We took a group of retirees around lunch time. We thought things were getting off on the wrong foot when they would not seat us untill all had arrived, which with retirees could be never. However, once they got us seated, they took our orders and got the food right, which with a larger group doesn't always happen. The seating around the fireplace has been redesigned and now the chairs are so close to the fireplace it seems more like decoration than a place you could sit as there would be no leg room and the table works be too far from your face once you sat down. Good service, got in line on yelp and waited 5-10 minutes to be seated. Cold brew was not my favorite, perhaps due to the chicory? The food was on the greasy side, and I would say that a person looking for a really robust breakfast would love it. We ordered two things off the healthy part of the menu and waited over 35 minutes for food to come out. The food was ok at best the syrup didnt taste like anything really and the bacon was unexpecting spicy in the worst way possible. The device wasn't much better ticket times were way to long and the food was definitely not worth the wait or price really. In town for Cincinnati and very impressed with the quality of food and service. We shared the Huevos rancheros and the Yardwork skillet. The huevos rancheros were so flavorful. But the star of the show was the brûlée grapefruit. Without the suggestion of our server, i never would have tried it and it was chefs kiss. The most amazing food I've ever had. Great friendly fast accurate service, and just ridiculously delicious food. How can even orange juice be so much better than any other that I've had?!? Crispy hash cakes, I dream about. Everything possible made from scratch with fresh ingredients and you can taste it. Every month I come to Louisville, I am making a point to come here. 3rd time so far, and have not once been even close to disappointed with anything at all here. Was there about 10:30 today. Seated immediately. Wait staff slow to acknowledge my presence. I gave my order immediately and received my drink shortly thereafter. For the food, I waited and waited. The wait seemed to b longer than necessary for the "crowd" of other customers. When 1/2 of my order arrived, delivery person apologized for long delay. I asked about my side of fries .... she was not aware and would have them put in immed. I never saw her or the waitress again! I had ordered an egg/cheese on biscuit. The biscuit i got was over baked and crunchy. With no bill, no fries and no staff attention, I went to hostess to get and pay bill. She had to call a manager to remove cost of fries. The mgr questioned why she had to remove an item. I replied that they seemed busy and distracted so my fries never were delivered. She responded they were busy but not distracted. Ok ....customer restaurant impression was not important to her ....ok. Goodbye .....i would not ever b excited to return! I really enjoy and recommend other Middletown breakfast places .... WOW! I was so impressed with BBB that we went both days while we were in Louisville. The biscuits and jams are a great way to start the morning meal. I had the Creole omelet with a side of grits and it was one of the better omelets I have ever had. The service was friendly and responsive. Keep up the great work BBB! read more

Ok, I never write reviews unless it's really good or really bad. They need to change their name to ALL BAD BREAKFAST. This was the nastiest breakfast place I've ever been to. I was so excited to try a new place and now I feel totally ripped off. The steak was awful!!! Uneditable, nasty cut of meat, full of gristle. The biscuits were as dry as a Bob Saget joke. Gravy had no flavor( most likely came from a can from Sam's Club). Omelette was awful, seriously it was awful, how hard is it to make an omelette? The only thing that was good was the water, even the coffee sucked. Don't waste 50 bucks on this garbage, First Watch is a thousand times better. Sometimes you gotta pay to learn, well I've learned that I'll never goto that nightmare again. You couldn't pay me to go back there. I even showed the waitress the the chewed up unswallowed pieces of steak and she could care less. There not going to get me again. read more

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I must say I was very disappointed. I walked in to a sign that said to wait to be seated. I waited as nobody was at the counter. I moved to the far end so that I could be seen. I had three different employees glance at me but not one of them verbally acknowledged me. The restaurant was not busy as I noted the important ignored me, found the dust on the countertop more interesting than seating the ONLY person waiting in line. Finally we were seated by Emily who also waited on us. She was very sweet and Nero's our food very quickly. I watched as a Caucasian couple came in and the same employees that saw fit to ignore me (Hispanic) seated them immediately. This happened more than once. I can say with some certainty, I will NOT visit this restaurant ever again. read more
