Come to Avon, IN and get a Georgia Peach Muffin-Delish.

Such a lovely, quaint shop. The customer service was excellent. The shop was very clean and so was the restroom. The muffins (Georgia Peach and Cranberry Orange) were delicious. We had smoothies and they were thick and delicious. Will visit again before leaving Avon.

I can tell this restaurant has seen its fair share of regulars over the years, and I've always wanted to stop in. It was great for a quick morning bite or classic drip coffee. But for a lunch date, the restaurant was very messy and most of the counter shut down and piled with boxes. We waited quite a while for our food, then our order was actually wrong, and we waited again. The meat/toppings on the sandwich was quite slim and the bagel itself was good but very dry and crumbly. I'd like to go back and give it another shot. The mini muffins look really good!

Cindy was phenomenal! Never been here before and she was so patient with me ordering slowly! Loved all the bagels, soft and fresh!!! Lots of options! Tried the jumbo muffins, oh soooo good!!! The iced coffee needs some work, was not very sweet even after adding extra syrup and milk, but it was a big size. Lots of seating indoors and out. Definitely will be back!

Need a place to do you work that isn't FREEZING like Starbucks? This your place.Big Apple is a must try in Avon. It's a cozy little coffee shop. The owner is the nicest guy you'll meet. Great bagels. I'm a huge coffee drinker and they have the best hot coffee I've ever had (if they have blueberry coffee that's the best).

The bagels were good but what really made this place stand out was the customer service! Employees were nice, patient with my indecisiveness and gave great suggestions! Stopped in on a Sunday around 8:30 and was surprised to see the place full! Nearly every table was taken by people enjoying some coffee and breakfast! The inside was simple but had the basics. Two tables outside for those wanting some fresh air. Picked up some bagel sandwiches to go. They were simple but made for a delicious breakfast! Plenty of options for bagel flavors to customize your sandwich on. Will be back to try some muffins!

I don't ever write reviews but I walked in to get lunch for my mom and I. I brought my daughter who is on oxygen and I have to lug around her generator, her, her diaper bag, etc. it's a lot. So I ordered, this wonderful lady said hello to my daughter and then offered to bring my food out to my car. It's a small gesture to some but huge to me. I told her I didn't want to be a bother and she said it wasn't at all and she was happy to do it. It made me so happy to think she was thinking of how to make my life just a little easier. So she brought me my food and said "you're doing amazing mama" I don't know her name but I've been coming here since I was in high school and they've always always been so kind. Amazing place.

My family and I came for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant wasn't busy and we were able to order and find a table very quickly. The bagels were delicious and a light meal for lunch. My son loves eggs and was able to get a breakfast bagel sandwich while the rest of us had lunch. It was counter service which was ok.

A well-deserved 5 stars! To start, the service was incredible. Post-Covid, we all pay lots of attention to the workplace. Whoever is management at this location is crushing it. Even the younger staff are incredible and so nice. The food was top notch as well. Breakfast bagel places aren't always my favorite based on small portions alone, but they LOADED our bagels and they were packed with all the right flavors. Inside the facility, we watched another breakfast patron capture and release a bee in the restaurant. It was adorable and a very pleasant watch while standing in line. It has a very cute inside with a small coffee bar. It was busy, but worth the wait. I love the small-town places and Big Apple gave me that. Great place, great food, great coffee. It was nice before a long drive.

Clean and fast service. Bagels need to be all cheese in order for it to be soft. Make sure to take out of foil as soon as possible or bagel will be too soft and lose the crunch of the bagel after being toasted. I get it with turkey sausage. Needs some sauce or becomes too dry. I don't know if they sauces but luckily I have some at home like spicy salsa.

Honestly kinda disappointed in my visit today and previous visit before. I always loved and still love BAB, but these last 2 times were just a miss. I ordered a breakfast BLT... When i got it and went home, there was no tomatoes, thin layer of cream cheese and soggy lettuce. Very dry. I feel there might of been miscommunication between the lady taking orders and the kitchen. Last i went i got the chicken wild rice soup, it was very thick, like it wasn't made properly or was missing chicken broth/water. So i haven't been since, today i go, and its another miss. The muffins are still absolutely fabulous

okay sooooo i love a bagel breakfast sandwich. Top 3, PERIOD. there are only a few einstein's left and none are by me. i was so excited when i 1. saw their menu online 2. saw how close this was to me 3. went inside and saw this was a local /neighborhood place, they're individual franchises. i ordered the start fresh on a toasted cinnamon sugar bagel ( this thing is absolutely wonderful) . everything is made fresh and when it's finished the manager walks it out to you bagged up. like???? *insert teary eyed emoji here* $6.54 because i add strawberry cream cheese to mine - you're welcome- have i been a couple days in a row? let's mind our business. there is def a line in the morning so give yourself 20 extra minutes if you're going to go before work. there are tables to sit inside and eat. staff and customers are still wearing masks and i really hope they continue with this so others & myself can keep safely patronizing. they currently are open from 4am - 2pm

If you like eating regular bread...this place is fine. They should be ashamed to put NY in the name. Not anywhere near NY-style bagels.

