I have had my 2003 C240 for the last two years and received it as a hand-me-down, so right about ~now~ is when the little and large things are starting to break, need replacing, or are completely blown. After having no issues to seemingly having so many all at once, they were both helpful in telling me what I needed to fix at that time, and what could wait since my wallet wasn't anticipating so many issues at once. Ever since the first time I came to Benz 'n Beyond to get my entire water pump replaced, Ali and Sassan have been nothing but kind, welcoming, reassuring, knowledgeable, and HONEST. I have since come here three more times, and would not look anywhere else to trust such wonderful gentlemen to work on my car. My very first time at Benz 'n Beyond, I had spent my morning calling various repair shops to see if they could fit me in so that I could use my car the same day. After calling so many in the area, I came upon BNB from their raving reviews on Yelp and once I gave them a call, Ali answered with such a reassuring and positive energy - you could HEAR him smiling through the phone at 7:30am. Once they diagnosed my issue, they taught me everything they'd have to do and showed me firsthand what needed to be fixed. They even educated me on small things I was curious about, and suggested they replace my timing belt as it would need to be removed for the water pump anyway, and this saved me another trip back. At one point (my third time at the shop), Sassan helped me diagnose an issue with my rear window that wouldn't roll up; since it was much more than just the glass falling off the track, Sassan IMMEDIATELY pulled it out of the frame, and taped it up free of charge for me as a temporary fix, saying it could wait until I was ready for the expense. This alone made me want to cry, because I knew they would never take advantage of me and wanted me to be safe even if it couldn't be fixed yet. To make it even better, Sassan messaged me back a few days later informing me that he had found a repair kit which he might be able to use as opposed to buying a brand new window regulator, cutting my costs in HALF. Overall, I could not recommend this business and these gentlemen MORE!! Sassan and Ali both have immense experience with all types of vehicles - Sassan the Benz, and Ali the Beyond. I bought my Mercedes E350 as a daily driver and needed it to be sorted out. The car vibrated during braking very badly. I thought the control arms and sway bars needed replacement. Ali took it for a test drive, and told me the front rotors and a couple of minor issues would deliver the driving expo was looking for. Bang! The car was repaired for less than half what I expected. I am so thankful that I found this place, My husband found it out in 2020, was recommended by AAA guy who came to help us when my ML350 Wasn't turning on, and he put new battery and still nothing happened, so he believed they were a different issue, and I always to it the dealer where we bought it, so when my husband wanted to take it here I was really hesitant, but I let him do it, and OMG, it's has been our to go, and we will forever be going here. I've had the similar experience of looking around the OC area since I've moved back from the NE. Unfortunately, I spent good money in what I thought would be great repairs/maintenance only to have continual issues. It was not until I brought my car to Benz N Beyond that I had the true insight into the source/root cause of my car problems. Thanks to guidance of Benz N Beyond, I was able to have those prior mechanics fix what they should've done in the first place. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Benz n Beyond and Ali specifically, everyone there is amazing, but a good friend had referred me to Ali after my first mechanic royally screwed up my new (to me) bmw 325ci, ever since the first interaction I knew I was in great hands, and for the first time in my life im almost excited to have to go to the mechanic, let's be honest its never fun to have to get your car worked on, especially foreign cars, but I've had nothing short of an amazing experience here every time, he keeps me updated on everything and even breaks down everything he's done, shows me the parts and what was going on, explains it all in terms I can understand, and is always done quicker than expected. If I could give them more than 5 stars thered be no doubt that I would, id definitely recommend this shop to anyone relatively close that needs work on their car, especially German cars with how hard it is to find a good mechanic, having the best is such a nice piece of mind to have, especially when you're getting a better deal than any other competent shop around the area will give you for the same work. We are all looking for the doctor we can trust or dentist and a mechanic .they are just as important as far as I am concerned Well I have found the mechanic. These guys are awesome they do excellent work they are completely up front and honest about everything. I took my Altma in and the head gasket was blown . To replace the head gasket was 2,500 or more at the shops I checked into. The motor had close to 200k on it. The guys at benz n beyound said it would not be practical to do that instead they replaced the motor with a used motor with only 70k on it for they same cost . They replaced an axle some hoses cleaned up the wire harness .The car is a new car. Runs so good. And to top it off I did not have all the money to pay them they gave me they car on good will and let me make payments on the amount I was short . Let's see you find that out there this day and age .
