I'm all about rice bowls and you'll get a pretty good one at Bibibop! I really liked the variety they offered between the different types of veggies, the rice and noodle options, and even having a few types of chicken. The place was clean, and servers were nice. The serving size was huge, and It seems like as many veggies as you asked for, they would keep piling them on! While I loved the different ingredients, the flavor was just alright to me. I got the spicy chicken and their sriracha, and there just wasn't anything screaming for me to eat more. Maybe it was just the thickness of the sauce as well, but it didn't really spread through my dish well. There are several sauces, so maybe with experimentation I could find the right combo here. 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up since it's opening day and there are bound to be a few mistakes. I ordered ahead online for a 12:15 pick up. My bowl and drink were ready when I got there. There was a tent with some branded swag out front (yay free tote bag!). The manager greeted me and had someone bring me my food. Everyone was very friendly. Really my only complaint was once I was back at the office and took out my bowl I realized that my tofu bowl had NO TOFU. Listen, I know tofu is a controversial food but I genuinely love it and was very sad it was missing. Luckily I had loaded up with all the available veggie toppings so my bowl was still filling and tasty. My passion fruit lemonade was yummy too. But I missed the tofu. Tried a new place tonight and To me I didn't get the wow effect that would make me want to return. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very nice. Ultimately the concept behind this place is like going to a Moe's or Chipotle and making your own bowl, but this is with Asian foods. There is no way to get your food other than in a bowl (no wraps, no buns, no external carbs). You basically go in and choose your base; salad greens, sweet potato noodles, purple rice, or white rice. Then You pick a protein that consist of either beef,chicken spicy, chicken,or tofu. They have a small array of veggies that you add on top, and then a few sauces to top them off. They do offer a few "put together bowls" that they offer to make your choice easier. I had no idea where to start, so I went with the BIBIBOP Fan Favorite. I had never even heard of sweet potato noodles before and so I was kind of excited to have them. They are clear noodles, that are kind of jellious and springy in texture but has no flavor (not slimy). The purple rice tasted just like white rice, but apparently is better for you than white rice from a healthy standpoint. Over all the bowl was good. It had fresh ingredients and everything was hot, but like I said before there was really no "WOW" factor to it. We also got the Korean Beef & Noodle bowl. This bowl had a little more flavor to probably because it had kimchi. We also added the sweet & spicy yum yum sauce, along with the yum yum sauce. The combination of the ingredients in this bowl went very well with each other. I think the Fan Favorite owl would have benefited from some additional spice personally. They offer free miso soup with your purchase. It was a standard miso soup, not very flavorful. I felt it needed more salt personally which is weird because Miso is usually salty to begin with. For desert the staff recommended the COCONUT MILK PUDDING WITH MANGO. I was surprised this don't have more flavor. It's hard to describe the texture of this desert other than a ball of paste in some unsweetened coconut milk, sprinkled mango shavings. I was not a fan of this at all. Over all the restaurant was good, but as I previously stated, it lacked the appeal for me to want to come back....on a side note...most of their seatings are at high top tables with stationary stools you can't move. If you have a "beer belly' type of figure, you will not be able to sit at these tables comfortably. They do offer a few booths, and a few longer tables with adjustable chairs, but I can see seating being limited during busier times. read more

i've been meaning to come try this place & it's definitely met my expectations! i love bibimbap & love the idea of making my own with my own base, toppings, & sauce! it was very clean, menu board was easy to read & servers were nice. i asked to make my own bowl & got half greens half sweet potato noodles with tofu as my protein then got almost all the toppings & tried the teriyaki sauce. the combination was so delicious & i can't wait to try more later! i really enjoyed the noodle option as i've been in the mood for noodles & would recommend trying it if you are too! their drink options were so plentiful with so many different flavors of lemonade too (my friends tried the hibiscus & passionfruit ones)! i wish it was closer to me as it's thirty minutes away but honestly would be worth the drive. read more

It looked good during preparation and I thought it would be delicious, but it just was not. I gave it a 1 on a 1-10 scale. The server recommended a spicy sauce be added to my bowl. There was no real flavor to taste. My wife's bowl also looked good, but she only gave it a 6 on a 1-10 score, and she was being nice because it was a BOGO. First visit here on their grand opening day and boy was I impressed! Fully staffed with friendly, knowledgeable employees. While we're waiting in line to order the head of marketing chatted with us. He was there for the grand opening and told us a little about the company. They are based in Ohio but have expanded to several states. This is their first location in NC. As you move through the line you pick your "base", then your toppings (unlimited), your protein and finally your sauce. Everything looked fresh and well stocked and everything is gluten free. For my base I chose half super greens and half sweet potato noodles. The noodles look like glass noodles. You would not know they are gluten free or made from sweet potatoes but they were delicious. I chose numerous toppings, chicken for my protein and the sesame ginger sauce. It was so flavorful and fresh. There is free miso soup near the drinks.
