Best pizza in the neighborhood. My go-to is bbq chicken with extra bbq sauce. They also have yummy curly fries. The only thing I wished they used were pizza boxes. Its hard to carry more than one pizza because they use pizza bags. Overall, its the best pizza joint for thin crust pizza! read more

So Pizza is great if it comes hot, but last 2 times we've ordered its been over a 90 minute wait and our pizza is Luke warm, no pizza is worth this and we'll be done or pick it up ourselves. Calling just has someone telling you "its on the way" does not solve the issue. read more

Can't really deduct a star for this, but I didn't like how they charged me $1 to use a credit card, without telling me upfront. The pizza is worth 4 stars though, and they delivered it MUCH faster than I was quoted. Like Jimmy Johns fast. Best tasting thin crust in Op area but delivery almost always takes over an hour. I think paper wrap probably contributes to the fact that pizza frequently arrives cold. And delivery drivers often use the "I have to get change in my car" trick to eke out extra tip money. I usually tip pretty generously but resent when it's forced--especially when pizza is cold and takes over an hour to get. That said, if it gets to me hot, it really is a quality pizza. read more

We arrived at 9:12 pm no one was there. All the tables were dirty and the worker was playing on his phone. One table actually had dirty dishes on it. I found it very funny how they had a yelp sign on door. A good review is not possible where the only ones there and had to wait. Saw open French bread in back that was not covered at all . It was sitting on top of some cans that also looked open. Yuck! The place had some type of smell that was not nice. Had baby toys in top of broke refrigerator and card board boxes on the floor of room. Also had tiles taped to the floor what's up with that. We left. I won't give them my money! read more

definitely had a different experience than most apparently. ordered a thin crust, and tried ordering stuffed artichokes that are advertised on the menu and they were out of them at 6pm. was weary when i picked up and there was no box, had to put in my trunk in a grocery bag to avoid pizza grease getting all over as it was seeping through the paper. this was a bad sign, but i kept an open mind. which closed when i ate the pizza. i found it very bland, certainly nothing to write home about. barely tasted my pineapple and onion. ate about half a 12", not excessively, and it's left my stomach pretty queasy. getting a couple stars for friendly staff. will not order again. update: i called with my complaint about the pizza making me sick, and the manager was rather rude to me. read more

It can be a bit of a challenge to find really good pizza around here. I tried Jimmy's (pretty bad, crazy salty and invisible sauce) Salernos (good but again too salty) or Villa Nova (excellent but they don't deliver to Forest Park and it's a bit of a drive) . Then someone recommended Bertolli's. Great pizza and friendly quick service. Their other Italian dishes are really well done too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I have had their eggplant parm many times and one time the sauce was really bland. Hey, no one is perfect but whoever made the sauce that night was not paying enough attention. We order from them about once a week and the pizza has never disappointed! I recommend these hardworking friendly people to many and I've been thanked often for that! Great place! read more

Ok. I was going to do my usual tonight and stop at my favorite pizza place, Rosati's but didn't want to drive that far so I decided to give Bertolli's a try and boy am I glad I did. I ordered the Calzone. I told the young lady who took my order that I'm new to the area and thought I'd give them a try. Boy am I glad I did. It was by far the best Calzone I ever had. She told me they have the best Calzones but she works there so what else would she say. From the first bite to the last I was not disappointed at all. Found my new favorite pizzeria. read more

Never left a negative yelp review till today.... I don't even care how good the food is because their customer service is nowhere to be found. I placed a take out order for vegetarian pizza and when I went to pick it up I asked the girl if she is certain that this is indeed a vegetarian one. She confirmed that it is, assured me that this is just how it shows up on ticket due to their computer system. I get home and open the cover up paper and surprise, all sausage loaded. I called them to explain my issue and the manager had the audacity to tell me to come back and bring the old pizza and he will make me a new one. Sorry but my time is not that free and available to drive back and forth. When I explained that this is completely out of the picture and he should refund me, he tried to accuse me of lying and tell me I have ordered a meat lover pizza.... One you want me to waste even more time to bring your pizza back and two, you are trying to tell me I am not saying the truth and have most definitely ordered a meat lovers pizza. Then he says he will credit me to come and get a new pizza whenever I want to and thats all he will do.....thx! Always a favorite in our house! Best crust ever, full of flavor, they never skimp on toppings and it's always made fresh. Just perfect! We live in the area and have done both delivery and pick up. Pick up times are usually really fast, about 20 minutes. They usually tell us it'll be 45 minutes for delivery but it's usually delivered sooner. They are often busy but that is just a testament to the great food and loyal customer base. Place your order early on weekends. I've never thought of their pizza as greasy. I mean it's pizza and you have to expect some grease with melted cheese... To me it's always perfect and super tasty. I came in here with my wife and two sons. Someone said hello to us and no one bothered to come out and take our order for 13 mins. No menus on the table. As we were waiting in the dining area two people in the back were arguing and yelling. It was kinda the last straw for me when they starting using foul language. I don't care how people rate them that only do pickup, their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I wouldn't take my 3 American Pitbulls in there for dinner. Hate to do this. Order was taken very friendly on the phone. I would reckon the place a bit overpriced, but worth a good pizza. What we got was tasting like an old frozen pizza with some extra added to it. Pepperoni tasted old, vegetables were so so. Crust tasted old. Such a pity.
