Delicious food and great service. A go-to place when I come to visit my mother. Yesterday, we went for her birthday and it was great as always. Will never stop coming here!

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've eaten at in a while. I ordered the summer rolls, beef pho (Pho Dac Biet), and a spicy noodle dish with beef and shrimp (special menu). The pho broth was excellent and very aromatic. I overheard other customers saying the shaky beef was popular too so I'll be back to try that next time! The service was also outstanding and the restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated with an impressive and unique variety of plants.

Thank you Yelp! Down in Falls Church on business and was looking for a local spot for great pho on a cool rainy night. Bep Viet did not disappoint! I had the pho with shrimp and it was sheer perfection. Perfectly cooked noodles along with a savory broth. A+++. Love this spot, with great relaxing music. That said, sadly, the table next to me spent about 30 minutes on their cell phone speaking to someone on speaker phone --- seriously??? What the heck is that???!!! No fault of this wonderful restaurant but come on people...put away the phones when you are in a restaurant!

Lemongrass chicken with rice vermicelli Rolls

Food : crispy spring rolls and lemongrass chicken with rice vermicelli Rolls over browned and meh flavor Chicken moist but hacked up haphazardly. Couldn't detect much lemongrass flavor at all. Ambience: dark but dressed up for Christmas. Lots of plants. Service was indifferent at best. Same song played entire time I was there --at least 40 minutes. Very Twilight Zone vibes. Nothing here to make me return.

Visited May 14th 2024. There aren't too many Vietnamese restaurants in the US that serve Bun Cha (and I grew up in Southern California). So whenever I find one that does, I always make it a point to drop in. Customer service Pork Steamed Buns: The pork belly was nice and juicy. The sauce was amazing, although I would've eased up on adding so much to make it easier to eat without leaving as much of a mess. Bun Cha Hanoi: The bun cha here was amazing. The meat was nicely grilled. I loved the addition of the pickled vegetables. The portion of meat was generous. The proprietress was even kind enough to walk me through how to eat it. You typically dip the noodles and vegetables into the dish meat and broth/sauce before eating it. I would have also ordered the cha gio/spring rolls to go with it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Vietnamese restaurant in the Northern Virginia area.

First time here. Based on reviews it appeared this is a great place for Vietnamese good. We came in on a Saturday there was only one other table. We were seated but service started out a little slow. We waited to place orders and food was a little slow to come out. The food tasted good. I had the beef stew with egg noodles teh overall flavor was good with good selection of meat and vegtables. Overall the portion size was a little small compared to many other resturants we have been to. The appetizers were ok. The sauces that came with the rolls were ok. Not great but ok. Cafe Suda, I have had better. The folks there were very friendly. The ambiance was very nice. We loved the flowers and this resturant appears to have a full bar. We will have to come back to try other things.

Seems to be a popular place. Walked in and it had 3 tables reserved. Pretty good for a smaller space. After 10 mins there, it got packed real quick at 6:30pm. Got the spring rolls. A little over cooked but it was still delicious. Did the pho. Perfect meal for cold weather! Vegetables nice and fresh. Great customer service and food came out pretty fast.

After three years, I thought it was time to update my review of Bep Viet. The thing is, though, that nothing has changed! Every visit is still 5 stars. The food is still great every time, the ambiance is still lovely, and the husband and wife owners are still friendly and welcoming to everyone. My last review still stands - next time you crave Vietnamese food, make your way here!

As soon as you walk in, it feels like you're at an anthropology store because it has so many beautiful plants and decorations. I went there for fun and it was so delicious. The only disappointment was that they only have a beef broth and I don't personally enjoy mixing beef broth with chicken broth and I do enjoy a chicken broth but nothing upset my stomach and everything was so fresh when you order lukewarm or warm, piping hot... Just the way I like it! I even got a chance to try some shrimp spring rolls and that peanut sauce was amazing. Everyone was so attentive and never had an empty glass and they let us stay till closing time which was so sweet because we were having a friend reunion. Most places are only and sometimes it's more about the food than the service, but I will save this particular location is modern, delicious, it has a great customer service.

This is a lovely restaurant with a nice bar. It's very popular. We had a group of 14. We split into 2 tables. Everyone got their drinks and we ordered. The 6 top had no issues. The 8 top had issues with confusion about who ordered what food and it delayed the food delivery. Once we got the food it was fantastic. Spring rolls were a big hit. The beef Pho was great. Spicy noodles were tasty. I would come back but only with a small group.

