Juan came with the sales pitch (i:e: if you agree to go with us now, we'll give you a discount...but only if you decide RIGHT now). I had to sit through a binder presentation and he told me I needed a new furnace to go with my air conditioner unit because the A/C condenser and furnace have to pair up for operational purposes and they won't replace one unit only if they are both more than 8 yrs old. He showed me some scary pictures of his furnace "inspection" and said my furnace was a fire risk, had evidence of decomposition and potential CO exposure and in the "interest of safety", he recommended a full system upgrade. The pictures were legit bad and concerning, but the funny thing is, the pictures he showed me were not the inside of my furnace. I had 4 other local vendors come after him and all of them showed me photos of inside my unit. Guess what? Their pics all matched each others and none matched Juan's pictures. Weird right? The other 4 local vendors inspected my furnace and all of them noticed the refurb of all the major components I had done 5 years ago. All said that no furnace replacement was indicated and my furnace was in great shape with many high functioning years left. Weird right? I intentionally never offered that info up to any vendor before the inspection as a secret test to see who would be an honest tradesman and who would not. See a pattern here folks? Juan's quotes came in at $17,500 for an electrical system (a/c and furnace) and $18,046 for a gas system (a/c and furnace), because you know...can't just replace the AC unit in his world. All other vendors (who have higher/better reviews on Yelp btw) came in between $8-10k for a new a/c unit. Again, all said no need for a new furnace. So, i'm counting my lucky stars I wasn't duped. Going with someone else and getting my new A/C unit installed tommorow

I was a new homeowner in 2022 when Vic (the owner) and his company, Elite Comfort Systems, saved my…read morefamily (including the feline members) from sweltering in 100+F degree weather by diagnosing and repairing my air conditioner. Since then, they've serviced the almost 22 year old system at my home, nursing it along. With each semi-annual "check-up" service, they advised me on what I needed to do, and what could wait. When funds were tight, they suggested stopgaps to help. Because of this history, when Alex showed me that my heater was leeching carbon monoxide into my home, I knew I could trust him. While I waited for my appointment, I was provided with space heaters gratis. This IS an independently owned business, and they treat customers like family. Ozzy (Osvaldo) and Anthony installed a new heat pump and air conditioner for me last week. They were at my home three days. Not only were they professional, friendly, and polite, they were also respectful of my home--taking time EVERY day to cover my carpeted areas, covering their boots as they came into and exited the house, and cleaning up any installation debris before they left each day. Ozzy and Anthony discovered that a part of the original system was not going to work as efficiently with the new system (the dampers) given the difference in the size. Ozzy explained the difference to me, noted the cost, and the pros and cons. He didn't pressure me to upgrade the items but he made sure I had enough information to make a decision. At the end of the installation, Ozzy took the time to show me how to use the new digital thermostat controls and gave me tips on how to use the system economically. He provided me information on how to follow up if there were ever any problems. Just like other times, Vic called a few days later to see how things were going (I missed the call, but still...so so kind and thoughtful). It's a lot of money to replace your entire HVAC system, no matter which company you use, but hiring one where you know you can trust the company. Simply put, you'll never have worries about trusting Elite Comfort Systems.

I installed a unit, but apparently I didn't ferrule my lines very well, and it lasted a week. (the…read moreold lines from the previous Chinese unit were 6 inches of copper soldered to aluminum to 6 inches of copper, which gives 4 more places to leak so I didn't use them; that unit's motherboard failed.) They wanted $4,169 to fix my lines (new ferraled lines from the manufacturer are $150, and to refill ($125 in freon) total job one hour for me To redo everything, $8,929 I recently installed in my 2,400-square-foot home a whole new heating and AC system for $24,000. They also wanted to redo my 115 volt lines to 220 volts. This system does NOT run on 220 volts. He mentioned how it uses less electricity. NO, it does not. I'm an electrician. 115 volts, 20 amp is the same as 220 volts, 10 amps because 220 volt is 2-115 volt lines, which are 10 amps each line = 20 amps. and he said my water drain wasn't installed properly, but it was according to the manufacturer. (just drain it outside, period.) My unit from 'Heat and Cool' was only $400 without the AC lines; this is the 4th unit I've installed and only one that failed my installation. it comes with a 1-year warranty, 5/7 if you get an ac guy to install it and 7/10 for an extra $150 Well, Elite isn't going to slap their sticker on this unit, so they will lose future business. That's NOT good business; that's simply greed
