Service was decent but speedy. Overall restaurant appearance was clean and tidy in the midst of the outdoor renovation project. Music was loud but I think it's part of the ambiance. I sat down and had the worst Mexican inspired food in my life. Ordered Birria Taco that was lacking salt, dipping sauce sold separately. It also had cheese which was unexpected. The fish taco was too salty. And the Tres Leches was the top disappointment. It tasted like cake mix. You can literally see the underbaked texture in the photos. Best thing about this place is the 2 hour parking validation.

This place is a VIBE. I wish I could remember our waitress' name because she was amazing! We randomly decided to grab some tacos here before the Atlanta Dream game, and it was the best decision. Everything is authentic and tastes delicious!

We were seated quickly. Menu is a QR code you scan on the table. The Margaritas we had were good. My quesabirria was good had lots of beef but the consumme that came with it was a little watery/missing some flavor. My friend said the tacos were ok but the sauces provided did help them a little.

Parking cost $7.89 for 2 hours at Rreal Tacos inside the Bower Westside garage. The restaurant provides a validation code. LAZ Parking.

We had dinner at Rreal Tacos in West Midtown this past Monday and enjoyed it. I give the food and drink a solid four Yelp stars. The tacos and other food, as well as the margarita and michelada that we had, were delicious. There were some service and parking issues, but our server made everything right. The vibe was fun. If you're OK with loud music *and* you're looking for a lively taco joint with satisfying Mexican food and drinks, I recommend this place. This Rreal Tacos is located at the corner of Northside and 10th on ground level of the Bower Westside apartment complex. Park in the complex's garage. You can enter from either Northside or 10th. I scanned the QR code at our parking spot and went ahead and paid for parking before entering the restaurant. I was charged $7.89 for two hours via LAZ Parking. There was a sign in front of the restaurant with an alphanumeric validation code. I may have missed it, but nowhere did I see an option, before or after paying for parking, to enter a validation code. This is different from a parking company like Park Simple, which the nearby sweetgreen uses, for example. With Park Simple, you pay then validate. Park Simple makes the process easy and intuitive. LAZ does not. Long story short, our server asked a manager to discount our bill $8 to cover parking. Also, our server mentioned that another party was having problems with the validation code. This place is popular. You should make a reservation. Rreal Tacos is on OpenTable and awards points. That said, I checked the box to earn 100 points on my reservation and after two days, the points didn't show up. I had to contact OpenTable and they did a points adjustment, so watch out for that. On Monday night, the patios were closed. Inside, it was decently busy, but not slammed. We visited the Rreal Tacos in Midtown (6th St NE) on a Saturday night last December and it was packed with people waiting outside. Here's what my wife and I had at this location: Drinks: * Dragon Fruit Margarita ($13) - tequila blanco, dragon fruit, cucumber, lime, and agave * Michelada ($13) - made with Pacifico and clam Starters: * Elote ($5.99) - grilled corn with Mexican mayo, lime, queso cotija, chilito (chile powder) Tacos: * Al Pastor ($4.49) - seasoned pork slowly cooked in a spinning trompo, with onion, cilantro, and roasted pineapple * Pork Carnitas ($4.49) - pork slow-cooked, pulled, and shredded, with onions and cilantro * Pork Belly ($4.99) - braised tender pork belly seasoned with sea salt and spices, with onions and cilantro * Asada ($4.99) - flank steak, marinated, with onions and cilantro * Beef Barbacoa ($4.99) - marinated beef with a blend of chiles and spices, slow-roasted for 12+ hours, with onions and cilantro * Picanha ($5.69) - picanha steak with chimichurri sauce, topped with pickled red onions * Grilled Shrimp ($4.69) - grilled shrimp, marinated and seasoned, with slaw mix, onion, and cilantro. * Tempura Fish ($4.99) - tempura fish on a flour tortilla with coleslaw and chipotle mayo Not Tacos: * Quesabirria ($14.99) - birria barbacoa quesadilla with cilantro, onions and consomé We also ordered Guacamole & Chips ($8.99), but it never came out. Our server said it was her mistake. We told her no worries, we had enough food. Also, instead of getting a Tempura Fish taco, we got a Grilled Shrimp taco instead. Again, our server admitted she goofed. We got the Grilled Shrimp taco on the house and the correct Tempura Fish taco came out later. Despite the mishaps, our server was very nice and gracious. We appreciated her making everything right, including the parking. The food and drink came out fast and everything was presented beautifully. The drinks were terrific. The Dragon Fruit Margarita and Michelada were both well made and super tasty. I'm not sure what all Rreal Tacos puts in their Michelada, but mine was refreshing, fizzy, salty, tangy, and spicy. And it came with a tamarind straw. The tacos were fresh and filling. They were all equally good. If I had to pick favorites, they would be the Al Pastor and Picanha. The Pork Belly was also fantastic - crispy and great hit of flavor, but it was by far the greasiest. Some of the tacos were served with two tortillas, while others only one. The Quesabirria and consomé were great; savory and gratifying. Portion sizes are above average. When we were seated, I noticed our table hadn't been completely wiped clean. There was still some sauce on it. Also, our lamp was dirty. When a couple near us was seated, the lady commented the floor beneath their table was dirty. We let those things go (didn't notify staff). The bathroom I used was clean. I remember visiting the original Rreal Tacos in Midtown shortly after it opened in December 2015. This location in West Midtown opened in June 2022. There are now 10 (!) locations in metro Atlanta. The newest location opened on the Beltline two days ago, on September 15, 2025. That's a lot of growth in just under 10 years.

