I discovered this spa through Groupon and have made it my favorite regular facial optimization station ever since Eileen introduced Ultherapy to me. Bought the Groupon deal for a facial and upgraded it the Anit-Aging Signature Facial for an extra $40 and it was a well-worth experience! Eileen is a very nice person, offering the best customer service. The minute I walked into the spa room, I was enchanted with a beautiful tea cup collection and offered a warm cup of tea. Eileen started off my day well with her friendliness. The facial experience was very soothing and comforting. I felt relaxed and had faith that my skin will be taken care of . I really like how Eileen explains in details about my skin's condition and how it would affect me in the long run. She also uses natural skin products, which I am a big fan of. Throughout the facial, she would ask me if I am OK and was very gentle with my skin. After giving me my facial and thoroughly explaining my skin's situation, she completed my 75 minutes with a wonderful massage. All in all, I loved the whole experience and came out feeling fresh and clean with confidence that my skin will be renewed and fresh! The only thing I will probably cringe about is the price. For my wallet, it is a bit pricey, but I suppose that is the going rate for most facial treatments, especially if you are looking for quality. And, if you want to take care of your skin earlier than later, it is most likely worth the investment. Beyond the Spa still deserves 5 stars, I just wish it was more budget friendly for me. The atmosphere is very nice if you want a sculpting facial. I bought Ultherapy appointment for $499 but got a sculpting facial which looked nice that day. I have done Treatment with Ulthera machines before. Ultherapy is completely different and it's not the real thing there, I'm not sure how they advertise that service. I paid a second appointment, more face sculpting and the Ultherapy applied at last however low power. So I trust I'll see some improvement since total cost was average for regular Ulthera machine. I did a package of three on my face and neck and it seriously lifted and plumped my skin, taking at least 5 years off. A group of us surprised a friend for his birthday with a massage! We discovered Beyond the Spa on Groupon and found a good deal (~$50 for a 60-min massage with a hot stone massage at the end). It was a little difficult to schedule an appointment (website inquiry didn't get a follow-up, and had to call a few times/leave a voicemail before someone got back to us). Beyond that though, our friend said he had a great massage. He does sports 6/7 days a week and said that the massage definitely helped him discovered new knots he didn't realize he had. The masseuse didn't seem to target any of the problem spots he pointed out, but he said the overall massage was still great. I upgraded mine to 75 minutes for an additional $40. And, it was so worth it! The facial technician, Eileen did an extremely good job on my facial and gave me an extra massage. First, she analyzed my skin and told me what I needed to do to improve my skin, and she will do all her best to resolve my skin problem. I have very sensitive skin. Normally, I don't trust any product or anyone to touch my skin. Since I found Eileen, I don't have to worry about that now. Eileen uses an organic and natural product for facials. She takes her time and does a complete and thorough job to treat my skin problem. After the facial, I can see a big difference on my face. I noticed that my skin looks brighter, is smoother, and fresh. The feeling is amazing. When I walk at the mall or doing grocery shopping, I see a lot of people looking at me and giving me compliments on my skin. This has never happened before. I came in one Wednesday for my ultherapy tightening service. I am a 34 years old mother of 2 that really works hard at trying to maintain my youth. Being apart of the beauty industry myself, makes me more conscience of my appearance. My neck was bothering me for a few months now and I know first hard that early prevention can add up to future years of extra youthful appearance. My neck is starting to sag and the lines are getting deeper. I know my weight gain and all those nights on the phone with my neck down doesn't help. I have heard great things with the ultherapy laser however upon consulting a different place, I was unwilling to spend $2000 on a single treatment that only gives me 25% results. So I continued to do my research and was able to find Eileen here at Beyond the Spa. She told me the process was $250 but offering a first time trial service of $125. I figured $125, I didn't have much to loose if it's a little tighter but also could continue to get better. She text me before and after photos and I must say I didn't see much difference in the side by side photos. Needless to say I was hesistant but willing to give it a go. I walked into the spa and I was so cute and charming. Eileen even greeted me with a hug and water. She was so extremely warm and inviting. Then she proceed to have a consultation with me and she seemed to just nail it! She told