Great food and friendly service. We had two of their specialties bánh xèo and bún chả hanoi - Delicious!! My Chef husband approved

It was a really dreary start to the summer with its dull gray sky, rainy weather and nasty DMV humidity. So Bep Viet was a great option for dinner this past Summer Solstice. My friend and I were craving pho and wanted to try something new. The service here is a bit slow -- seems like it's run by a mom & pop and there were a good amount of customers. PHO DAC BIET/BEEF SPECIAL NOODLE SOUP - 15.95 This came with a variety of beef: eye round, brisket, tendon and meatball. They actually give you a solid amount of meat here (I know this because every bite of noodle I had contained some meat). The broth here is on the oilier side, but I didn't mind because it was rich and flavorful. The portion size was pretty standard and for this economy, 16.00 for a bowl of pho isn't the worst. They also had this soy bean drink (3.50?) that I got that wasn't too sweet. It's not homemade though (the server told me it came from a can, lol). Overall, my friend and I enjoyed our dinner here. It's one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in this area. With so many options, I'm not sure if I'll come back anytime soon. If I do, I hear their broken rice dishes and vermicelli were huge hits so I'd like to try that!

That was a big mistake because Truong Tien is inside and it is amazing! My son and I started with Banh Beo Nhan Kho Tom Chay, a dish of steamed rice cake topped with fried shallots, dried powdered shrimp (prawn floss) and chicharron which you then can top with a spicy sauce. They come in little tiny dishes that you can kind of slurp the rice cake from like an oyster. The combination of textures and temperatures and flavors was delicious - and not too filling as a starter. We wanted to have a Banh Khoai Nuoc Leo (crispy pancake taco-like dish with a dipping sauce) but they were out for the day (we were there at about 4pm) so instead we had vermicelli bowls (Bun Nem Nuong) with Asian style sausage and fried spring rolls. Topped with peanuts and fish sauce, it was fresh and delicious. The host greets you warmly and offers ice water, hot or iced tea (complimentary) and the restaurant decor is absolutely beautiful. There's also a gorgeous display of food for sale near the register, including fried bananas and donut/beignet sort of treats. Our server seemed a bit impatient and abrupt when taking our order (we asked how many spring rolls come in each order, and added beef meatballs to one of our pho orders), but we were mainly there for the food. The space itself is roomy, casual and comfortable, with tables spaced and seated far enough apart to not feel crowded. We started with the pork and taro spring rolls, which came out hot, cut in half, and impressively crispy! (Just as a heads up so you don't get scolded like we did - the pork and taro spring rolls come with two per order, and the price for both is a great deal compared to most pho establishments!) For our mains, we ordered three pho bowls and one dry noodle dish. The pho arrived warm, and adding bean sprouts cooled it down further rather than cooking them through. The dry noodle dish, on the other hand, was excellent in flavor, though also not very hot - likely due to the fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber) mixed in. Overall, a solid, filling meal, even if the service and the temperature of the food could be improved. Why we keep coming back: The Pho Sate is absolutely exceptional - we've tried this dish at countless Vietnamese restaurants over the years, and honestly can't find it done this well anywhere else. After 10+ years, the quality has never wavered. The broth is rich and flavorful with that perfect balance of spice and depth, the beef is always tender, and the fresh lettuce, herbs, and crispy garlic add amazing texture. But the real star? Their legendary roasted chili sauce (see photo) - that golden-orange chili oil is what dreams are made of! Savory, spicy, aromatic, and absolutely addictive. We've been eating this sauce for over a decade and it never gets old. If you love bold, authentic flavors, this alone is worth the visit. Consistently friendly and attentive staff - over all these years, the service has remained excellent. They recognize regulars, are genuinely warm and welcoming, and clearly take pride in their food and customer relationships. Plenty of parking - a practical bonus that makes every visit hassle-free. Why this deserves 5 stars: When you return to the same restaurant for over a decade, it's because they're doing everything right. The consistency in food quality, the authentic flavors, the warm hospitality - all of it has kept us coming back year after year. This isn't just good food; it's a place that's become part of our dining routine. Bottom line: After 10+ years as customers, we can confidently say this is the real deal.
