    Schnitzel sandwich
    Brian G.

We decided to give NUA a second chance after our previous horrible visit. Sadly it was again really disappointing - but 2 stars this time because we actually were served food but we totally fail to understand to high rated reviews that we see. First off, no one greeted us as we entered. But we learned from last time that we the customer has to take the lead and so we did when a staff member said "hi". We managed to get seated but there was no warmth either literally (on the 74 degree day the overhead fans were blowing way too hard) or figuratively - the staff just don't seem happy. Mrs G ordered falafel (not my thing) and while she said the inner green paste was tasty the outer crust was essentially burnt. She cut the green out and left the burned outer layer on her plate (leaving very little edible material for $15). I took a pic but not posted. Then she had a green salad for $17 plus chicken for an extra $9. The salad was OK and the strawberries were a nice touch. Unfortunately about 1/2 the chicken was overcooked/bordering on burned and not eaten. I had the Schnitzel sandwich ($22). The white bread was overcooked toasted so I chose to eat less than half and chicken was tasty but over cooked IMO but I ate it because there was little chicken, I was hungry and I had to eat something. Add a soda ($5) each, tax and tip (I left only 10% to show that I wasn't pleased and told the waiter) plus $10 for parking ($2 per 15 minutes) and were $100 out of pocket for lunch. We drove home and made some mac and cheese, a big salad and a glass of wine. Will we be back? No thank you. Hopefully you will be more fortunate.

I would give this place 10 Stars if possible! A real hidden gem in Beverly hills and I would highly recommend going here! A very exclusive Brunch menu but everything was a major hit! HUMMUS MASBACHA 10/10 was so smooth! Really flavorful and everyone wanted more of this! This was a vegetarian option which came with some chickpeas and a boiled egg on top. Just a heads up in case you don't eat egg that you should ask to take it off. PITA BREAD - This game with the hummus and it was perfectly warm and toasted and soft on the inside and crispy and the outside and just a mind-blowing pita bread! CHARRED EGGPLANT 9/10 was really soft and had a mild sweet flavor. It was cold which I was a little surprised by, but it went well with the warm Pita that came with the hummus! Only reason I took off a point is because it felt a little oily and it was the only item that didn't get fully wiped off the plate. CAULIFLOWER FLORETS 10/10 So flavorful and I think this might have been the family's favorite on the menu because it just disappeared. BREAKFAST BURRITO with FALAFEL 11/10 My in-laws don't eat meat or egg and wanted a proper vegetarian item for breakfast and we asked to customerize the burrito by replacing the eggs and bacon with falafel. Father in the thought he would not eat any of the burrito but ended up actually finishing his half of it! The restaurant needs to add this as an item on the menu! SHAKSHUKA with MERGUEZ SAUSAGE 10/10 What are really delicious and hearty breakfast item here. Husband and I shared this one and it was really flavorful and a good portion size as well. Good amount of sausage in there that went with the egg and the tomato sauce. JERUSALEM BAGEL - 12/10 This game along with the shakshuka and I think everyone on the table wanted more of it! It was actually warm and so huge and had that perfect crisp outside and a really lovely flavor. Cannot say enough good stuff for this one. SHUK SALAD with CHICKEN BREAST 10/10 Just a simple and healthy salad here but I would highly let the money if you want to balance out some of the heavy items on the menu but still get some vegetables and protein in. We did not use any of the dressing.

Intimate ambiance, delicious food and excellent service. Perfect place for a girls dinner night. Not a fan of vegetables, and I was made to try the Cauliflower florets, then I couldn't stop eating them. Beef skewers cooked to perfection, so juicy. The warm house pita with hummus, sealed the deal. Mouthwatering Meditterean food without the price or frills.

The food is fine, but it's expensive for what you get. This kabob plate was $50. The beef was over cooked.

Nua has a lively bar scene. It's indoors- outside restaurant and bar. It's also part of the Crescent Hotel. I love Middle Eastern food, but this was mid.

Nua had such a lovely ambiance for brunch. The space was bright, welcoming, and full of great energy. They lean more toward an Israeli-style breakfast menu, which I absolutely love. The avocado toast was delicious and the fries were fantastic. The only miss for me was the French toast, it just didn't hit the mark. Overall, the vibe, interior, and decor made the experience really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu.

The bread here is like none other I've ever tasted in my life! I've also never had Shukshuka before and this was the proper place to start. After we came home to Seattle I've been on the hunt for someplace anywhere in the ballpark as this and nothing compares. I was slightly thrown off by the huge pic of Breakfast at Tiffany's because I have the depiction of Asians in that movie. It didn't seem to fit in with the current vibe of the place and all the Asians present dining. The special framed Woody Allen piece wouldn't have caught my notice and hit so oddly if I didn't have to stare at the huge Movie Poster throughout my delicious meal. What may have been a decor anomaly became a bit of a suspicion of unawareness in judgement with the decor choices. But the food is amazing.

