Came here for a late lunch on Saturday. The ambiance was great, light music was playing (Spanish guitar, my favorite!). Our server was attentive. The food was terrific! I had the veggie burger, my daughters had the salmon burger and the Chilean salmon salad. They loved their food. The portions were generous. I order my lunch here almost every work day and they deliver it to my office waiting room. The restaurant is run by a lovely family. The service is perfect and fast. I work just down Beverly and order lunch from Beverliz on a regular basis. The food is decent - nothing to write home about, but still good for the price (though I'd advise avoiding the burgers) considering the other options in the area. After reading through everyone else's reviews, I'm shocked that so many people have had problems with the owner - I've eaten at Beverliz once a week for the past 6 months and haven't run into her once. The employees that have helped me were incredibly friendly and polite, they even wave to me when I'm passing by on days I decide to eat somewhere else. The food has never taken more than 20 minutes to prep - most of the time it's ready and waiting for me when I show up to pick it up. As others have noted, it does get pretty busy during lunch hour - but show up after 3 PM and you'll be greeted by mostly empty tables. read more

Beverliz Cafe gets 5 stars from me because they have very good food and an exceptional delivery service. I often order the chicken kabob and it's always satisfactory. The salads are fresh and delicious and breakfast is served all day. I think they have really good coffee too. They have an extensive menu plenty of choices to satisfy all cravings. I love this European style cafe! Food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Cosy atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. I love sitting outside. I live a few miles away, but every time I go to Beverly Hills I have to stop by and grab breakfast or lunch or even get take out. My favorite dish here is Lamb Kebab with chilean style salad. Yummy! Beverliz Cafe is the best food in Beverly Hills and very reasonable! Great selection on their menu for breakfast, lunch and I even take dinners to go! Can't beat the quality of their food, the great service by owners Anna and Art and Head server Leo and the staff. I have been dining at Beverliz for nearly 15 years and it is my most "go to" place in Beverly Hills and I'm always bringing friends here and they love it! Favorite items include my special breakfast of: egg whites w/ spinach and broccoli, turkey patty and potatoes. Love the chicken tacos, chicken salad sandwich, many diff salads, and crispy chicken salad is a winner too. There is something for everyone here and they will make whatever you want if it's not on the menu. Ok pretty basic stuff although e food was pretty good. I had the strawberry Chicken salad which was by and large ok. The chicken was tough and over cooked. They were a bit lite on the strawberries. My daughter had a chicken burger with fries and really liked it....this chicken was tender and really good with their home made spicy sauce. Out of all the cafes we eat at, this one stands out not only for the food but for the attentive staff. I think 3 or 4 different people helped wait on us with the type of attention you get at when visiting a new friend's home for dinner. This is a delicious little cafe tucked away in Beverly Hills. You can park at public parking for free about a 2 minute walk away (towards Wilshire by the huge magazine stand) or across the street for a hefty sum. There is meter parking directly in front but it's hit or miss. The service is excellent and the menu is HUGE for how small the establishment is. You can sit inside or out. They service everything from breakfasts to salads to sandwiches to mediterranean style plates and a delicious array of coffees. I'd highly recommend it for breakfast!! read more
