Biagio's has good Italian food in a classy setting. One side is a sit down restaurant that is nice and good for family dinners, etc. on the other side, there's a bar and some TVs, as it's a popular drinking spot for locals. They also have a large hall that can be used for special events, such as weddings. Is it best Italian food in the world? No, but it's good and fairly priced. Recently my family had a surprise birthday party for me at Biaggios. Everything was great. The service was excellent they timed the courses perfectly. The food was delicious and weeks later the guests are still commenting how great the food was. I think they have gained several new customers. Lastly the servers helped us take pictures and even brought out a large wine bottle and goblet as props. You can't go wrong here the food is consistently good. Try the chicken giambotta , salmon or penne ala vodka just try not to fill up on the complimentary garlic bread it's our favorite. read more

Restaurant could use some updating inside with regards to the decor & general vibe, seems a bit run down. Sat at a table within the bar area on a weeknight for dinner. Service was excellent, which was/is a major plus. Food was OK, my steak was really overcooked. Pretzel appetizer was delicious. My sister-in-law had her wedding shower and I had my baby shower here. The place was set-up nicely. They food was good but nothing nothing out of this world. The service was great and the ambience was really nice. I would highly recommend this for small parties. read more

I've never eaten a meal here I did not like. Happy Hour is tops, cheap picky food and the sliders are outstanding. The short rib gnocci is to die for. My only tip is that if you don't like the service, sit at the bar. Been here for everything from big fancy affairs to hanging out after work. More classy than your average townie place. read more

I was there a month ago on a saturday place was kinda busy the food was ok nothing to rave about and it took forever between course Afterwards went to bar for a drink the older male bartender in service was very busy but came over quickly and greeted us warmly made us a good drink i thought he was working alone but than another other male bartender came out of the kitchen we were already on second drink and came over and asked us something which we could not understand what he was saying and got kinda upset and rude when i told him i didn't understand him and what made matters worse was his breath was terrible smelled like he just smoked a whole pack of cigs so when he said something else i told him i was ok than he disappeared again but prob for another smoke felt bad for other bartender who was excellent read more

Good restaurant overall. Atmosphere is good, plenty of parking is available which is nice. Food is ok but tends to be very plain and doesn't really stand out...which is fine, just can't give it more than 3 stars when there are so many other options for quality Italian food in North Jersey. read more

I had my wedding reception at Biagio's and it was wonderful. We worked with Tommy and he was great. He anticipated every need of me and my husband. He really was like an extra wedding planner. The food was excellent everyone had a great time and ate the whole time. I definitely would recommend Biagio's and would use them again for family events. April 21, 2019 (Easter Sunday) Let me start out by saying we have been going to Biaggios for 20+ years. It was my Father's favorite restaurant. We now live in upstate NY but still manage to go to Biaggios. That's how much my family likes it. I was really disappointed on Sunday it seemed very unorganized. We waited a half hour for our appetizer and only got it when waitress brought us our salads and we said we didn't get appetizer yet. My husband had the veal dish with butternut squash. We also waited at least another half hour for it to arrive and his dish was cold and no butternut squash because waitress said they ran out. We were there several months ago and had a similar experience. In my opinion the opening of "the Terrace" has had a negative affect on our beloved restaurant. To the owners please take this as constructive criticism from fans of Biaggios. read more

A month ago my friend and I came in to celebrate a friends birthday. When she had to pay the bill the bartender Nicole and the owner called her a bitch for no reason. She asked about the bill because they didn't charge her happy hour prices and the owner said that I was bitching about it. She's been going there for years and we felt so disrespected. Tried to talk to the owner on the phone about it recently and not only did he verbally attack us again, he denied the incident, and rudely hung up on us. Needless to say we will never be going back. I will also be sure to let all my friends know about the rude and horrible service. Will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau about the situation. read more

Great local bar, restaurant and reception hall. Have used all three extensively and have always experienced prompt and friendly service. Menu is thorough. I tell my guests "When you see what you want on the menu order it, you will enjoy it." Never disappointed and good value. Bar staff are top notch so you do not wait long for your drink. You can order full menu at bar at any time. Greek salad is killer. Usually have games on TV, along with news during the day. Reception hall out back is one of nicest in Bergen County. Family owned and operated. Low turn-over so the wait staff all know their stuff. read more