"Long" wait times may deter you on a Saturday night but don't let it. Hostess quoted us 45 minutes... I think we actually waited for like 10 lol. They do have parking in the parking deck behind the building and do validate parking for 1.5 hours. They clean tables and move like an assembly line which I didn't think I would appreciate until actually watching it in action lol. The establishment is kind of tight in space so you may get tapped by people passing by. It is also a rad bit loud so don't expect to have an intimate convo here. We were in and out within an hour. The food was good and came out rather quickly. I always get the esquites and a burrito bowl with shrimp, which is always a good serving size for me. Overall outside of the loudness, it was good to end the night there.

10/10 every time. I've been to this location a few times and it never disappoints. The tacos are amazing, the drinks are even better.

Reeal taco! What can I say? It is located at a very busy intersection on Northside Drive. You cant even go wrong with Rreal. I was so hungry and we happy for this meetup. I ordered a Spicy Pineapple Margarita Spicy infused tequila, fresh pineapple, coconut cream, agave & lime $13. Sooooo freakin good! We ordered the Guacamole & Chips for the table. Very good! For my entree, I ordered Birria Barbacoa-Barbacoa taco birria style with corn tortilla and melted cheese, onions and cilantro (Corn tortilla only) (gf) $5.69. The flavor was outstanding! I could have that everday. Have the consume with the Birria, its so good. Our waiter was great! Thanks Yelp..SYOY

Everything here was great! My friends and I shared the taco feast-we had steak, al pastor, chicken and fish. Everything was delicious, the al pastor was my favorite. It was 3 of us and there was plenty of food to share. We also shared the passion fruit margarita tower, it was very well made. The restaurant itself is spacious and inviting. Our server was attentive. We really enjoyed our visit.

I tecently found out about this spot through a friend, and the tacos were great. There's plenty of parking it's paid, but they give you a code for some free time. I will be back

I have now been to all of the rreal tacos. This is one of the smaller locations with the smallest along with Chamblee and the beltline has the most seating. The drinks are always constistent, but I am learning that the different locations cook their tacos slightly different. The pork belly at this location with Center and the ends more crisp. The drinks are always the same. The Halloween decorations did not miss lol that is very consistent. This server was fun.

    Off 2 a nice start...

Quesabirria was very good, my tacos(Al Pastor & Carnitas) were underwhelming. Taco meet was dry, it wasn't OLD, but was not just made...Drinks were good.

I am always down for a good taco and Rreal taco is a fun flavorful time... I went with the fried fish taco and a chicken taco both were fresh and flavorful... Service was fast and friendly... The ambiance was lively and festive... No complaints nothing but good food and great service!!!

Real Tacos was a great late-night stop and definitely lived up to the hype. We both ordered the $10…read moretaco meal (with a small $2 upcharge for some premium meats), and the value was excellent. I had the chicken and beef birria tacos with consommé, cilantro rice, and black beans. My partner went with the steak and al pastor tacos, Mexican rice, and refried beans. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, they definitely don't skimp on the fillings. The margarita flight was also a fun choice and a great way to try different flavors. We noticed they also serve huge shareable cocktails and oversized shots that looked like a blast for groups. The atmosphere is lively, especially later in the evening, with a younger crowd and a fun, energetic vibe that makes it a great spot to hang out with friends. The only thing that rubbed us the wrong way happened right after we were seated. Chips and queso were brought to the table, and we naturally assumed they were complimentary, similar to chips or bread at many other restaurants. After we had already started eating them, our server came back and took them away because they weren't included. Our waitress was otherwise friendly and provided good service, but that initial interaction felt a little awkward. A quick heads-up when placing them on the table would have avoided the confusion entirely. Overall, the food, drinks, portions, and atmosphere were excellent, and that small misunderstanding wasn't enough to take away from an otherwise fantastic experience. We'd definitely come back the next time we're craving tacos and margaritas.

Halal tacos in a small store in a gas station - how can you get more authentic than that?…read more The meats served here are all halal, which is great! I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I think I saved this spot due to some friends recommending it. Pretty decent food for a gas station…read morespot. The hubs choose x3 shrimp birria tacos while I had the beef birria quesadilla. I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
