Recently, I grabbed some takeout food and you get exactly what's on the menu. I ordered: - Double Cheeseburger, just ketchup and mustard. - Jalapeño poppers - Mozzarella Sticks HEY! This is good, hot, and fresh food! The Double Cheeseburger is all about two thick meat patties between two buns with some cheese slipped in. That's a heck of a hamburger. The Jalapeño poppers were fresh. Not the gross frozen kind. You bite into it, there's piece of pepper in there. The Mozzarella Sticks were deep fried battered cheese sticks. Free ranch dressing for dipping. Very good burgers and fried foods are served here! read more

I don't usually go out handing out 5 star reviews but this place deserves it. Pizza and burgers, where can you go wrong? Our team gave this place a try and we are glad we did. The small pizza was HUGE and delicious. Amazing cheese and plentiful pepperoni. Brought a friend a cheeseburger. While I didn't sample it, he raved about it and said he'd definitely go get another one there. read more

Thought I try out Big Guys in Oakland. I chose them over a few others in the downtown area given the menu selection and delivery. Ordered my pie ahead of time and it arrived hot and exactly on time. I had to use the Slice app to order/track which didn't work very well as far as tracking was concerned. In any event, the garlic bread cheese was not what I truly care for but it was just okay. This place is super convenient for me. The weekends they have slices of pizza and they have a few good food options. I've been here enough to say I've tried multiple things to make the review i did. Customer service from the regular guy i usually see is excellent. The wings were okay. The pizza is okay. The Philly cheesesteak was okay however i absolutely do not recommend the burger. Also they didn't make it right which also makes me remember when i ordered a combination from them they forgot two of my most important toppings so that sucked. I love this place. It has a varied menu with lots of options but I have not gone past their delicious burgers. A great deal and are way better than any fast food option. It's rare that I take the time to login and write a review on yelp. With that being said, the last review I had was motivated by terrible service. Let me tell you, this is not the case. By far the BEST burger in Oakland. I've had over 100 burgers in Oakland, and I justify coming here once a week. I'm upset, because I'm disappointed by every other burger I try.