After a long absence, my wife and I returned for dinner earlier this evening. The experience reminded me why we had enjoyed Biagio's for so long. My wife had the lobster ravioli, while I ordered the sea bass as a special. Both meals were superb and very reasonably priced. Our waiter was Mario who has been at Biagio's for as long as we can remember. And Mario is a great waiter, too!!! We look forward to more splendid dinners at Biagio's in the future. read more

At first, I was concerned with some of the negative reviews, but was always curious about this place so our family went for dinner on a Friday evening. We had a wonderful experience and the food was great. The garlic bread basket and water was relatively prompt. We had the chef's plate and Caesar salad as appetizers, followed by a couple of pasta dishes and mushroom risotto. The risotto was amazing and highly recommended. It was a lot of food so we had to take a lot home. Next time, I would try many small dishes as opposed to ordering an appetizer and main entree. Our waiter was very nice and proactive in giving us recommendations, checking up on us often. It was past nine and still crowded. I guess it's a very popular local establishment. The only problem would be the lack of parking spaces even with a huge parking lot, and the loud noise that comes from the bar. But overall, it was a great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone. read more

Went here for my company holiday party. Was not really impressed with ...anything. They have a large parking lot, but no parking, had to drive around to the free valet, which sounds great, but you then have to walk outside around the building to the entrance. Average room. I did not really like the food. Nothing tasted that great or even fresh made. prime rib was chewy, fresh steamed veggies...literally left the stalks on the brocolli. Deserts (not sure about coffee, don't remember even seeing any) did not taste in house made either. Biagios is bar area is very small.The crowd in the earlier of the night is much older better if you go past 11ish.. Towards the end of the night it seems to get crowded fast and you cant really enjoy yourself. The bartenders are a bit cheap on buying rounds. Wouldnt recommend drinking their but The pizza is great. read more

We have been going to Biagio's for the past 10 plus years. Great food and a friendly attentive staff. A favorite place for just me & the wife or for a gathering of friends. Always a warm welcome by the owners and staff. We know most of the waiters by name and they treat us just like family. Enjoy going here on a winter evening with a table near the fire. Bottles of wine are delivered to your table & opened and poured by the owner...Nice touch. Bar is lively and the drinks are promptly refilled. We had our event in "The Terrace" room which was just breathtaking, from the cocktails to the dessert buffet - we were Blown Away. I cannot begin to thank the staff at "The Terrace" at Biagio's enough for the over-the-top effort they did in making our event incredible!!! On October 19, 2014 we hosted a 60th Surprise Birthday Party there and we are still Amazed!!! We had close to 100 people and celebrated just like a wedding. Paula and her staff are a powerhouse, simply magical, incredibly service oriented, world-class service, always returning our calls right away and accommodating our every want and need. Our Special evening I must say Rocked! Spectacular buffet tables!!! Excellent food!!! Everyone has been raving about the food and drinks, the dining staff didn't leave one detail out, the bartenders were friendly, always smiling and very polite. Our personal waitress took care of us so well, made us feel like royalty. She stood right by our side and no matter what we needed she was right there. Paula had the whole night in control, I didn't worry about a thing. All I can say is Bravo... The theme of our party was "Sweet Memories" and this was an unforgettable evening and thanks to The Terrace at Biagio's for AN UNFORGETTABLE SWEET MEMORY!!!! We are so pleased and stunned still. Wonderful. We held a birthday celebration last evening for a large crowd with a pre-selected menu selection. One of the choices was the Chateaubriand. Every order was served exactly the way it was ordered, perfect and delicious, as were the other choices, chicken and halibut. The waiter was extremely attentive and made sure no one had a want for anything. I will most definitely have any future parties at Biagios. PS. We went here for lunch yesterday. We got the artichoke franchese for an appetizer. Incredible. My companion had the crab cake which was delicious, huge, and filling. We've taken out from this place 2 times already mainly because, after class at Bergen Community, it's conveniently close by. The food stays piping hot all the way back to NY and we've enjoyed it both times. Penne Saltimbocca alla Romana this time with a large house salad and an additional side of sauteed Spinach with Garlic (not too heavy on the garlic at all) and last time Minestrone Soup and Fettuccini con Pancetta. The food is good and it's a nice amount for the price. I'd like to sit down there sometime just to see if it gets the last 2 stars, but that'll have to wait until we can get there earlier than 9:30PM. These late night dinners are H-E-Double Hockey Sticks on my waistline. They seem to have a large enough menu and the pictures of this place look nice over the internet. (That's how I ordered the last time) So far, this restaurant definitely makes the grade. read more
