I was told by Sh***** to reach back out if the refund had not shown up in my account after 7-14 days. Well, that was July 29th and it is now August 28th and I have still not receievef the refund. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I reached back out out to Shannon 6 days ago and she told me it was turned over to the billing department and she would call me when they have an answer.... I contacted her again yesterday (after 1 week had passed) and she still had no information for me.... and now has been unresponsive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What is the problem here? I feel like I have been jerked around. If they wanted to figure out what is going on and give me an answer they could in a matter of hours. Also wanted to mention that the plumber that came to do the work was knowledgeable but extremely rude when I told him the plumber that I usually use has much lower prices for fixing the things Big Air told me I needed fixed. The plumber I use is a small business and apparently he feels he can charge these better prices and still get by... more power to him. Right? Well, Big Air's plumber, V***** said it is "wrong of my plumber to charge such low prices and that is a diss to the plumbing trade and undercutting others in the industry" blah blah blah.... excuse me? Basically acted like my plumber does not know what he is doing as he started to question how he did a pressure reducing valve at my other property....Just because he is giving his customers better prices that arent inflated like Big Air's does not mean anything of the sort.... it means he will probably end up with more customers because he is a good plumber and has way better prices. Also, it is bad business and not good practice to talk poorly about other businesses in your trade because you are mad they are exposing your high prices. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I've used Big Air previously for some maintenance work and was happy to call them back when the blower stopped blowing. Of course it was when we had 100+ degree days that it goes out. Called the office and they got me an appointment the next day. The repairman came over and found the issue and went over all our options. In the end we decided to replace the entire HVAC system since it was over 20 years old. Hector and his partner showed up on time, wearing clean uniforms and was very friendly and personable. During the recent 100+heat wave, our AC went out. I had a long list of companies to call, but after calling a couple that said they couldn't come until the next day, BIG Air Conditioning was able to come out the same day. They fixed our unit in no time. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is because I just saw in Yelp that they offer discounts. Your technician Rogelio came and replace the gas valve, he told me that the gas pressure of the furnace was at 4.5 instead of 3.2 as specified on the label place on the unit. Due to the high gas pressure, the flame sensor was burn, he cleaned the part, and order a new one last week. AC stopped working and Big Air was able to come out soonest, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, after their "fix," the AC stopped working again within a few days. The first technician, John L, charged us almost $2,000 for work which obviously didn't fix the issue. We paid an additional $200 for a 2nd technician, Noah, to come back. Knock on wood, so far so good. We appreciate the quick response and both technicians as well as the person answering the phone were very nice. But I do wonder whether all the work we were charged for the first time was really necessary. Also, we had to pay an $89 diagnostic fee both times. It doesn't seem right that we were charged 2 diagnostic fees for the same problem, just because the first technician wasn't able to resolve the issue like he should have. Still, assuming the AC continues to run, we're happy with the service overall and would consider using Big Air again based on all their other positive reviews -- however, we might request a specific technician. I believe the original technician was outsourced because their regular ones were busy, and I suspect that ended up costing us more money. read more

After conducting 3 estimates for the same work these cowboys came in $7000 dollars higher in their bid. This obviously does not reflect fair business practices. After 3 scorching weeks without air conditioning while waiting for my home warranty and their contracted HVAC company to bring relief, I decided to contact Big Air for the job after initially communicating with them just a few years earlier. To say it was a smooth process interacting with Big Air would be an understatement. I made the call to Big Air on Wednesday, a consultant/technician (Anthony) visited my home on Thursday with a fair quote, and the installation started Friday morning. Everything moved like clockwork with both HVAC units being readily available for installation. My old furnace and AC unit were removed and replaced with new units with superb installation craftmanship by Ernesto and Patrick. My new HVAC system not only looks great, but the team helped bring everything up to code and left the work area tidy. Great experience with Big Air. They were one of four businesses to quote us for a new HVAC system. We went from single zone to dual zone. They were the most affordable bid of the four we got and they also sell Trane, which is a very reputable brand. They also gave us a military discount, which I really appreciated. Communication was pretty good. My contact was James and he was very helpful. Everything went as planned on the timeline. They could've been better at communicating about the duct tester needing to come out after the fact, but that was minor. We did have a minor issue with the AC after install, but James came out right away and fixed the problem and it's been functioning well ever since. read more

It was a scam on the maintenance service on my heater unit on Oct 18. I was paying for a replacement part (Titan Pro Run capacitor TOCF5)that costs less than $8 but the bill was $229. I bought this maintenance package for $336 for maintenance service on heater and air conditioner. I was told a blower capacitor is not functioning, which was changed during year 2020 maintenance with the same company. This is just a plug in capacitor which does not take much labor to do so. I have been a royal customer for the last 4 years, but now will never subscribe to the service with this company again with this overcharging. I really regretted agreeing to the change of the capacitor. Oct 23, 2023, After submitting the review of the overcharge for the replaced part, I received a call from the General manager apologizing for the issue and was refunded the full amount of $229. I am happy that this company takes an immediate response to customer complaints seriously and rectifies the issue raised. read more