me she couldn't work on my neck because I needed to work on my face first. She told me that I was actually lucky it wasn't aging sagging skin but it was actually water retention. She made me pull my skin on my face and I'm so glad she did because the results I saw afterwards was just simply amazing! She told me I need to lift and tighten my face first before I could work on my neck because if I worked on my neck first, it would pull my face even farther down, adding more sagging skin. I was worried but we proceeded into the room where I changed into a more comfortable gown. She started the service on me and it felt like a warm hot stone massage. She used this machine for literally 10 mins on one side and then had me compare my face side by side and I was just in disbelief! Tighter and lifted... just like that! She made me stretch it and compare and what a change already. Then she finished the other side and one of the other girls named Clair came into the room to finish me off. She put a gel mask on my face with a vibrating mask over it. Then she gave with an arm, head, shoulder, and leg massage! I was literally snoring on the table it was so embarrassing. Talk about amazing service with amazing results! I could feel the tightness in my face and jaw! Eileen greeted me back in the front with orange juice and snacks! She then discussed my future regimen and package prices and I wound up buying a package of 4. It's way more money then I wanted to pay but I'm praying that this will be my sole place to go to for my fountain or youth! The package included $150 worth of gave oils to use on nightly. She sat me down a gave me the exercises to do nightly so I could push out the rest of the fat and keep lifting my face so my results could be even bigger next time. I was worried because my skin doesn't like oily product but since I wanted more progress I gave it a try. Unfortunately as I should've known better, it made me break out the next day. Im giving her a call to discuss what else I could do tomorrow. She is very responsive and completely hands on and responds to you at least within a few hours. They also offer body sculpting and all sorts of stuff here! I can't wait for my next visit in 2 weeks! Oh and even my super lucky husband said he noticed a huge difference and said I looked years younger! He doesn't know why everyone isn't doing it! Amazing! I am thrilled to post this review for Beyond the Spa, owned and operated by Eileen LaPorte. I met Eileen several years ago and lost track of her when the spa she worked at closed down. I soon learned that nobody out there gives as good a facial as Eileen. Luckily I recently found her again and just received her "Beauty Reborn" anti-aging facial. The results are remarkable. Eileen assessed that I had quite a bit of water retention under my jaw line, contributing to a double chin type look. She used an ultra-sound machine with collagen and deep massage to help alleviate the water retention giving me back a lovely profile. This technique also helps tighten skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines. It's done in a series of three sessions. The first session is 75 min. and the next two are 2.5 hours. After the ultra sound treatment Eileen put a collagen mask over my face. While I relaxed she gave me a hot stone massage (during the 2.5 hr treatment) over my arms and neck, which was divine. This type of facial does not include extractions. The focus is on the anti-aging technique. As I stated earlier, I have found no other esthetician who offers this type of service. No Botox or surgery needed, just go see Eileen! The location is in a charming historical home, nicely decorated. If you have time before or after your treatment Eileen will serve you herbal tea in her charming collection of teapots and cups. Eileen is also a very friendly and positive person. I have been here three times, each time for a 50 minute facial. I purchased a deal on Groupon that came with three facials. When you walk up to the spa, it's not what you are expecting. It is a small suite within a large building. The door to the building has a keycode area and appears locked, but it isn't. Walk right in! It's definitely not a hotel spa, or a spa that is owned by a large corporation, but it is a small business, and it is very quaint. The first time, I had Eileen. She was personable, thorough, and tailored the facial to my skin. She made sure to exfoliate extra for me! The facial included multiple appllications/removals of creams, exfoliants, and solutions as with a normal facial. It also included a hand and arm massage, which was really relaxing. The second time, I had Tracy. I enjoyed her facial more during the experience - I actually fell asleep when she massaged my hands and arms! She also did extractions, which were painful, but I definitely wanted those pores unclogged. At the end of the facial, she put a tinted moisturizer on me, but when I looked in the mirror, it was all splotchy and oily. I had to remove it right away! I actually broke out with a few pimples after this facial, so I'm not so sure I liked it better than Eileen's over all. The third time, I had Eileen again, and I can confirm that I like her facials much better. You can tell she has talent, expertise, and experience when she preforms the facial. As expected, she applied and removed many things, massaged my hands and arms, and also used a device that felt like a cold stone, but I think it was an ultrasonic device, and I liked that! read more

