Owner- rude! Servers grabbed my condiments without acknowledging if I'm still using them. Food decent ! Will not be back!

Owner - super rude and not welcoming! Server grabbed my condiments to another table without acknowledging while I'm still eating. Food is just decent! Not a fan because of the owner and his attitude !

An absolute hidden gem I have been here countless of times throughout the years since my sister introduce me to this hole in the wall, Vietnamese Restaurant in Eden Center. I have had numerous of their Vietnamese noodle soup here, and I cannot describe how well this restaurant had nailed every single one. They are so authentic and every one of their broth is so rich and flavorful. One of the absolutely best authentic Phở in Virginia. Also a very easy place to be in and out if you're in a hurry. They always bring out my soup pretty quickly after ordering.

Kien Giang Quan is serving up the best pho in the Eden Center and in the NOVA area. Change my mind. Tucked way in the back of the Eden Center is a quiant, unassuming restaurant that you can smell before you see. The pho broth floats through the air in the corridors beckoning you towards it. The restaurant itself has about 12 tables with a max capacity of around 32 people, and they are constantly turning tables over with people coming in knowing exactly what they're ordering: pho. When the menu only has ~12 items on it and 4 are variants of the same thing (i.e., pho), you know they can do them well. I love their pho tai bo vien. The rich flavors in the broth are at the forefront and they don't skimp on the meat, noodles, or veggies. White onion slices, mint, basil and green onions... the gang's all here! They make a mean bun bo hue as well. Another nice rich, flavorful broth that is a bit spicy on its own but can be kicked up a few levels with the help of some chili. The service isn't the friendliest, but honestly, I'm not looking for that at a legit pho place. I'm there to interact with the staff a total of 4 times: being seated, ordering food, food being brought over, and paying the bill. Maybe a 5th to ask for a condiment or something, but that's it.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I was visiting DC for work when I was reccomended this place by a customer. This place was so hard to find that I almost gave up to go to any other vietnamese spot since there was so many of them in the area. I'm so glad I didn't. This is by far one of the best vietnamese foods I had in the states. They didn't have much on their menu, but that's also good because that means what they do have is what they specialize. My bf ordered bun ho hue and I ordered bun rieu. We ate each half way and swapped. Loved the broth for both of them, so rich, the crab in bun rieu was really tasty as well

After a night of drinking some friends wanted bun bo hue. Having been here before, I was more than happy to recommend this place to them. Inside to the back of the shopping center is a small shop. From the outside, it looks like just another one of the many other restaurants that you would pass if you did not know what to look for. Their menu is small and the service is not the greatest, but their food is worth checking out. We got the bun bo hue and the pho tai bo vien. The ingredients were fresh and they definitely did not skimp on the meat. The broth was flavorful and it was satisfying. I was hoping the bun bo hue had a bit more spicy to it, but you can always add more chili to it. Yes, I wish their menu was a bit bigger, but I would rather them do a few things great, than a large menu with mediocre food. Only thing I would deduct a star from is their service. The server literally took our sauce caddy when we were still eating to bring to another table without asking. However, if you can overlook that, it is still a decent meal.

Yum!! This place is so good! It's unassuming from the outside, so I normally would walk right by. Was brought here by some coworkers during lunch break and the bun bo hue here is so good. A bowl will set you back about $14, but the broth is flavorful, a little sweet, a little savory, and a nice balance of spicy. It won't leave you sweating and sniffling like some others will. The portions are generous and I was definitely stuffed and ready for an afternoon nap! They also provide an iced tea instead of water which was nice, light, and refreshing. I'll definitely be back for more bun Bo hue and maybe to try some other dishes!

Hands down BEST bun rieu in eden center! It was exactly how bun rieu is supposed to taste and they didn't add any extra things - super authentic! i will be back to try the bun mam! The only thing that was off putting was the employees using up a whole table in the middle to chit chat and watch tv. I wouldn't say i expect anything else but i was hoping for something a little different while we ate. They do have hand sanitizer at the front register, but I didn't feel like this establishment driving COVID preventative measures in full force.

Food was good. I've eaten here twice now and both time my stomach hurt. The customer service is not ever good but it's kind of expected because rumor has it, the boss takes the tips. Store is old and needs to be remodeled.

    Vietnamese chicken and rice
    Christopher S.

On the shortlist of top restaurants in Eden Center, I felt that the flavors came up short with a common theme. Having sampled the chicken pho, beef pho, and the Vietnamese take on chicken and rice, there seemed to be an overuse of msg or some equivalent flavor enhancer (chicken or beef bouillion). How do I know? Aside from the obvious post bite mouthfeel (or should I say tongue-feel?), there was an unquenchable thirst throughout the meal and hours later. A truly remarkable broth takes time and infusion of several layers of flavor whereas I was flooded by a tsunami of umami, but nothing more. Good option for those prefer to have their flavors on overdrive, but not necessarily multi-dimensional in complexity.

I have to give two ratings. Pho - 4 stars. Everything else - 1 star. The pho broth was so good that you literally did not have to add anything to it. What it lacked was quantity. I've been to other places that give generous portions where I am too stuffed to move. This one left me wanting more noodle and meat for that tasty broth. Unfortunately, all else fell flat. As soon as we entered I was smacked with the smell of chemicals. Not so appetizing with my meal but sadly enough, if you sit in the smell long enough, you get used to it. The waiter who took our order was nice. The server who brought the food should've been the customer because he was was always right! The waiter told the server that he brought the food to the wrong table. The server told him that he didn't give my nephew the wrong dish but that my nephew took the wrong dish. Mind you, the dish belonged to his mom who was sitting at a different table (we took up 4 tables). So...that meant that you brought the dish to the wrong table. You couldn't tell the server that. He was adamant that my nephew went to the other table to get the wrong dish. There were some other obnoxious and rude things that the server did but no need to mention it. We won't be going there again.
