All of the 5 remaining beers were light beers and I don't waste my time with those so I had to leave to find my real beer elsewhere. Really sad to to see another long time NOLA institution going down the painful path to becoming another Ain't Dere No More addition... I hope they find a way but most people that know more things than me have little faith it can continue...

Meanwhile, all of those empty tables were slowly being set up by 4 other employees, all otherwise ignoring us. At this point we were very short on time and complained to the manager, who did not apologize but sent the server our way, who also did not only not apologize, but said "It's Mardi Gras what do you expect?" Again, there were only two other tables in the entire restaurant and a large handful of employees seemingly doing nothing at all. The food that did arrive was uncharacteristically bad and we did not even bother to finish, and it makes me wonder if it wasn't on purpose because of us complaining about waiting in an empty restaurant for an hour to actually be spoken to. We have been coming to Pascals for years because it is close to the Tucks' den and it was a nice tradition, but this was one of the most insulting experiences we've had, so we will be moving forward and making a new tradition next year.