    Courtnie C.

Delicious shakshuka and plenty of vegan-friendly options. The challah French toast came with a generous serving of berries and was a standout. The covered patio is unique and cozy, with lots of space heaters, and the overall vibe feels intimate almost like dining at someone's beautifully styled home.

Chicken kebab and branzino -- so delicious!!
    Cassie T.

My friend and I absolutely loved Nua! We visited after taking a Pilates class and brought my dog to sit in the gorgeous patio in front of the restaurant; however, they have a lot of space with plenty of seating inside with cozy seats and more intimate tables for privacy. The service accommodated my dog very well and shared their top-tier recommendations such as the shipud, chicken thigh kebab, branzino, and of course, pita and hummus! I got the branzino for more fresh vegetables and fish and my friend got the chicken kebab in the lavash. We adored how flavorful and vibrant the food was without being too heavy, salty, or oily! The presentations of the dishes are also stunning with a fresh, vibrant ambiance to pair it with. Price-wise, a little bit higher since it is Beverly Hills, but it's fantastic for lunch and dinner, whether you want to be fancy or just have a fun day out!

    Israeli Breakfast (New)
    Elisa C.

Nua has a garden patio that is decorated with pops of color. The staff is friendly and patient as our group arrived in a staggered fashion. We went for brunch and three of us opted to get the Israeli Breakfast which is a pretty good deal because it comes with OJ or coffee. I really enjoyed the Israeli bagel that is served with tahini, hummus and eggplant dip that came with the breakfast combo. Highlight was the fries that we ordered for the table. Nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned. We also tried the cauliflower and one friend got the shashuka. We'd go back for their breakfast menu.

    The patio
    Thomas O.

The service was great, the atmosphere on the patio was cozy, and the food was fantastic. I only had the roasted salmon but was the best I've ever had. The drink was a spicy watermelon margarita type, it was average but was acceptable for bot being top shelf. I enjoyed my time here as it was relaxing and had time to write. No obnoxious music was playing from what I recall and that's a major plus compared to the places nearby.

    Deeps S.

Beautiful restaurant - we sat outside. Our server was very helpful - we are vegetarian so mostly got appetizers (mains were not veggie friendly). The pita was very soft, i enjoyed the falafel as well. The eggplant is on the sweeter side.

    Charred Eggplant! (Babaganoush)
    Susan L.

I love it here. The patio is gorgeous. The staff is welcoming. The babaganoush is delectable. The hummus is perfectly creamy and garlicky. (I'm very picky about hummus.) Even the bathroom is cute, and everything is super clean. The lunch prices are surprisingly great - especially for Beverly Hills. This is my second time here, and I remember loving the felafel but my aunt was rushing this time so we missed it. Oh, out of order, but the pita is fluffy and tasty. (It's not so great the next day, which is a great excuse to just indulge and eat it ALL at your meal!)

Not really. Actually it is a great place. The ambiance is great. Food is fantastic. Service is very good and very friendly. All in all I give them a five star.

Do they have a kosher option?

I believe so, as my friend could not order cheese with her meal. Milk was served for coffee only. Call them up. The food was fantastic.

On their website it stated that the $25 Saturday girl brunch deal was available till 4pm so we came at 3:35pm for our 3:30pm reservation. However, the hostess that sat us told us at 3:42 that their kitchen stopped serving this deal at 3:45. We were a confused, disappointed and feeling a bit misled. After some debate my friends and I almost left but they made an exception for us to get the deal which was very kind of them. Our server Bo was also extremely kind and lifted our spirits! He seriously made the brunch more special and enjoyable for everyone. Hopefully they can make the availability of the deal more clear for others cause it can be really frustrating to make the trip to this restaurant just for the information online to be false.Other wise, I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back. - valet or street parking - Small and large group seating - Indoor and outdoor seating

Brunch was $25 each person and included a starter, an entree and a dessert. They also have $10 mimosas with lots of juices to choose from. The staff was so friendly and attentive. They started us off with chips and salsa which was so good! Then we had our first round of mimosas, I got cranberry for my first two rounds and then switched over to an espresso martini with whiskey (and if you haven't tried it YOU MUST!) Not just here but everywhere! For my starter I got the berries and cream which I usually don't do but it was so good I'm glad I went outside of my box. The Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries were amazing. For my entree, I ordered the French Toast, I did not realize it was stuffed with some sort of apricot or fruit jam and was not the biggest fan of this. For dessert I went with the churros and was left feeling a bit let down. The churros needed salt to bring out the sweetness, they tasted a bit bland and the sauce that came with did not add to the flavors. Overall because it's such a cute place, the drinks are good and priced decently as well as having a large enough menu where the next visit I feel I could choose something different I would 10/10 go back. So stay tuned for the follow up review!

