perfection! Everything on the plate paired well together. Also, if you're not going for an alcoholic beverage, their freshly squeezed lemonade is so refreshing. Service: I'm truly bad about remembering names and as is my usual, I don't recall the name of the waitress, but she was truly attentive and nice. She was also knowledgeable about the food and patient. Truthfully, all the waitstaff seemed genuinely kind towards the patrons, which was nice. If I am ever in the Myrtle Beach area again I will definitely be going back. Loved it!