This is my third time getting the Anti Aging facial at Beyond The Spa. I have to say that this is the best place to for facial so far. I had my facial with Eileen on my first 2 visits, and loved it (I wrote about her more detail in my first review). This time, I had my facial with Tracy because Eileen is oversee. At first, I was a little hesitate, but the facial turned out great! My skin was glowing after the facial. Tracy is super nice. She is knowledgable and professional. She is very detailed, and knows exactly what she was doing. If you like having facial with Eileen, and since now she is away for awhile, don't hesitate to give Tracy a try. I bought the voucher for permanent lip makeup and had a horrible experience. My lips ended up way too dark but in spots only. I could not even look nice with lipstick two months after. People stopped me to ask what happened to my lips. Not to mention the horrible pain. I ended up going to Pearl Nails to have them redone and this process was less painful and results far better--but you can still see the dark spots from the first experience. read more

I wasn't sure that I should write this review as the owner Eileen was so nice, but I feel that I should share my experience. I bought a Groupon for permanent eyeliner on my upper lids. I arrived Friday afternoon for my appointment. I was greeted warmly by Eileen. She showed me some pictures of clients who had the same procedure done and assured me she has been doing this for 15 years. I felt somewhat better, but I was still nervous as this is a permanent procedure. I proceeded to remove whatever eye makeup I had on that day, and she took some before pictures. Then she had me apply eyeliner as I would want it. She told me it looked crooked, but that she would fix it. She then applied the numbing cream on my eyelids. But she put a glob on my left eye, and it burned for a while. We waited for about 20 minutes for the cream to take effect, and then she started. It actually hurt a lot. Either I had wiped too much of the goop off that had gone in my eyes or she waited too long to begin. She never re-applied during the process. My eyes watered tremendously during the entire time. Then she told me my eyes were too swollen to proceed, and that we better wait until the touch up procedure to finish. When I looked in the mirror, my left eye was okay, but my right eye did not match the left one. Basically the eyeliner was completely uneven. She told me it was okay, and that she would be able to "fix" it during the touch up. But basically, the left eye followed the shape of my eye. The right one was thicker and curved up more. I guess when my eyes are open you can't really tell, but you can definitely tell when my eyes are closed. I was mortified. She wanted me to come back a month later for the touch up, but I definitely did not want to go back and have it become more of a mess than it already is. I called up a different place, and I ended up going there for my touch up. The eyeliner cannot be fixed unless I want it thicker, which I don't. But the lady at the other place was able to make it look a little better and not as noticeable. I had a different and much better experience there. I will also write a review for this place shortly. I'm sure it worked out better for some people, but I wish I had never gone here for my permanent eyeliner. read more

This place has become my sanctuary. The minute you walk in you are greeted by the sweet owner and aesthetician, Eileen. A room filled with her tea cup and pot collection, as well as a wide range of teas and snacks to choose from. I purchased a groupon for 3 facials and upgraded all 3 sessions for $100 total to have better products + hot stone massage. I have what she calls, a stage 2 acne problem, i.e. more than 5 acne's at any one time. She takes the time out to give me detailed, yet painful extractions. I did ask her why there's no steam, and she explained that the steam counteracts with the product she uses, plus using facial products to open pores is beneficial to the skin while steaming has no benefits. In summary, although she does not explain every thing she does, both my experiences here have been extremely comfortable and I trust that she is extremely experienced and skilled at what she does. Whenever I ask her any questions about the procedures, she gives me great answers. My skin is not pimple free yet, which she says will take about 3 months, but I just can't wait to see her again! One thing that I think CAN be improved is that I only wish she had some machinerary. For example, red light or oxygen pumps. I've been to facials before where I received complimentary red light/ oxygen pumps after excruciating extractions and it always seems to make my skin heal much faster.