The caviar omakase is the must order thing here. Everything is very small bites, but if you are mostly there for drinks then à la carte is a good option. It was pretty quiet at 10:00 on a Saturday night, and we were able to grab seats at the bar. Service was fast and polite. We ordered a Midas Touch and a Big in Japan, both decent cocktails that cost a full $30 apiece. The Midas Touch was a colorful spicy margarita with El Tesoro Maybourne Edition Reposado, Empirical Ayuuk, Grand Marnier Louis Alexandre, saffron, lemon, and honey. Big in Japan was a Gold Rush variation with Hibiki Harmony, sudachi honey, lemon, sansho pepper, and yuzu bitters. There are better, more interesting cocktail bars all over L.A., but I'd recommend the Maybourne Bar if you're staying at the hotel or otherwise looking for an upscale bar in downtown Beverly Hills. You can get food, too, though most of it seems to involve caviar.

The Maverick was awesome and came complete with a show of fire. We also ordered the Potstickers which were fantastic, especially dipped in their garlic teriyaki sauce. Wow! I wished we lived closer because I would hit this place A LOT. TIKI DAVE highly highly highly recommends THE LUCKY TIKI! I will be uploading video to my YouTube channel soon! dineLA experience 2 of 3…read more So far, the best bang for your buck. They really give you all the foods. The dineLA menu is good for 2 people. Those 2 people both get the following: bone broth- wow. Loved it Steak Tartare - so much, we couldn't finish braised beef cheek - practically melted like butter 3 oz filet with salad - by the time this came we thought they were playing. It felt like a proper entree, but there was more meat coming. We then shared an 11 oz ribeye w/ grilled broccolini and ended with the chocolate cake. In conclusion, we got so much food. We ended up with a bit of leftovers which worked out perfectly for me the following day. Their garlic bread was also so good. Great service and delicious food. It's been some time since I've eaten that much red meat.

We came to Matū for the Dinner for Two, and everything we were served was impeccable. The seasoning was spot on, the salt level was perfect, and every cut of meat was cooked beautifully. I'm a big fan of my steak on the rarer side, and Matū absolutely delivered. The braised beef cheek was probably the highlight of the night for me. It was unbelievably tender, rich, and one of the most memorable bites of the meal. After finishing the Dinner for Two, which really showcased the quality of the meat, we decided to split a cheesesteak since "that's what they're known for." When it arrived, it looked incredible. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended for me. The meat tasted oddly oily. I'm not sure if it was the cut, the preparation, or even the cheese, but it came across as heavy and greasy compared to the beautifully simple, clean flavors of the steak dinner. It was also underseasoned, and I found myself tasting the sesame seeds on the bread more than the filling itself. The chips were fresh and crunchy at first, but they lost their texture surprisingly quickly, so eat those immediately. Overall, I absolutely loved the steaks, sides, and cocktails, and I'll happily be back for those. But as for the cheesesteak? Once was more than enough.

The restrooms are clean and cute Parking is slim to none! What do you expect? It's on the Sunset Strip. I can't speak to the food as we stopped in for a quick beverage before heading down the road for our dinner... But what they were serving to other patrons looked and smelled delicious. It's small. Grab a seat at the bar (which is really about it...) and start your journey to the craft cocktails with one of their friendly staff and bartenders. Be there or be square

What's left is a joyless little room with indifferent management and service that can feel actively hostile. It can get very crowded, but... The energy is just off. It no longer feels warm or welcoming, and the type of crowd it attracts now can make the cramped space feel actually menacing. The staff also becomes strangely abrasive and aloof. Especially the younger male bartender who works on Fridays. I would never go again. Even trying to order another drink somehow feels like you're inconveniencing them. It's genuinely sad how they've managed to ruin what used to be a good thing. There is absolutely no reason to put up with this place when you could go to Cecconi's, the Tower Bar, Bar 1200 at the Sunset Marquis, Jones Hollywood, Laurel Hardware, Ysabel, the Roger Room, On the Rox, or Mic's instead. The name a few! Any one of them will give you a better room, a better atmosphere, and a much better evening. TBH, I would rather endure the mechanical-bull chaos of Saddle Ranch than spend another night dealing with the bizarre vibe here. That alone should tell you everything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