This time with my husband and told him it was pretty good. We were seated very quick, it was around 11 am and it's a Thursday. The server took our order but forgot to bring my water. I got the "Mad Platter" which comes with three eggs, three meats, fried potato's (or grits), toast, and a pancake or French toast. I asked for well done eggs, which means the top part is cooked, which I explained to the server. When I got my eggs back they were completely runny. I just ate them as was because I don't mind runny eggs, I just wasn't particularly in the mood for them. It came with a ton of sausage. The toast came out cold but everything else was okay. I asked again for my water. She didn't bring it out when she came to give us something but got it afterwards. We were a party of 5 so we had some dishes and cups piling up. The server NEVER picked up anything from the table. Leaving it cluttered. Then, before asking if we were done or if we had anything we needed she brought us the check. And then just told us we didn't have to rush. You should always make sure your patrons are done before giving them the check, it's just common courtesy. She never returned to our table. My husband complained the syrup was runny. And the biscuits and the gravy was dry. Overall mid food, not sure if they got a new cook but it wasn't anything to write home about. The service was blah and definitely needs improvement. The first server I had when I first visited was really nice and attentive. I would say it's a place to visit at least once but we will not be returning. I hope you have a better experience!

My visit to The Green Room Cafe was nothing short of a caffeinated revelation…read more From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere that felt like a secret garden had collided with an artist's dream -- warm, inviting, and humming with just the right kind of energy. The service was absolutely impeccable: attentive without hovering, warm without pretense, and delivered with the sort of genuine hospitality that makes you feel less like a customer and more like an honored guest at an impossibly chic gathering. And then came the drinks. The pistachio latte was a masterpiece of balance and indulgence -- velvety, nutty, and luxuriously smooth, as though a pistachio grove had somehow been distilled into liquid silk. Each sip unfolded like a sonnet. The wildflower latte, meanwhile, was pure poetry in a cup. Delicately floral without being overpowering, it carried an almost ethereal sweetness, like spring itself had been persuaded to dissolve into espresso. It was whimsical, elegant, and astonishingly memorable. The Green Room Cafe has achieved what so many coffee shops aspire to but few truly accomplish: creating not just beverages, but an experience -- one steeped in artistry, comfort, and just the right amount of enchantment. A triumph. Five stars scarcely feels sufficient. Oh, and parking was mindlessly easy, the owner was present, the bathrooms impeccable, nursing mother's room near restrooms and high ceilings to dissipate the hum.

There is plenty of parking and many other restaurants shops nearby. The inside is clean and modern. There are roughly 10 tables, a comfy couch and chairs, and a small bar area. I HAD to try the Beach Day Latte. The latte was made perfectly. The icing on the cake was the house made coconut cold foam! Ohmygoodness- it was delicious. The breakfast sandwich was standard. I will say they did cook my egg to my liking. The bacon was good but still had grease on the two pieces. Our order taker was friendly and extremely helpful with the explaining the menu. I will definitely go back further the lattes!

Then we waited to be noticed by the wait staff. And we waited, and waited. It took 17 minutes before anyone came to our table. We would have left but we had a $50 gift certificate to use. Finally someone came over. We ordered teas & an appetizer of flaming saganaki. We found it very tasty. For entered I ordered the Greek meatball sandwich. My wife got a cup of egg lemon bowl ( which is a soup she loves) & Keftethes ( with beef meatballs). I found the fries god & the meatballs & bread decent but the sauce was a little off to me which greatly reduced my enjoyment. It was just ok. My wife thought the soup was a bit thin but overall god with a strong lemon flavor. Her entree the meatballs were good, the green beans were cold & the roasted potatoes were decent. Overall she was meh. We ordered desserts to go. Baklava, Galaktoboureko ( custard in philo dough) & Oreo cake. Wife thought the baklava had an overpowering cinnamon taste which hurt it. The Galaktoboureko was basically sugar cream pie with philo crust. I thought it was ok but wife thought it should have been thinner. She also believes the to go containers aren't sufficient for these desserts due to the sugar syrup. The "Oreo cake" had one cookie to the side & was dry. When we gave the waitress our gift certificate she said they would take that off when they rang up the bill. She came back & the gift certificates were not taken off. I pointed this out to her & she went back to talk to whoever is running the register. When she came back she said she has no idea what's going on but they gave me a $50 bill to credit the $50 in gift certificates. My amazing wife surmised that they credited someone else's bill & gave us the $50 to make it right for us. Bottom line is all the staff we interacted with were friendly but the restaurant is very disorganized. Food was just ok. Can't say we were impressed.
