    Orange chicken bento
    Rozanne F.

We ordered the egg rolls, Chinese BBQ pork buns, Mongolian Beef Bento, and the Orange Chicken Bento, everything was great. Just wish the bento boxes & the buns had a bit more flavor, then they would've been perfect. The crab Rangoons were crispy and delicious and so were the eggrolls.

Despite going keto, I still crave their five spices crispy chicken. Their bento box is very generous and well thought out - a lot of places will give you blah sides, but their sides in the bento are all fresh and delicious. You can chose to get any of the main dish as a "side" rather than as part of bento. This used to be much more affordable, but on my last visit (6/2024), the bento was $12, and the side was $9. I wanted to skip the bento since I wanted to just cheat my keto diet with my favorite five spices chicken, but if you want a better deal, get the bento. Both their braised egg and egg rolls are yummy. I actually also really love their stir fried veggies. My second favorite dish is their Beijing beef. It has been a while since I've been in and I see Korean chicken on their menu now, and I look forward to trying it out. So far, I haven't had anything here that wasn't good (Ok, with the exception of their pork bun, which wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was as good as their other greater fare). What I love more about Bento Xpert are the owners. Samuel and Lydia are both so friendly and make my visits pleasant. Thanks for bringing this authentic Taiwanese experience to Milwaukee!

Probably the best Chinese food in town! We've been coming here for years, and every time has been great! I usually order their Sanbeiji (three-cup) chicken and crispy chicken meals. Today, we decided on the Sanbeiji and broccoli beef bento boxes. Huge portions, tasty food! The owners are great. It's also fun to eat in the former Pabst brewery. Can't recommend this place enough!

Bento Xpert is my go to spot when I need a pick me up meal! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the food is authentic and delicious, and the portions are huge. Their five spice chicken and three cup chicken bento boxes are my favorite (though everything on the menu looks so good!). They also have other appetizers and boba as well!

Delicious, made to order five spice taiwanese popcorn chicken. Huge portion, I was able to eat it for three meals.

Everyone recommends this place! They have very reasonable price for good food!! I am Taiwanese, when I miss my hometown food, I will stop by here. We always order no. 10 and no.15, the gua bao is amazing too! Don't forget to order bubble tea while you are eating there!

My go-to place for simple Chinese/ Taiwanese food such as five spice fried chicken, three cup chicken, katsu and beef stir fries. The bento comes with rice, the dish of your choice, a braised egg or spring roll, and a side of vegetable. It's a food hall style restaurant in the first floor of the Eleven building. There are several other businesses within the space. Good value for the price!

It can be really difficult to find authentic Asian food, specifically Chinese food in Milwaukee (Wisconsin in general). It lacks a Chinatown and a ton of restaurants cater to a more western palate. I was craving some good Chinese food and found this Taiwanese place on Yelp. I have eaten here several times (including ordering via app) and my favorite is the tofu (they rotate two different kinds of tofus per week). What I like about the restaurant is how it's kind of a food-court style (they have premade food everyday) or you can order a specialty item which takes longer to cook. The owner is really friendly and the staff have always been efficient. The flavors are definitely authentic and I love that you can pick up your food and be back at work- so convenient. Would definitely recommend this place for good Asian food. It's not greasy or too fried which is common in a lot of carryout places.

It's located in a food court of sorts. Good food, fast service. Nice staff Would come back again for a quick meal

This place tastes like home! I never thought I would be able to find such authentic Taiwanese food here in Milwaukee. Ordered the hongshao pork bento (pieces of braised pork belly) and the braised minced pork bento (a classic Taiwanese comfort dish). Both dishes were bursting with flavor. Each bento comes with a side of veggies and a tea egg. You can order to go or to dine in the open seating area. The service here is fast and friendly. I cannot wait to come back to try their other bento offerings and gua bao (basically a pork belly bun). I am specifically eyeing the five spice crispy chicken bento and three cup chicken!

5 Spice chicken. Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Great flavor and crispy!

Hidden inside Eleven25 at Pabst, this spot is one worth making the trip for. I had been meaning to check it out for awhile but it was just out of the normal rotation of favorites. Boy did we miss out. Everything ordered came out hot and fresh and I could not have had a happier belly! Stewed brisket came with rice and veggies and reminds me of a dish that someone's grandma would serve up to you on a cold winter day. The pork cutlet was flavorful and not greasy like typical cutlets you may find elsewhere. The 5 spice chicken was probably my favorite, I'm biased towards fried chicken. The gua bao were a good app to start. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu!

We ordered the bulgogi, steak cubes, pork belly, spicy pork belly, beef tongue, rib meat, shrimp, creamy corn, fried buns, and a few other smaller items. The meat was all good quality! Our tables' favorite meat was the bulgogi for sure. We also loved the creamy corn and fried buns. However, beef tongue was so tough though I couldn't even bite into it (but honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy it!). The sauce bar was a fun touch to get exactly what we each liked. It was a little tricky being in a booth and getting people out to make their sauce combos though but we made it work. There is also a dessert bar but nothing was super intriguing to us and we were pretty full from the meal. The only downside was the service. Other servers seemed awesome but our waitress was totally aloof. She missed multiple orders of ours and we had to reorder those, and she acted super confused each time we had to tell her. She didn't give any direction on the process, and each time we wanted to add to the order we had to wave her down. I don't think she proactively checked on us once. A table nearby had the hotpot and that looked really good. We were intrigued and want to come back and try it. All in all, a great experience, and $31 per person for the amount of food you can rack up felt like a really good deal.

Plenty of space for parking in the back. Dark, smoky atmosphere with Asian interior designs. Perfect ambiance for BBQ! We had both Korean BBQ & hot pot, absolutely worth the price for both. The BBQ was by far everyone's favorite. We recommend the beef bulgogi, beef short ribs, and pork belly--these were the best for BBQ. Since it was all you can eat, we had a few servings of them. There was also a counter for different types of sauce one could get and a dessert section. The hot pot was great as well. We recommend the bone broth and the fish/shrimp/meatballs with it as well as udon noodles. The service was great overall. Our server was busy, but she managed to be attentive with us. We left with our belly full. We will absolutely come back.

The crispiness is always spot-on and I love that they give you just enough sauce to give everything a good coat and flavor but not too much that the chicken is drowning. I also really love the rice cakes that they add into the tenders and wings, it's like a nice little chewy treat to go with everything. Their fries are a LOT of fries! My wife and I have learned we can share one order of them. They have a bunch of varieties of seasonings you can add to the fries but I tend to get mine plain and just eat it with ketchup. The seats were comfortable and we were enjoying our Jasmine green tea and conversation. My husband had the spicy heather rice noodles. The flavors were there, albeit on the salty side. His chief complaint was that the items within the dish kept separating out. Likely due to the oils. Every bite was either noodles or one of the mixed in ingredients. My dish, on the other hand, was easy to get everything in one bite. Even with chopsticks. The stir fried udon was not crispy, which I was curious about. It was still toothy and delicious with the mixed vegetables and chicken. The sauce was neither overpowering nor too abundant. Everything was coated but not drowning, if that makes sense. I'm a huge fan of udon noodles and this dish was simply comforting. The menu itself is not overwhelming but there are plenty of items to choose from. I'm definitely going back and I will try not to get the same thing, but I make no promises! Price point is moderate but worth it for the amount of food. Roughly $30 for two drinks and two entrees.
